    Yep, it is starting to get pretty bad.

     

    Last night I was playing around 7:00 pm and there were a total of four people playing on the server. I play generally pretty late at night, I've brought this up numerous times and people talk about how it's always empty at night. That is simply not true, for the months that I've been playing here, I spent most of it around 12 pm - 2 am PST and there's at least ten people on the server. It's gotten pretty bad lately, probably because of college midterms and such, but I honestly think the server is going way downhill.

     

    For reference, last night while our server had four people playing, five other Jailbreak servers had 10+ players. The HG server had over 40 players. A lot of that may be because they only have one map that they play on, but I think there are things that can be done. I think our map list needs to be combed through, bad maps removed, and better new maps put on. Our rules, while much fairer to Ts then others, are needlessly complicated and inconsistently applied.

    Like Ebic said, it can get really frustrating when you will often come on the server and talk about "badmins" and how we are constantly fucking shit up. Personally, I've only been a mod for a couple weeks now, but I now really realize that it's actually pretty difficult to do this and play the game when half the server is yelling at you...

     

    That said though, I think that you mean good and aren't just trolling for the lulz. You're an active player who is usually in team speak, and I definitely enjoy playing with you. +1 from me.

    Honestly this has been a horrible rule change. What you are basically say is that you can not effectively knife CTs. Considering you have to crouch the entire round, I think that Ts should at least have the ability to immediately drop the gun. I've been killed a few times now for killing a CT, immediately picking up and dropping the gun, then getting killed for it.

    Hey guys, I've just spent a few minutes going through the newly updated rules... and I have to say that it is simply impossible to read. We expect people to join the server and know how to play by our server rules, yet understanding them isn't exactly an easy task.

     

    Note, this is obviously not a replacement for the official rules, but I'm taking some time to go through and try to simplify and clarify the rules that we already have in place. The formatting alone is very irritating to go through, and I've tried already to try and fix that with headings and such. There is a lot of redundancy and overcomplex explanations

     

    Here's the Google Doc for what I have so far. You are able to make comments on sections that can be condensed or made easier to understand. I've only eliminated little redundancies and fixed up the formatting, but I'm planning to make an easier-to-read version of the rules.

    Not necessarily on topic, but that Judge Dorner guys is constantly going on the server and trolling. He spams the chat with bizarre shit, and the screenshots I read don't really surprise me. I wouldn't ban him, but any mod/admin that sees him in game should be prepared for trolling.
