  1. If this whole situation was loosely based around jokes among friends (with the exclusion of kona) then I don't see the need to raise the ban time. Silence did not take offence either, so if what I've gathered is correct, it's that kona was the only one to take offence. With that being the case, if the attitude from @@Hex2 continues, then further punishment will be dealt. However; at this point I honestly don't see why his ban time should be increased. @@kona309 if he continues to harass you or disrespect you, then let me know or post a thread regarding it. This will be his one and only warning. On another unrelated note, I'm hoping our CS:S Division picks up on their activity, because this is starting to get annoying. ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods
  2. Which it has been. Until the CS:S Higher-Ups stop being M.I.A, this is how it will be unless they want it changed. I know you n*gger, either get pumped full of bullets or be slain for not participating. I wasn't changing it, hop off muh dick. Edited it to satisfy your blood lust.

  4. Uhhhh.. Until the Division Managers or Leader have given their input (not likely to be soon), for the time being, this is how it will be (susceptible to change during a later date by the CS:S Higher-Ups); 1. Terrorists near the Warday area are KoS? No, this will not be enforced. If the Terrorist is simply near the Warday area without a gun and is not actively participating, then they will be slain (or killed, whichever comes first). If they have a gun out and are outside of the Warday area (excluding Armory), they may be killed. 2. Counter-Terrorists shooting through doors? To an extent. If a CT is shooting through the door, they better know that they are susceptible to being slain should they free kill someone without a gun. Note that this sort of situation is extremely rare, as the T who was killed may have come late (which warrants a slay on the CT) or the T had his gun holstered and was baiting a freekill (in which case, the T will be slain or may be killed). Further investigation by a Staff Member should happen to determine whether the kill was a free kill or if it was justified. CTs shooting through doors are putting themselves at risk by doing so, however it is allowed. As mentioned earlier, none of this information should be added to the MoTD Rules as it has always been like this since the last discussion of CTs shooting through doors.
  5. lel, both the behaviour and attitude being displayed by Hex is atrocious. He's a long time player, and should honestly know better. Now, I don't know if this was done because he was throwing some hissy-fit, or if was completely honest opinion, but regardless of that; if players/members are taking offence then it needs to stop. There's my opinion on the matter. @@ChrisBenoit and @@SonicRainbow , take your match of fistycuffs elsewhere, like the flagpole outside of the school. Don't want to see you two duking it out in here. One and only warning :Old Man: EDIT: Forgot to mention one other alternative; this being that he was joking around with the players he "disrespected", in which case it's completely up to those he mentioned.

    Secret mods

As Bleed mentioned, Moderators have the ability to go "undercover" should there be a reason to do so on the Servers. However; this should only happen when there is only one Staff Member on, otherwise it's just pointless. PS: Dark RP? @@Bleed
  7. Sign of the Apocalypse. End is nigh. All that good shit.
  8. Fact of the matter is that we don't allow racial slurs, simple as that. Unless that is to be changed, than it is still a punishable offence. If what was said is true, and the player was already gagged for doing-so and afterwards stopped completely, I don't see the reason to give a ban. Had he continued after being ungagged (or kicked) then a ban would be in order. If anything, the Staff on at the time should have gagged him sooner to prevent the spam, lel. With that said, #Closing this thread as no further punishment is warranted. However; should Hex continue with this sort of behaviour (spamming racial slurs) then he will be punished. ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods
  9. A command such as "ban @ all" should be a no-brainer that you shouldn't use it. I mean, just the command name itself should warrant a "not touching that with a 10 ft pool" reaction, which is why it was never actually established back then. I'm not arguing that the cash @ all affects the Server far worse than a ban @ all, I'm just pointing out that one has been never used before (excluding the few times you described) whereas a "new" command hasn't had the time to be properly discussed. On top of that, it was established that Staff caught using ban @ all were to be immediately demoted to Member by Silence during the "ban @ all fiasco". The reason that it wasn't broadcasted to the public was so that the culprit would be caught, should they choose to do it again (same as an announcement of a plugin to track it's use). It was covert for the sole purpose of catching whoever did it. Cash @ all was deemed inappropriate to use by myself ingame, and again, I do admit that I should have posted it globally for all Staff to know via forums, which is why I am taking responsibility for both John and Hella's actions (more-so John). If you want to discuss this further, let me know and I'll PM you (or if you prefer it can be made global via a thread in General) but for the time being I'd like the thread to remain a Moderator Submission at this point. It's getting too messy up in here, n'ah mean.
  10. If it ain't broke, don't fix it
  11. No no, what I'm saying is that John had said it had to be 100% in agreement for Hella to use the command (which it wasn't[?]). I'm defending what John had said, but Hella is still in the wrong for doing it as it wasn't 100% in agreement.
  12. ^ Speak now, or forever hold your peace.
  13. Unless John was covering his ass, my understanding is that he said he was okay with it if the votes received were 100% in agreement. However, the reason the two situations are different are simply because of the commands used, not because of the vote. Ban @ all was strictly forbidden and was never to be used under any circumstances, as it has been for a long time (correct me if I'm wrong). Cash @ all was something that was recently put out, and was never completely determined it's "terms of use" so to speak. Again, my understanding is that it was allowed by CS:S Higher-Ups (for whatever reason), however I deemed it unfit to be used at all as there is currently no max bomb cap for the server (again, correct me if I'm wrong) and it would result in far too many bombs used, giving the Ts a ridiculously unfair advantage, however; I will admit that I should have stated it on forums afterwards that it would be strictly prohibited until discussed, but as far as I know, they were given permission to use it(?) by CS:S Divs. If anything, I take responsibility for Hella's misuse of the cash @ all since John was not aware that I had restricted it's use earlier on the Servers.
  14. I'm starting to think everyone's starting to mix up what really happened, lel. The only occurrence that Aaron was proven guilty was the time he did the vote before the ban @ all, which he was then demoted for. Every other time we couldn't find out who did it (as there were a handful of Staff on at the times such as during canyon_dam or electric_razor_v6). Ask Higher-Ups outside of this thread for a clear-up or somethin', there are enough posts regarding it on this Submission. Just sayin'

    Uhm.

Hope to see you around every now and then m8. I'll change you to Member status as soon as I can (having troubles with it). @@Rhododendron keeps giving me an error reading "invalid serverID" or some shiz. Can't change Forum Ranks. Good luck in your future endeavours bud! Hope you overcome most (if not all) of life's shitty obstacles.
  16. ^^^^^^ Thing is, you can't post a thread without trolls posting in it. It's bound to happen. Just post in General, because honestly, any of those topics are in General. Some people will take it seriously and post their opinion, while others won't, and there really isn't anything that can be done about that (aside from Higher-Ups deleting posts that are either irrelevant or there to intentionally de-rail the thread). As far as I'm concerned, the internet is a difficult place to just sit down, throw out a topic, and expect 100% mature answers and attitude, no matter where you are. Also, @@xShadowSpyx the original intention of the /xG/ section was for Players to post Abuse reports or Member protests without fear of being judged or singled out as the "tattle-tale". Unfortunately, it quickly went down hill and was used for ridiculous and un-needed threads. I will however point out that a few threads posted there are useful, especially when showing criticism of a Higher-Up. Lets us know when we're doing something wrong or are lacking in something, and players/members are able to express their opinion. My opinion would be to notify a Forum Moderator (Typically Division Manager+) that you would like to post a thread (In General section) that is to be treated seriously and request that any invalid or irrelevant posts are to be deleted. That's what I would do at least. - Dat guy, Forest
  17. There is no evidence provided that Aaron was in fact the person who did it during that time, and as such he wasn't banned for it. There were multiple other Staff Members on, and it could have been anyone; we can't just single someone out because he was most likely to have done it. Most cases are handled with factual information. The only time Aaron was guilty of doing so was after posting a vote to see if the Players would agree to it in which it was captured by the plugin (as well as seen in chat logs). During no other time (that I know of) did Aaron blatantly ban @ all.
  18. Alright, I'm the one with the name "Candy4U". It's completely unrelated to the amount of kids on that game, I assure you.
  19. +1. Although he was demoted, it was for something that was not directly associated to his ability to moderate or to do his job. Aaron was a fine Staff Member, and from what I've seen is hell'a active (especially around the odd hours cuz #britswag). I don't see why he shouldn't be back in power, however I will note that he should check with Higher-Ups in the future before doing something that may be questionable, no matter how frivolous (if and when he does get his position back :p)
  20. https://xenogamers.org/threads/23339/ Should definitely join in on this.
