i kept having random DCs over wireless and wired then i got a new router and all my problems were solved....weird stuff. Only contribution i have that might possibly somehow help you.

I would rejoin xG for a halo division, for ANY halo game. I would also help moderate it if needed. Just saying.

Dude, i do that every round. Steps 1-5, though, doesnt work regardless. Ts just coward out of it.

I feel like it would be difficult to moderate but worth it, as all my other arguments for the most part were given vaild counter arguments... There in reality is no difference between camping a vent 3 feet away and camping a vent 30 feet away, you can still instikill anyone coming out of it. As dead mods/admins are the ones stuck doing moderating during wardays anyway,i believe its a matter of simply checking the FP view of players under compaint. I dont mind terribly that wardays arent very fun for me, but i just figured its worth a shot. FTR, coordinating wardays or rebels or ANYTHING with ts NEVER work. You set a time, and about 7 people say "kk lets do it." then 3 seconds later you feel like an idiot because you are the only person who rebelled, or entered the warday area, or whatever.

I noticed that several weeks ago CTs were basically given permission to shoot anyone they saw on a warday area, as long as they were in warday, on the grounds that "That t is not actively participating." People that play CT more often than T might not notice it, but its not fun getting shot instantly because every CT is camping every entrance to the warday area. Basically, CTs can camp every entrance to the warday area (and i mean CAMP, with awps trained on doors and such) and then start saying about how bad ts are because they arent participating. Now, CTs tend to be bad, so it usually gets down to LCT at some point, but its annoying for me when the only way to participate into a warday is by jumping around into the warday area and hoping to get lucky shots (and i mean, im not BAD at CSS. Not great, but not bad.) or by camping outside war day entrances and popping out occasionally hoping to get a shot off without being domed. If i had any suggestions, it would be that: 1.) since warday areas must have two entrances, a time is given to enter the warday area, one team from each entrance, and all persons must have entered by say, 10 seconds after that time, or risk being slayed. Anyone in the warday area before the given time would be slayed. This seems to me it would be the most dramatic change, and i figure its worth at least TESTING. OR 2.) disallow CTs from camping using the definition in MOTD, 10 feet in 15 seconds or whataever, and disallow vent camping. OR 3.) some other solution. Just wanted some other opinions on this, as loller suggested I created a thread and i figured why not.

i5s are hardly more "reliable." CPUs either work or they dont. The FC series had good reviews (outside of benchmark reviews) too. I hardly see how any CPU is more user friendly than another, especially since the intel heatsinks use the push pins of death still as far as i know. Its a good PC,as mentioned your ram is complete overkill and your PSU is too. I might recommend lowering the ram to 8GB and picking up a 7850. but thats just me.

It says you are getting a discount, but it slashes out the "if purchased individually" price of 115 and says 130. so somethings wrong. Its been being sold for 10 dollars give or take 5 on and off, and most of those games are worth a play.

planetside 2 is a horribly optimized game. Might want to try overclocking your CPU, people easily get it to 4 GHz on air. Planet side 2 has more problems with CPU than it does graphics ram. both are a problem but it works CPUs the most. The 7770 is a really capable cheap budget card, so im pretty sure your CPU is the bottleneck. im under the impression that overclocking it would fix any troubles.

you mean like tegra4? for x86, itd be great.would help stop intels stupid price fixing.

ahah true that. they said they are adding one but its invisible in games or something like that, which in a way, defeats the purpose. Im selling halo 4 and getting BO2 mostly to play with friends, ill play any competitive shooters on PC from now on, which depresses me horribly. Still got my halo 3 MP, and maybe ill get halo 4 again when they decide to start fixing problems in 2 years.

i have absolutely 0 experience with the valve editor but i can attempt 3d models if you guys cant seem to get something the way you want. im decent in 3ds max...I can try anyway. But i get the feeling you guys have it under control. -Karch

except the fact that halo 4 DMR has literally has infinate range effectively, so the game has become a hide and seek fest where people sit on their side of the map and take cover whenever they are about to die. Or that promethean vision is awful. or that there are simply far too many bad grenades (there are a crap ton of grandes that suck compared to previous versions) You can argue whatever you want, but i KNOW im better than 90 percent of halo palyers (and my KD ratio isnt terrible, its like 1.44 or something) but i always end up losing. I always end up fighting a team by myself effectively. i play lone wolf, thats how ive always played, and halo 4 doesnt support that as well as any past halo game did. so tough luck me.

Nothing personal or nothing to do with recent goings ons, just dont really want to be part of any clans ATM. Only been here for a month or 2, only on the server for 5 or so months. Regardless of that time xG is an awesome clan and hopefully can recover from this mess. So yea, ill still be around the servers and stuff, just without being in xG. well with halo 4, theres not much of a contrast of the two. As said above, every halo before reach. Main problem with halo 4 is that there is effectively no skill gap.

You know. the mods and admins on this server are effectively volunteers....and cant be obligated to play JB or something for 4 hours, especially since iits end semester right now...

Let us know how the FX works out, ive been interested in one.
