    XenoGamers Lottery

    Entrees of 5$ are no longer accepted. 10$ has now become the minimum to donate to enter for 1 entree into the Drawing.

    The Drawing will be held on XenoGamers' TinyChat (tinychat.com/xgrepresent)
    on October 11, 2013 (Friday) at 4:00 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)


     
    What is the XenoGamers Lottery?

    The XenoGamers Lottery is a drawing in which any Entrants are eligible to win a cash prize of up to 100.00$! Runner-up prizes may also be distributed for 2nd and 3rd drawings
    Anyone is eligible to enter this Lottery, Non-Member and Member!
    Entering in this Lottery will benefit XenoGamers by aiding in it's growth as both a Clan and Community as well as adding future content!

    How does it work?

    Entrants may donate in increments of 5.00$ toward the Lottery (only 5.00$ is needed for entry). For each additional 5.00$, their name will be added once more to the Drawing, thereby doubling/tripling/etc their chances of winning! (For Example: 5.00$ = 1 slip, 10.00$ = 2 slips, 15.00$ = 3 slips, etc.)
    Players interested in entering will post below in the Comments Section with the following format:


    >Name: [Name] Donation: [Amount Donated] For example: Name: Forest Donation: 5$


    Names will be written out on equally sized slips on live cam and then placed into a hat (which will be shown as empty) in which a slip will be drawn to establish a winner. Additional slips will be drawn for Runner-Up prizes of 2nd and 3rd place.

    How much money can I win?

    The maximum cap for this particular Lottery is 100.00$
    The minimum amount you can win starts at 30.00$ and rises in increments of 2.00$ for each additional entry (This only applies to Entrants and not the amount of money donated for additional entries. For Example: 6 people entered in the drawing. 6 x 2 = 12 additional dollars added to the 30.00$; thereby making a total of 42.00$ to be won)

    How will I receive the cash prize?

    The amount of cash won will be transferred wirelessly via PayPal. A PayPal account is required to receive the money. All you have to do is simply register an Email Address to a PayPal account and you will be able to use the money as you please. Get started Here to sign-up!

    When do I have to donate by?

    A date will be issued giving the day/time that it would be best to have donated by (will be located at the top of the thread), however; you may choose to donate at any given point from here on out so long as you notify myself (Forest) via Forums/TeamSpeak/Steam or by simply posting in the thread located below that you have donated.

    Hey guys and gals, glad you are taking the time to look over this month's Xeno Gamers Newsletter!! We have a few things that I'd like to be brought to your attention, such as current statuses of our Divisions, Events that have come and gone, and future upcoming events! So without further ado;

    Counter-Strike: Source Updates

    New Division Leader: Darkwolf6052 and new Division Manager JohnWilkesBooth
    Return of the Rebel option for "Last Request". Time for more bloody carnage!
    BOOM. Bombs are back, the time has come to rejoice for those of you who enjoy blowing up the CTs!
    New Maps, hopefully with the inclusion of more maps, those "First Reaction/Last Reaction" days will die out. I wouldn't get my hopes up though.

     
    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Updates

    Servers are currently down, but don't despair! CS:GO will return to it's former glory! Division Leaders are currently being looked for, so if you are interested in becoming a CS:GO Division Leader, follow the link located Here to post an application/submission!
    Also, we have not forgotten about our CS:GO Staff Members! In order to alleviate the boredom you may be feeling, all CS:GO Staff Members are now eligible to have their powers temporarily transferred over to our Team Fortress 2 Division!! If you are interested in becoming a TF2 Staff Member while CS:GO is under construction (and would like to feel that moderating power again) then follow the link located Here to post that you are interested and would like this to happen!

XenoGamers will be hosting another Lottery, where one of you lucky individuals may win prizes up to 100$. Expect a thread soon to appear in our xG News section announcing the Lottery as well as details.

    Upcoming Customizable Titles on Forums: xG is currently working on making a more enjoyable experience for it's Users by including a new feature that will allow individualism to it's Players/Members. With this new function, Donators will be able to have a personalized title under their names (this function will also be available to "Gift" to your friends!). This feature will be arriving within a month or two, so expect it around that time!

    This post follows the last idea thread (link here if you missed it: xG-News - League of xG Tourney!)
     
    Quick rundown of what's going down:
    1v1 mirror lane, first to destroy turret wins the match.
    It's pretty obvious mechanically inclined champions will make this VERY interesting. We don't want a boring, heimerdinger stand-off mid.
     
    Due to no clear champion choice in the last thread, this poll will decide what champ will be used for the tourney. Posting below will put you a spot in the tourney as well, so leave a comment saying you are in.
     
    Double elimination will be the layout; seeds will be randomized.
    For whatever unlucky one of you gets PiNoY, don't worry you will have another chance in the loser pool.
     
    Start brushing up on the voted champ, there will probably be a weeks notice 'till the dates of matches.

    2nd Place: RP prize of 5$

    The tourney will take most of the guidelines from the previous North American tournament of "Best Riven NA"

    The problem is, however, that every person has to have the specific champion for this tourney.
    The response of this thread will determine champion selection.
     
    Lee Sin, Heimerdinger (lel), Zed, etc. have been highly requested, as well as lane specific such as a general Mid lane, or ADC competitions.
     
    So give us your thoughts on what champions or what lanes shall be contested!

    xG vs. HG Scrim Tourney

    Okay.. So I'm making another thread to have this event organized etc etc..
     
    After intense sexual edging between me and Archer from HG, he proposed a 15v15 with 3 teams of 5. He proposed this since there are so many people from HG who would like to scrim. As we know there is an abundance of players who will be willing to scrim so I have made this thread for members to apply/group up with other members. There will be two more teams as I have already made one. It's mainly a friendly event so don't worry if you're awful at CS:S, in the end it's just for fun.

    XenoGamers Newsletter #1

    Hello Players and Members of Xeno Gamers! Forest here to report that we have had a great month with a few accomplishments I'd like to make known to everyone. So without further ado;
     
    1st and foremost, our Garry's Mod Division has been making a come-back (as I'm sure you are all aware) and the TTT Server has been able to maintain a high amount of players daily! A great big thanks to Fuzz and Skitzofrenly for all of their hard work in populating our Garry's Mod Division as well as taking the responsibility of bringing it back to it's former glory (and then some)!!
     
    For those of you anxiously waiting for our Dark RP server to be up and running, our Division Leaders only ask that you wait a little bit longer. Remember; they aspire to make it the best of the best, near perfection, so it will take some time, some effort, a little elbow grease, and of course, a lot of support from the community! Once again, a huge thank you to our Garry's Mod Division Leaders!

    2nd, I would like to thank those of you who took part in the first Xeno Gamers Drawing (which may be one of the first of many to come). Remember guys and gals, this sort of event benefits Xeno Gamers and only requires that you donate 5$ in exchange for both Donator status as well as the chance to win up to 100$!!
     
    I would also like to congratulate Chrono, our current Division Leader of Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, who was able to win the Drawing with a pretty sweet cash prize of 42$.

    3rd, I would like to mention a Member of our community who has been a great help to Xeno Gamers in scraping by through donations. A great big thank-you to ForestJr (daddiodoug) for the amount of donations that at one point saved the CS:S Servers from being shut-down. Even before that, donations by this Member were given. Surely, ForestJr was last month's Donator of the Month and deserves a round of applause! I would also like to mention that he has taken it upon himself to aid Silence in possibly funding a coder in order to get hub up and running for the Counter-Strike:Source Division.
