Chrono 372 Posted October 8, 2012 Alrighty so recently i finished up the book entitled A Kingdom Besieged which is the most recent installment in the entire Riftwar Saga which is a lump sum set of series of books, taking place over centuries, with 2 main characters who are constant throughout and others that join in either through birth, adventure, or war. These books are written by the author Raymond E. Feist, who's first book in the saga was entitled Magician which later in the US was split into 2 books, Magician: Apprentice; and Magician: Master (In the original there was a split [a blank page] that signified a passing of time and the next chapter started many years after where we left off) I would definitely recommend this saga to anyone who enjoys reading (Warning for college level reading and above some of the material may be difficult to understand if you are younger) And what I want from this post is, what book / series have you read recently, by who, and what book / series would you recommend? you already know mine. unfortunately Feist has chosen to end the Saga, and this upcoming novel from him is the final one. (this past series he has killed of many characters...) I will be sad to see it go, but I know that it is for the best the story ends because there is not much more he could do with it, I mean going deeper into other realms would be too drastic for the saga to do, seeing as what happens to the characters when they go merely 1 plane of existence higher or lower... it would be practically impossible to go more than that unless you are one of the gods, which reside in every realm at the same time. also forgot a link to the novel (part 1) incase you wanted to look into it. ItsAaron 1 Posted October 8, 2012 This sounds really interesting. I read... alot. It's mainly sci-fi and fantasy stuff, and lately I've been reading the Ringworld series, which is sci-fi. Set around an expedition to an artificially created planet which is basically just a giant ring around a sun, with thousands of times the surface area on it as that of Earth. There's like 3 or 4 in the main series, then there's 3 prequels to it which have nothing to do with the ringworld itself. But I'm absolutely loving them. And I'm defo gonna take your recommendation when I'm done.

Brian 50 Posted October 9, 2012 Sounds interesting, however, does it come in a box set? I have some spare cash, and this wouldn't be too bad to pick up.

ItsAaron 1 Posted October 10, 2012 Hey I gave a serious response and you never replied :3 I've read all the Game of Thrones to date too, starting before they were considering making a series cuz my sister bought it me for christmas thinking I might like it, and she was so right. The TV series will never have as much porn and violence as the books though :L
