actually vanillagrape came on a month and a half ago and was wondering wtf happened to his mod powers, and came on the next day as well but hasn't been on since.

The idea is that the DL runs the server with access to update things, and change out maps etc. as listed in his/her description. whereas the DM is strictly in game, and the reason they "don't have access" is because that is not what their job entails. when i say i don't have access, is because silence took it away for the time being until situation is resolved. thus leaving only silence and i believe brian may still have access.

+1 although to make a few more things clear, As a div leader, I don't have access to giving out powers in sourcebans, this is all run through sourcebans. the only people who have powers to do that are Cos, and silence respectively. and for good reason, because if we had access to that, and someone got upset, all they have to do is point and click to remove powers without actually getting shit straight. also, EZ is one hundred percent correct in his statements, HOWEVER I would like to add that if guncheck freeze is used in a valid way before cells open i.e. take a step out and guncheck freeze when cells open cuz yolo. then it does provide a valid order before they are opened, and prevents an uncalled freeday. and now this. This is the real issue at hand in this thread as presented, not what CSGO staff (wrongly) believes something means even though it is defined clearly. please keep your +1 or -1 to that and keep in mind what the ACTUAL rule is when giving a +1 or -1.

I have to agree with this statement. There are several secrets on the map that eric and gkoo put in. there are ways to rebel other than going into armory getting a gun and killing CTs. there are some vents and teleports with guns, or just passage ways to get around something without being seen. as well as one or two things i found testing it. ;) hell, one time i went through one and came out, then went behind the CTs and knifed 3 before they caught on, then there were none up top left to shoot me before I made my escape! One does not always need an m4 ak or awp out of armory to rebel. a simple knife is sufficient! or if you blow at CSS and can't knife, there are always large bombs.

if guncheck freeze implies taking a step out, why do we say "take a step out and guncheck freeze"?

+1 He is a great kid, he knows the MOTD and strives to uphold it as a member. Completely agree with serbian, he should have been mod a while ago, but he went majorly inactive. To those giving a -1 because he 'spammed' for 100 posts. think to yourself, if you had been here for a year and decided you wanted to finally step up and try to get mod, but only had 87 posts, what would you do? Also, keep in mind that having a lower post count is perhaps a good thing. maybe the person with the low post count who has been here for a while now is low for a reason, like he/she only posted when there was reason to post (until the last 10ish posts) and had a valuable input. LostCause has been around for a while and is an overall great player to be around, my suggestion would be for all those who gave a 0 or -1 because he 'spammed' to think it through for more than the 2 seconds it took to think out the words 'oh he spammed lololololol' and change to a +1 or -1 based on what you see him as, and what you see him do.

Sounds familiar..... Also, refer to starbucks post, for the 20th time. it isn't my job to code/fix plugins, but I was taking it upon myself and teaching myself how to so I could fix issues. But that shit doesn't come easily.

Fantastic, last time we spoke, he told me he knew a guy who could perhaps fix it, but when I asked him to send me some information to contact him etc. he never responded. which is what I have said numerous times.

When you have issues connecting to a server that other players can, then it can be a whole slew of issues, so basic troubleshooting like above is probably one of your best bets. my first option would be to verify the integrity like @@arussian said.

I know. And I can do that myself. except I cannot put it on the server. Last time I tried the update, it failed to compile when I did it myself for some reason.

We actually already have that on our servers. the version prior, and when you press Get Plugin so you can get the updated version, you get this error: Plugin failed to compile! Please try contacting the author. P.S. Databomb is Starbuck, that was the issue that came when the plugins broke and we tried updating them. it didn't compile correctly. That's why we don't have an updated version of it on. and had there not been an issue it would have been on the server. I would try re-compiling it again myself through the Source, and testing it on server but I cannot do that right now.

As can I, I don't have fancy shmancy screenshots of conversations nor voice recordings of things said, I am just going to rely on people being able to trust me in what I say, in hopes that they can trust me, after all that i have done in my attempts to help the community. Especially considering you blatantly misquoted what I said in steam chat and your own screenshot proves such. and as such my "It was closed" at the time it was closed, I am fairly confident in saying that it was closed when I went and looked at it later that night. but hey who knows, either it wasn't closed and I was mistaken. or it was closed, and you with forum mod just re-opened it. Now I doubt the second part, as I don't think you would do such a thing and I would be more inclined to believe it was a mistake on my part. but those are the two options. And in response to you wanting other regulars from CS:GO to respond. by all means, please respond. infact it is better you respond. to get any other issues you may have out of the way. but keep in mind that I am overlooking some of these responses or portions of the response in which you guys say things along the lines of "plugins are broken and you aren't doing anything about it." because I already responded to that, and to add to my response. Either you can come forward and give me the information so i can get in contact with your friend who supposedly a coder, to see about getting a sort of payment if he were to work on our server. or you yourself try to go learn how to code, because it isn't an easy task, also @@DarkNova in conjunction with this, if someone gave you information on a "friend being able to code for a few bucks" even if I already asked them for more info to be sent to me, you should have done your job, and passed on that info to me as your DL when you are DM. but you seem to have not done your job there either. And RPGs ( @@Salt ), I will take one medium, and Aegean ( @Pepper ) a dribble will suffice.
