The reason we ban players who Mass Freekill are because we believe they did not take the time to look over our MoTD Rules. If you don't have the time to look it over at least Once, then We don't have the time to continuously slay you over breaking rules over and over again. Accidental or not, it was an event that could have been avoided had you payed attention to your surroundings. Going to leave this thread open a while longer so the community can voice their opinion, but I can almost guarantee you won't be unbanned any time soon. Try again in a number of months, as it will give us time to re-evaluate and determine whether or not you have made a change for the better. -1 for an unban. - Dat guy, Forest

#Closed due to multiple counts of idiocy, ignorance and immature behaviour. It's an hour ban, it's not like your life is over, and it's Definitely not worth making a Ban Protest over. If you have a problem with the way our Staff Members are dealing with things, then post a Member Protest or a Report Abuse thread. If you feel you want to remain Anonymous, then do it in our Thread which keeps your identity hidden. There is no need to continuously spam Admin Chat because you feel they're in the wrong, especially with multiple Staff Members on during the time. They dealt with the situation in an appropriate and proper manner, this being Warnings > Kick > Ban.

lol, I remember this. Wasn't even that long ago, and because of that I'm going to have to -1 this request. I suggest waiting At least a couple of months before throwing a Ban Protest up. I also strongly suggest not sharing your account to prevent any mishaps such as this, because we've had more then enough people protesting a ban with the reason that either a friend/sibling/cousin was on their account. Just be glad that your friend wasn't autistic enough to flee after immediately doing it, and that you were only CT banned instead of server banned. There is literally No way to prove that any kills were freekills via Console, however judging purely by the fact that you are indeed Permanently CT banned and that there was a handful of Staff Members on (Including a Division Manager) is more then enough proof that you had broken our rules. You may not think you broke any rules, but it is our Staff Member's duty to reach a verdict, which they clearly discussed via Admin Chat. The Console only proves that more then 3+ Terrorists were killed, which at any point warrants a Permanent CT ban (Or server ban depending on the situation) if rules were broken. Anything above or below that punishment is breaking Our rules of being a Staff Member. What I'm getting at is don't be so closed-minded with your actions. Our Staff saw what looked like an unfair order and/or tarp that resulted in multiple Terrorists being killed. Before saying something like "I know I didn't do it", take the time to put yourself into a Staff position where something like this happened, and think on how you should act upon it. Also keep in mind that what you say or what order you give may make sense to yourself, but may not make sense to others, which is what is clearly happening here. The proof of freekills are with the Staff Members who were on at the time and had Witnessed it. I will however say that a shortened ban may be in order if majority feels it should happen. I will also disregard any 1-ups that are purely there because they're friends of the player posting the ban protest. If this was done because of a misinterpretation and misunderstanding, then I believe a second chance is in order. It is a simple mistake that can be made by many, however I will remind people to be as detailed with orders as possible to prevent situations such as this. It's not so much the CT's fault when you have trolls and smart asses on T who are loopholing the shit out of the Warden's orders and causing mass tarps and potential freekills. +1 for a ban shortened to at least 2 weeks (still lengthy as this protest is relatively recent, and there should still be some allotted time for the ban to give the player time to review MoTD Rules as a precautionary measure.) - Dat guy, Forest

Added the following into the Basic MoTD: 1. Do not advertise on our servers. 2. No cheating on our servers (this includes wall-hacking, aimbot, etc). 3. Do not impersonate other members or admins. 4. All sprays and avatars must be PG- 13 and cannot have nudity in them. 5. No using voice changers in-game. 6. You must have enough legible characters in your name so staff is able to target you. 7. Do not bring up or make remarks to political stances, religions, leaders, nations or touchy subjects. 8. No racism or sexism in an insulting manner is allowed. 9. Lastly, and most importantly, admins have final say about decisions in-game, do not pester or bother them. Thanks for the input bicboi

The reasoning behind making the Basic MoTD is so that people will be more inclined to read the rules if it's shorter and straight to the point. Keep in mind that this will attract 'one-time' players who are just playing to have fun every now and then and only want to know the basics. It is also why there is a link provided to our Complete MoTD in it, so that players who take it more seriously and want a further more detailed understanding can do so by looking over it. This way, we can keep two separate copies, one ingame which we don't have to worry about updating, and one that we can make as detailed as we want without fear of making it Too long (since it's for those who want to go indepth) which will remain in CS:S Discussion.

Technically speaking, you're at 9 vouches with a few other incomplete requirements: - One vouch failed to provide little to Any information regarding this player (nutella), thus being 9 - Being active on TeamSpeak is just as important as being active on Servers - I had posted that this thread would be closed if by the end of the day there were not enough vouches, which there weren't With all that said, just going to let the other DMs decide whether or not it should happen. xG Has our life. We all signed that shit over when we wanted to be a Member. If you're looking for a Promotion, you shouldn't be concentrating to the point where your personal life starts to slip out of place. If we feel that you do a good job, show a level of desired Maturity and Activity, etc, then you'll most likely be promoted. Besides, this week we're looking at possible candidates due to our recent 'purge' of mods.
