Brian 50 Posted February 6, 2012 It says "Preparing to launch x....", then the window goes away and nothing happens. I just got this computer out of the garage, and it works fine, except for steam. Anybody know how to fix it? It's Windows XP COMPAQ AMD Athlon Presario 6000 Pretty much nothing else to say. I'll be in Teamspeak 3.

BlueRaja 0 Posted February 10, 2012 Right-click CS --> properties --> local files --> Verify game cache files Otherwise Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool or reinstall DirectX/graphics-drivers. Do any other games have issues?
Renakane 0 Posted February 12, 2012 Possibly re-install steam or what you can do is go to your panel and check the compatibility depending on if your computer has that option and it could help you out quite a bit and the post above me basically explains what to do
