    What's New This Month?

    Raffles are out again, we have the newest One Piece game One Piece - Burning Blood | Xeno Gamers, and Goat Simulator Goat Simulator | Xeno Gamers. Be sure to enter in the raffles before time is up, it's totally free!
    TF2 staff will now be required to wear their tags in their name again if they are playing on our servers (instead of just using the chat prefixes). We want you to be proud of having xG in your name while you are administrating our servers (exception to if you are undercover) and we want to revert the changes from a few months ago. Thank you for your understanding!
    Discord as you know has been a huge change for us that I believe has been for the better as we have finally a platform for all our divisions to communicate amongst one other. We want our staff specifically to be more active on it, especially if they asked for their own channels but in the meantime we really enjoy the amount of discussion going on in each of the current text channels. If you have any suggestions to improve our discord, let us know!
    Rust unfortunately did not have enough interest that we hoped for, so we will allocate the resources into CS:GO and hopefully get some more content on that asap!

    Rust + Discord, A Mini Update!

    Discord
    When are we getting a discord server? We now have an official discord server! Discord - Free voice and text chat for gamers Get on our discord first, sync your forum account to discord after you're on, and all your titles from the forums follow you as roles on discord! It's that simple!
     

    For staff who were very adamant about not using teamspeak because it is "outdated" and because it "doesn't have as many features", you are expected to be active on our discord now. We have constantly tried giving incentives to use our teamspeak, but now we were pretty much forced to move to discord to make our community whole.
    That being said, community channels on discord will NOT be sold, we have already given a few voice + text channels for a few staff and members for free, and anyone who wants a channel (even if you're not staff) is expected to be active on those channels, or they will be removed for wasting space.
    Anyone who bought teamspeak channels will get exclusive badges for the forums, and something special on discord in the future. (will be discussed among higher ups first) Active members on discord will earn credits on the forums as well very soon.

    /remove enabled, which lets you remove things in your own house if you placed it + if you have access to the cupboard in your area.

    School's back.




    What's New This Month?

    Banner's theme is a teaser to the next raffle, can you guess what it is?
    Raffles right now are NBA2k17 NBA 2K17 | Xeno Gamers + Poker Night 1&2 Poker Night 1 & 2! | Xeno Gamers. Make sure you enter!
    Minecraft is temporarily turned off to the public until we can make all the fixes necessary so guests, members and staff can play without issues again. Server is scheduled to open beginning of September.
    Ratings now include Furry, Losing It, Make xG Great Again, Gross, and Random. We will also be removing the Fuck Off rating, after discussion with the higher ups and getting feedback from various members about ratings. #TheResistance prevails for now and Fuck Off will not be removed.
    TF2 Rotation Server is being fully funded and managed by @Bone! Have any ideas on what game mode we should try out? Gamemode Rotation Thread | Xeno Gamers The main idea of the server will be trying out and keeping any game modes that are popular to be a permanent addition to xG.
    TF2 Donator Abuse rules have been clarified by @Bello, for any donators or staff of TF2, I would definitely recommend reading it. PSA: Punishing Donator aboose | Xeno Gamers
    CS:GO revival has begun, we got new staff and will now focus on activity these upcoming months. Be sure to join us for evening jailbreak or minigames shenanigans, with surprise guest appearances by our joke day master @DrLee.

    What's Coming Up Soon?

    A new Youtube channel will be made for xG, expect this within the next week.
    More community events + tournaments (not only games we have servers for) with custom badges! Have any ideas? Post a suggestion in General!
    Will look into getting streams featured by xG more detailed (i.e. only xG members) + we will provide stream banners, offline pages etc. Any designers interested in helping out may message me for more info.

    Bots and Giveaways

    Donation Bot


     
    You can donate items and turn them into credits on the website!
     
    In order to utilize the bot (including being eligible for giveaways), you simply need to click here and enter your Steam ID and Trade URL!
     
    Once that is done, you can go get details about the bot by clicking here.
     
    Simply go to the profile of the bot and Add As Friend to send it a trade and it will go from there!
     
    Before any trade offer is accepted it will tell you how many credits you will receive for the items you have offered and you can accept or deny it on your discretion. I don't want anyone to feel like they lost their items by accident so that is why I made it like that.
     
    For donations of items, you will get 80% of the total cost and this can be adjusted as needed.
     
    I will be adding further features in the future based on requests and general needs! Some of the features include a fully automatic donation system so items can be accepted once more with complete automation, as well as maybe a trading system of sorts!
     

    Giveaways


     
    Giveaways will now be automatically happening on the servers with donated items!
     
    A giveaway will happen automatically every hour as long as there are enough linked players on that server.
     
    All items donated will be given away on the servers to help incentivize people to continue playing on our servers and boost population!
     
    It is currently being tested on Trade Gaming History but if successful it will be rolled out to various other servers!
     
    The item reward you can get is based on the number of players on the server. The more players, the higher tier item you can get. If the server is completely full you have the change to get the most premium items in the bots inventory.
     
    For sake of being transparent, here is a general explanation about the selection process:
    It will gather a list of all users on the server and check if their Steam account and Trade URL are linked to the forum. At least four players must be linked. Then it will choose the tier based on the number of linked users and begin the giveaway from there. Players are chosen randomly and there is zero weight being applied to anyone. If there are enough linked players where multiple tiers can be viable, it will choose a random tier from the list of eligible ones. No tier has any weight attached to it so the rare items are just as obtainable as the crappy ones.
     
    Remember: awful items are due to people donating awful things so don't treat the bot as a trashcan!
     
    The tiers available are as follows:
     
    Cool
    Player Range | 4 - 8 players
    Price Range | $0.05 - $1.00
     
    Nice
    Player Range | 8 - 14 players
    Price Range | $1.00 - $1.75
     
    Sweet
    Player Range | 15-22 players
    Price Range | $1.75 - $3.50
     
    Awesome
    Player Range | 23 - 30 players
    Price Range | $3.50 - $15.00
     
    God
    Player Range | 31+ Players
    Price Range | $15.00+
     

    Conclusion


     
    Overall, I hope that this helps get players onto the servers as well as helps us populate new ones much quicker than before and that we have giveaways that actually happen and don't rip off players like other servers and communities like to do.
