Greetings,

 

I'd like to take the time to clear up some things about my ban, most importantly, according to Professerloud, how I apparently evaded muting and exploited.

 

Professerloud, I'd like to hear your side, since I can't think of any rational person thinking I could evade a mute from an admin or exploited while doing so. I can only assume you were high/drunk on something, to which I suggest not taking admin duties while under the influence. Otherwise, miss understandings like this will happen.

 

Including my unban, I request that Professerloud is suspended for a week to contemplate the possibilities of such a situation arising again.

Edit: -1, troll and have had numerous complaints on you. Whyte did the right thing to give you a week ban. You would break a rule aka spam and harass then leave before you got your punishment.

Here's a bunch of screens, next time I'll make sure to take a demo, as of how he evaded the mute, I'm unsure, maybe our KB or Ohstopyou can look into this. Either way this guy seems to be just a troll as you'll notice in one of the screenshots he claimed, "You have no idea how many servers I've done this too" So whatever. I understand your spam was "funny" to certain users, but it doesn't make it ok, spam is spam.

While I won't deny I wasn't micspamming (as many people who witnessed it will tell you I was), your program being broken is no excuse to ban an innocent person.

Innocent? As soon as you discovered that the mute for some reason failed, due to your evasion or some glitch, you continued to instantly spam through the mic. Also considering your approach to this ban protest, saying I should be suspended and shouldn't be under the influence while working, maybe if you came at this better I would support this ban being shortened at most, but you've admitted the screenshots are there, and I suggest you wait the week.

Retardation is a serious problem in the world. Studies show only a functioning brain can cure retardation. I for one believe we should all chip in to pay for the surgery that will allow Whyte to get a new brain. Together, we can secure a future for him/her.

User will not be unbanned. Wait out your week, and if you continue to be a nuisance after the week is up, we will move the ban to permanent status.

 

Bit of advice. Don't come waltzing in here like you own the place, expecting everyone to bend the knee just because you raise a bit of an attitude with my staff, ESPECIALLY if you were knowingly in the wrong. You pressed the issue as far as it would go, and now you get to pay for your actions.

 

Our system being broken in no way entitles you to abuse it. Even if there are faults, there are consequences for your actions, as you have learned first-hand. But we still have rules in place you are expected to adhere to, even if you find a loophole in the system. Not exploiting those bugs just so happens to be another rule we follow here, which means you are guilty of not only the evasion, but the bug abuse as well. Luckily for you, there is no hard evidence AGAINST you and what you did, so the ban cannot be further escalated.

 

To put it simply, I feel you're getting off light. And consider this your final warning: don't micspam at all when you return or you won't see another xG server again.
