ItsAaron 1 Posted April 11, 2013 Sorting out every wire behind my pc. Plug modem back in. Carry on working. Smell smoke. See wisp of smoke floating in the air. Discover an orange light glowing in my modem and smell smoke from it. Plugged a 14v 3A charger into my 12v 0.7A modem. Rung up my service provider and said its stopped working somehow and got a free modem on its way! Gonna be slightly inactive.
