Alright guys I'm just going to get this out here i have a pretty good proposition for you. This thread will mainly be targeted @Haxx @SuperMaddud and @Rhododendron Alright this is the state of xG minecraft as of now - dead and under construction. I've been talking to my buddy named Wonkee he used to run a minecraft server for quite a long while. Was maybe one of the best servers I've played on in mc but that's besides the point. What I've been talking to him about is that our mc division is pretty ehh, and pretty much dead right now, and I asked him if he'd be interested in helping run it / manage the division along side others. Before i go further i will say- We have tried this before we tried merging vindicraft(wonkees server) and xenogamers together, It did not work out due to conflict between silences childish acts and Wonkee's players on teamspeak. no need to go further then this. Moving on- A few things about vindicraft. It was a heroes/pvp/factions/questing server. with a few other plugins like custom items, mob arena, treasure chests etc. What happened to vindicraft? Basically the plugin "heroes" is run by dickheads and decided to break the plugin for every one and not tell server owners how to fix it. Simply put vinidcraft died in population after maintaining 60+players for months on ends. Mkay i'll try and wrap this up- Basically i approched wonkee and said " [spoiler=Wonkee/rabid Steamchat]Rabid: remake vindicraft. Rabid: heroes/fac/mobarena/auc Wonkee: ok Rabid: I actually could maybe possibly get you a mc server to do it on, xG has a mc division and like a 8gb/16gb machine not sure which, the current admins/leaders of it suck dick Rabid: would depend weather or not if u wud want to do it. Wonkee: yea Wonkee: i had been thinking about it Rabid: I'll talk around and keep u updated. We went on to talk about what plugins or what direction we would want to take the server in if this happens. We said- Let's just make a multi verse server for now, Have 1 server be factions or towny depending on what people want, with mcmmo, floauction, and a couple other basic plugins that are needed. While we work on a separate server with Heroes,Questing,Factions,Mob arenas, Dungeons so on. Conclusion: Tell me what you boys think? Do you think we could re-ignite the vindicraft light while also taking of xenogamers mc? Wonkee has plenty of experience and this would be exactly what xG mc needs I believe Of course there would have to be some talking over, and i'm happy to be the bridge between conversations, or arrange a teamsepak chat. I'll weigh in. start from the beginning When i got on the spawn was coming along, supermadud had been making things and shit some people where helping with spawn, people with admin / gm1 started going out and building their own bases for some reason, so this caused for a map restart. Kirito was supposed to world edit copy spawn and paste it into the new one he failed to do that cause he has no idea what he is doing. Which i mean no offense to him. So on the new map people who were admin/mod and still had access to game mode, made quite possibly the worst looking spawn i ever seen, it was notcentered not themed, and just plain fucking garbage. Literally a first grader could have done better. So when seeing this spawn and seeing people constantly on the server but not working on spawn, I started b*tching and trying to get people to change it, while kirito "worked on plugins" i put quotes cause he has no idea what he's doing. eventually after enough bitching @FoRgE and a couple of his buddies came to spawn and started working on it. eventually it got pretty decent and was deemed "finished" just no shops. At this time the only thing that really needed to be done was finish shops and finish fixing permisions / plugins , During this time there was still some people breaking rules and using game mode to make their bases, after enough b*tching the people using game mode stopped and deleted said bases, their was just about 8 or so people on and every one was making their town and so on. It came to a point where there was a few towns, but broken permisions / incomplete plugins set up properly which kirito tried fixing, and any time something was not able to be fixed or it became broke he rolled back the server to a save, deleting peoples progress, evenetually he did this enough to comeptely take away peoples towns claims, this waged griefing/d*cking around which where the "somalia" sh*t show happened. Basically long story short Minecraft is causing more drama then needed cause people who have mod/admin have no idea what they're doing with it and just abuse it, and kirito is a horrible minecraft divlead/manager, but at least he tried and i'll credit him for that.
