I agree with @Bleed. How is someone simply pardoned from a perm ban, without telling at least the CLs and getting their input (It's their job to decide who gets unbanned not yours)? Why is he then also given moderator without him even being a member in the first place? Why was no research done into who was being promoted (Talking to the people in tf2 staff, I can safely tell you that the staff members are actually active within the div, and if you asked a DM about the promos for questionable ones, like people you don't see on TS ever, you would get some info on them.)? While we're at it, I agree with @Klure if we are just pardoning people we are friends with, time to free LQ and neteX and Soy Sauce.

As it has been said in the past and I'll go ahead and post it in here for the CLs (some are from this time as well) in the case of cristo and a few others, multi-clanning is allowed. But it is allowed on a case by case basis, and the circumstances that would allow it are very specific, the other "clan" in question must have 0 competition whatsoever with any of our servers on any game. In Cristo's case this is fine because R.I.P. is a pub clan and that is no problem, the one time we had a pub server was for xmas and it just stuck as an empty locked server and nobody went on it. As long as there is no server similar to ours, they should be allowed membership.

The ban was issued a year ago. not just now, The reason you were probably on the server (if you were last night) was because for a brief window of time, our servers lost connection to the sourcebans database and technically for that period of time anyone banned could have got in the server, but once connection got re-established, after the map change all bans would have been in place again.

you can't "stop letting people use it with minecraft" when it is an open source game, anyone could just pick it up and decide to develop a control scheme to work with it. Notch only stopped developing official support of it.

There's a difference when you have a ton of bans after you get mod from banning yourself. and having 11 ct bans for freekills, 1 for mass bombing Ts (although that should have been a server ban not ct ban), and a couple regular bans for spamming. as well as when he spams the forums with useless pointless shit just to try to be "funny" when really all he is doing is being annoying. The most recent person to do that on the forums was iceslice, and he got put away for a long time. All his recent antics on forums alone show he lacks the maturity to handle moderator. let alone the fact he constantly breaks the rules by intentionally freeshooting people (even though they may be friends, they probably don't want freeshot) and his spam both mic and chat in game. This is the reason I gave a -1 and I really do honestly 101% believe that he is not fit for moderator. And the whole idea of "well there is only 1 way to find out" is a stupid idea, because if he does do something bad then he tarnishes the reputation of the server, I would have to see a complete change in attitude before I would even give a 0 on his app. I am also fairly certain many others believe the same as me.

here is the forseeable future of you with mod. there are only 2 possible options. 1 There is a major overhaul in your attitude and you become a model citizen in not only servers, but life as well. 2 You get an abuse report within the day, you lose mod, and get perm banned.

Mod submissions always have stayed open, and players never receive powers until after the promo demo list with their name is posted. Why are you trying to change that now? With the way that you are handling this case, you are removing the purpose of a promo/demo list.
