Clarification for jailbreak cs go or 1.6

CT can only go into open vents. The confusion is whether they need to see a T run in the vent or not. I have heard yes and no many times. I know CTs cannot break vents. Any clarification on this would be appreciated.

 

Scenario: I'm out looking for rebels (after being instructed to do so) and I see an open vent. Can I go in that vent to search for T's?

 

Scenario: I see a T run into a cell with a vent. I go inside cell after the T but he has already gotten in the vent. Can I enter the vent even tho I did not see the T go into it?

And i hope this is the right sub section to post this question.

Regardless, a T is not allow to venture/be inside the vent, and you're allow to pursue the T.

Yep ty both for the response. And i do believe the rules are the same for both games. I knew any t's in vent are considered rebels. I just needed clarification that any CT may enter an open vent. TY BOTH :)

K, if a t breaks vent or knifes it or goes into armory, A ct can pursue him and kill him since its an act of rebellion. Ts in vents are considered rebels because they are not following wardens orders.

issue resolved. as stated previously, Ts cannot be in vents, and it is against rules for a CT to break vents, so a CT going in vents when there are rebels is perfectly fine.
