Best Decade for Movies

I would say the 70s. Mainly because it was the peak of film before CGI kicked in. How can you say no when movies such as Patton, Taxi Driver, Rocky, Jaws, The Godfather (p1 and p2), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Exorcist, Star Wars, A Clockwork Orange (my brothers), The Deer Hunter (cmoon the russian roulette scene was amazing), and sooo many others came out. What is your favorite movie making decade?

2000's, I agree with you that the 70s was a great era for movies but I must say my favourite has to be the 2000s with movies I have loved such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spottless Mind, Memento, Gladiator being the ones that stand out, I would have to say it has been the best.

I have to agree with you silence, the 70's was definately my fav era of movie making.
