We have a plugin on CSGO which turns the warden blue but we still have this problem because once the next round starts, the previous warden is still blue.

A sensible judgement would to be enforce the rules. If you don't stick so tightly to the rules, don't penalize the people who break them so harshly then.The thread is about reducing ban times to try to get more new people to stay, not about people who have been playing here for months who are well aware of rules. Pretty much no one actually spends time reading through the rules anyway when they first join and that's pretty evident. To get people to stay you have to be slightly more lenient than the regulars because no one wants to stay on a server where someone bans you the second you come in.

It's not even about reducing ban times, it's about being less ban happy when new people come in. Instead of telling them to go read the rules and banning them instantly, tell them what they did wrong and swap them to T so they can learn. Might just be that they played another JB server with different rules and made a mistake because of what they thought was right. Just use your brain(not you corvo) and come to a sensible judgement instead of sticking so tightly to the rules and then we can have a bit of fun on JB.

If he does this to everyone that messes up/tries to apologize, then i can understand why CSGO is slowly dying.You must have really fucked up then if he doesn't reply to you, even purple gets answered. Just find another channel to sit in, it's not that big of a deal.

LQ's had way too much special treatment from staff and he knows that and even taunted staff to ban him because he knows he'd just get unbanned again. He doesn't even act like he does on xg servers on other JB servers(at least some of them) as he's aware the staff are less likely to respond nicely to being called faggots and badmins.

Too soon, Obama clearly said multiple times that you should not press buttons and yet you stayed right next to them and pressed it when everyone had gone off the black one which meant you killed most of the T team.I didn't hear him. Which i said in the information part.
Even if you didn't hear him, i'm pretty certain you didn't press the buttons by accident.

Pros and Cons of this ideaPROS:
-Can limit the amount of mass free killers, Eg: Many people who come onto the server to mass free kill due it in the first few minutes or so and than they leave, They probably won't stick around for an hour just to MFK
-Can help people learn MOTD. Most people who join and go guard immediately more often then not they will end up unintentionally freekilling because they didn't read motd. I mean I learned MOTD just sticking on T for a few days.
CONS:
-They probably won't learn the entire motd just from the hour ban.
-Depending on how the hour is judged they will just leave and come back after the hour is over and/or if it is total playing time they could just go AFK and wait it out.
-Chances that they would still mass
Had a discussion about this kind of thing a while back for CSGO and it came to the conclusion that it would be useful but most new players would just leave and not come back because they would find it boring on T being killed all the time normally within the first minute of each round.

Actually, he mentioned he mass freekilled, and that was discussing about a CS:S server. So get it right and stop trying to say it isn't fucking meant for a DM.
If he mass freekilled in CS:S, that would VERY MUCH involve CS:S Staff.
You should never take anything M-town says seriously, Penguin couldn't have massed because his play time on CT is 0.

Yes populating is a problem but it isn't the main thing wrong. Even when we have populated to 10-15 people there is not much keeping people playing and making them come back. Also one thing that always happens is staff will slowly but surely move over on to another game which is normally ttt which kills the server population. I still think when we get hub we'll manage to pull in some more dedicated players which will bring it back to how it was.
