Makr6e6 got a reaction from Aegean in Make Ban Protests Easier
Non-registered posting will certainly be abused as Rhodo mentions.

To state my thoughts on the matter: If people want their spraying privileges back, they should at least make the minimal effort.
Since the rules are plastered on the Loading screen, the MOTD pops-up when people connect, and we give everyone one warning.

However, as I said in Teamspeak. Most people are lazy and the clan-site can be clunky for newbies.
So I'm fine with people going through us, Teamspeak or the steam-group- *for spray bans specifically.

Makr6e6 reacted to Vertex in Morbus Naming Convention Changes
For the past quite some time now, we've been tripping over messy naming conventions within the Morbus weapon files. Every time we do balance changes, improve a weapon or looking through arms files; it's been a struggle digging through messy naming conventions to find what we're looking for. I have decided that enough is enough and all these naming conventions are getting improved immediately.

@Makr6e6 will be taking care of updating all the map arming files with these new changes before everything get merged into our servers. I will take care of fixing up the game-mode to run these new gaming conventions.

    What's Coming Next?

Looking into the last few new me3 weapons and seeing if they are addable.
Fixing the current broken ones that are hidden and not spawning due to errors.
Improving battery weapons to rescale ammo amounts to more reasonable sizes.

A massive run of balancing all these new weapons, as-well as needed old ones.

Posted bellow is a list of the changes made to the morbus weapons.

    Mass Effect 3 Weapon Names

A special note to @Makr6e6. Only use items in the morbus placer, some of these are broke. And these two conventions are random cases which work differently.

p.s. Anyone who asks for weapon names is now officially retarded :p@DoctorGringo

Makr6e6 reacted to Vertex in Faster Server Browser
I have found a faster main menu for gmod which includes all servers, decreases startup times and reduces the overhead of running the game. It looks a lot like the legacy browser, but is well worth the benefits drawn from it; specially, for people who mainly play Morbus on Garry's Mod.

GitHub - robotboy655/gmod-lua-menu: A Lua powered ( No HTML ) main menu for Garry's Mod.

There's still a heavy falsifier happening on those statistics with bad broods. Aliens win a lot of games they end up playing.

With the exception of the shotgun; which, I think is perfect... humans aren't as strong as they should be for late game.

Meh, keep it laying around an option for brood aliens to use. Vitimans are on the same boat for being only useful to humans.

I've already nerfed the vitamins to a random value of eight to eighteen seconds. It takes forever for humans to chomp, it's slower than healing decay.

I've made a few judgments when testing and making these things work on the test server. Nothing should be extremely weak or overpowered.

Makr6e6 reacted to Forest in What's The Point Of Saying "praying For"?
I don't doubt that people use it sarcastically or with a some-what hostile intention, but I actually was referring to its use when people are being genuine and sincere with it in a meaningful way.

It's a well-known and often used phrase that [i'll agree] has sort of lost its translation in this day and age, but I don't think that it should be treated in a negative aspect, even if the one receiving the "prayers" is agnostic/atheist/etc. When someone typically says it during times of struggle or what have you, it's meant to be taken in an empathetic way. Sure, a lot of people will argue "what can I do with your 'prayers'?" but it's the thought that counts, right?

At the same time it's near impossible to determine who is being genuine about it or not, and I can see what Scootaloo is getting at. For instance, a large amount of people who say these sort of things outright on say, FaceBook or Twitter are typically just trying to gain a positive image. While this may be the case for the majority, it by no means suggests that everyone is doing it for that purpose. Think of it this way: they may just be "giving out prayers" for the less fortunate as a way to boost their public status, but at least they're raising awareness in regards to it.

All I'm trying to get at here is that it's just a phrase, albeit one that has lost its translation but is still a general phrase that [nowadays] means "I'm hoping for the best for you".

I understand what you were referring to, and I'm by no means trying to argue. To clarify, my first post was just a comment on why some people react to it harshly and call it out. I also agree that the phrase has lost it's meaning, and social media has become this pissing contest of halo polishing. I'll leave it at that for now, since I don't really expect much discussion in these parts, aside from you.

Thanks for replying and keeping it impersonal.
I look forward to chatting with you again.

I'm an atheist personally, but when people say they'll "pray for you" it typically is the equivalent to "I'm rooting for you/I'm thinking of you." It's a sweet thing to say, no matter what you think of the Christian religion.

Makr6e6 got a reaction from Forest in What Do You Think Femininity Or Feminism Means?
    OP

Femininity (or the feminine) is basically physical and cultural traits we associate with the female sex.
As for feminism, it's always been this sort of opposite to far right conservatism, and christian fundamentalism.

Personally I understand why it as movement exists and why it's still relevant today (raised as a roman catholic pole).
Though I think it, as a political movement, is disingenuous, hypocritical and a threat to important liberties & truths.
Things like due process; innocent until proven guilty, the criminalizing of expression or speech, legal definitions of rapes, etc.

Then there's the egalitarian clap-trap of "50/50" (equality of outcome). Ironically you don't see these people complaining
when the males are falling below that standard. You also won't hear about getting more women (50/50)
in "undesirable" occupations. Simply because people are hardwired with a traditionalist mindset (chivalry or benevolent sexism).

Westerners have this mythology of the past. That the collective known as "women" have had it bad, and "men" have had it good.
The meme of the cavemen pulling their unwilling brides by the hair. No matter how untrue that is. That type of thinking
removes the individual, and collectively puts (dare I say) "privileged" men in the same basket as your average and disadvantaged.

Feminists whom aren't of the man hating persuasion. Tend to be feminists because 1.) it's trendy to masturbate ego via la "I'm a good person" 2. Whom wouldn't advocate for more privileges FOR THEMSELVES? and 3. Chauvinists and the religious view women as baby making machines, and sandwich vendors. "BECUASE FUCK YOU, THIS IS HOW GOD INTENDED IT. GOD DAM IT!!"

Annnyyywaaays, before I disappear. I don't think beauty is "subjective". Sure there's personal tastes and odd kinks.
BUT a lot of what we find beautiful. Is tied to what's familiar and (sexually) attractive for making copies of ourselves.
I don't see how anyone could argue that it is subjective. When things like diseases and oddities are naturally repulsive.
