The original caretaker of the animals let them out then offed himself, apparently. It's very sad that they were killed, but in the case that people had been hurt it would have been much worse.

Tazers are a great way to warn a T without actually killing them. God forbid we kill someone for going against orders but since most people like to cause feuds and cry about it, its has its usefulness. Plus verbal warnings sometimes aren't enough to get the point across.

I'd recommend playing on the servers a little more and reading MOTD to better familiarize yourself with rules and unspoken rules first. Then i'll +1

100% Agree. Also, as said previously, introducing one or two new maps at a time doesn't always cut it. If we had a week or so with ALL brand new maps, I'd enjoy that quite a bit :)

Makes sense. I wasn't thinking that someone would do that. And generally i'll say warden kills only if I suspect one of the CTs may kill the wrong person and I want to prevent that. Then I have more confidence in my fellow CTs i'll just let them do it if they have a better shot.

I was told by Trif that when you play surprise trivia you MUST type out the prize in CT chat. Now, some CTs are derps and forget when the warden says "Warden kills only" One thing I did today was try saying warden kills only, but NOT typing the answer. That way only I know the prize. Now, this could go either way, but at least when the CTs dont know the prize they may be more reluctant to kill a terrorist, as it could easily be a freekill. I guess the counter argument for this would be that if a CT is going to not pay attention and kill someone it may not matter if I tell them the prize or not, though I find that not saying makes them more hesitant. Your thoughts?

To my knowledge the "I'm new" excuse doesn't save anyone. The ticker will often say "Read MOTD or be kicked", which is some of the best advice anyone can be given on this server. Also, the best way to make CTs better, I find, is just communicate. Sometimes CTs dont call warden because they think its too daunting, or are afraid of being complained about. What you could do is call warden, play a game, and then allow them to step in and do something small on the side involving an activity. This may allow them to experience a small part of being a warden, or a good CT in general. This may help to ease them into a position they are more comfortable in.

If this guy is surprised that the admins aren't the best at getting around to slaying freekillers, he is clearly too new to the sever to be joining xG. -1

Im talking about other people doing it, and the admins take no action. I dont want them to slay, so much as just say "Keep the orders clear and dont say them super fast". Not too keen on having to sit out a long round because I couldnt understand what the orders meant.

As a side note, admin disrespect is not the same as saying that an admin/mod is a bad warden. I'll also say that respect is earned, not given or bought. Chances are if you get admin/mod in the first place you carry some level of respect within the community in the first place. But if you act in a way that causes the community to occasionally reflect a loss of respect, crying admin disrespect isn't really the best way to go about it. Also, i'm in heavy support of the votekick/ban idea with VIPs. I often play early in the morning when pretty well 95% of the admins/mods are at school or at other duties, and the amount of freekilling and lack of following the rules is painful to bear.

No, I dont ACTUALLY plan on being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by doing the same thing that I complained about, at least for the sake of being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the same way. I'm not going to be a hypocrite over something that irritates me THAT much. More so what rabid said, but I wont follow through on the killing business. Just really wish that something in MOTD could more properly outline how to give orders to prevent things like this happening.

Ok, so apparently even if I repeat my orders, I can say them super fast to the point where people can't keep up, and only repeat twice. Happened earlier today, the two mods and admin that were on did nothing. Sorta reminds me of the whole "no limit to how many people you could kill in a trivia question" thing before MOTD was fixed. Anyways, if this could please be addressed, that would be nice. Otherwise i'm going to do the exact same thing until someone makes a change.
