I tried the pre release, but I felt like it wasn't really made for use on PC, more like a tablet operating system or something, the way the UI works and where you place your cursor. Just felt a bit difficult and unintuitive :(

Well I'm enjoying it at the moment. I doubt I'll use the metro UI but I no longer have to use ultramon since W8 has so many features for multiple displays :D Plus my computer boots in 10 seconds now, and it's faster!

Thiiisssss. I tried it at comiccon on a laptop and I had no idea what I was doing lol. I would rather have Windows 7 (although I still run XP because fuck da polis)

Although it might make some PC's work quicker, it takes some hefty processing power in the first place to get it like that. I think it'd still shit out older PC's

Personally, I hated the layout when I tried it. It's pretty shitty, they should just stick with the original layout.

if you want to test windows 8 without buying it, just use your smart phone :P
