Haven't tried these yet, and I don't see a limitation on it in MOTD, so was wondering if they are permissible for surprise trivia: 0) The T to your right/left will die (while unstacked) 1) The T's to your right and left will die (while unstacked) 2) Pick 3 t's to die, one of them must be to your right or left (while unstacked)

Is there a list of maps that are played on that server?
-
I did like this map, and it didn't seem biased towards one team or another. Lots of activities too.

I don't understand how TeamSpeak is different from allchat on jailbreak. Is there a way to limit your voicechats to only the team you're on? e.g. ct-only voice chat? I connected and I don't understand the advantage
-
This is fine, but I think center text should be limited to urgent messages like clarifying freedays or addressing rule violations by the warden. Everything else should be green text or voice chat (e.g. individual rule violations, etc).

Is it normal not to have a demo record your own voice? When I record a demo, it records everyone's voice except mine. It just shows the little voice icon, but my voice isn't recorded

Do you know what causes it or how to prevent it before it happens?

I have seen this happen numerous times to both myself and other people talking about it over teamchat. It doesn't happen that often, I would say it's semi-rare, but I see it happen once every couple days. 1) A weapon appears to be on someone's back when it isn't (i sometimes have to double check with another player to see if that weapon is indeed on their back, or if I end up tasing them, that weapon still appears on their back) 2) A person appears to be in their cell when they are in an entirely different place (when you shoot where they are supposed to be, you cannot damage them. Several other players say that person is somewhere else) This problem isn't limited to me and my system, because I have heard it and witness it happen to other people.

Someone mentioned last night that there was now a UK-based jailbreak server for xg. How do you feel about this? I personally would prefer everyone stay together because a full server is more fun, and the US server rarely has problems joining.

Grenade no-block would make more sense because the characters are already no-block to each other

1) For FR/LR. This has been happening a lot. Would like an official answer for it: For example, if a warden says "first reaction crouch" and someone is already crouching before the command was given, what should happen to that guy? I've seen it go 50/50 where the guy gets killed or he doesn't. (most of the time it's with a first reaction jump command) 2) For warday, if a T is outside the warday area with a gun out, I know he can be killed. The MOTD says participation is mandatory. Does that mean active participation or does the warden have to say "they must be actively participating." Once the warden says "they must be actively participating" does that mean any T that a CT can see from inside the warday area is fair game? I am not 100% sure, so I always wait until I either see a gun out or they are in the warday area.

I think there are a lot of RPG gmod servers already that are very popular. One interesting game mode I saw the other day was called war. It's basically build, but you can deathmatch while you build
-
I prefer demo in-game because I already get lower fps anyway

This might just be a function of the "newness" of the map, but the map does seem to be somewhat T-sided at this point. (Lots of open spaces, tele, vent, and gun cells). I played this on a full server for 45 minutes and a lot of competent CT's were frustrated. Is there anything that can be done to make the map somewhat more restrictive for T's? The games and areas are great, but a lot of CT's seem to get killed on the way to or back from them. After a few tries of trying to corral people into soccer, hot potato, or disco, a lot of wardens just started doing FRLR or trivia in the cell area.

Could we expand "Rate the pool dive day" and "What's for dinner day"-type games to include all opinion-type games as long as there are 3 judges? Do we need admin permission if it's not one of the opinion games we've played before? For example, "What do you think is the most interesting animal and why?"
-
Depends on the map. If it's electric razor, I think it should be perfectly acceptable to call order solely for the purpose of cutting off a freeday. I've seen this happen numerous times, where someone opens the cells quickly several days in a row and it results in a freeday either because there was hesitation or people don't want to call it immediately. If it's several freedays in a row, then it really ruins the games for both ct's and t's.

Played this today. Looks great and runs faster than maps smaller in size. Will you be working on optimizing fps even further?
-
I don't really mind the idea, but I think some of the visual features might be lagging fps and if it does that, it might alienate some people with not-so-great computers. I have a 1 year old laptop, but it's out of the box from Best Buy and I have to crank down all the graphics settings to get an fps that doesn't annoy me
-
I don't get it. I don't think I've seen it as a nominate option?
-
It depends on the size and type of crowd you are playing with. If it's a full server, it's nice to get rid of some because you know a bunch are going to rebel. If it's a smaller server, I like to be lenient about cell orders. In either case, it just plain sucks to get people at the bottom of the cells and realize only half of the t team is alive.
-
What's this rebel game?
-
I usually only kill if they are hopping or going way out to the side for some suspicious reason
-
Another one that came up tonight: a) Tasers may not be used on wardays.
-
I am going off of: Xeno Gamers Could you link to the other one?
