Also, technically speaking, yes, if this were 'real life jail', I'm almost certain that before leaving your position to pursue someone who may or may not be hostile you would let your superiors/fellow guards know.. But then again, I've never had that experience, so I'm not 100% sure on that.

Well, let's take a look at what the MoTD Rules states since there's so much discussion over this topic. Alright so, keep in mind what Camping is defined as. Now, the 'Vent' rule states that a CT or T cannot camp a teleport. Because it is not as detailed as it could be, I'm seeing a lot of bending and twisting here. What I'm seeing here are two entirely different Variations on this combination of rules, which are the following: Argument 1: Camping is defined as being within 10 feet of the same area for more then 15 seconds. The 'Vent' rule states that a CT or T cannot camp a Teleport. Therefore, what it means is that a CT or T cannot be within 10 feet of the vent/teleport (with the intention of preventing Rebels) for more then 15 seconds as this would be considered "Vent Camping". Argument 2: Camping is defined as being within 10 feet of the same area for more then 15 seconds. The 'Vent' rule states that a CT or T cannot camp a Teleport. Because there is no specification on the distance between the 'campee' and the vent/teleport, it is implied that you can still be "Vent Camping" from across the map with a scoped rifle if you are not moving from the same 10 foot area within 15 seconds. Mind you this is all that I've gathered from the other posts in this thread so correct me if I'm wrong. Got the nickname 'Forest' due to my constant obsession with wearing a ghillie suit whenever I went out airsofting with friends. It's completely up to you Pinoy, if you feel you haven't been fulfilling your position then it's perfectly understandable if you want to step down. Being a DM does require a lot from us, and some just aren't up to the task of dealing with it all. Noticed this wasn't here before, so I assume it is your question. If so, then No, you are not allowed to play Simon Says before 5:00, even if you don't tarp for reasons stated above. After all, why would you want to play Simon Says before 5:00 if you can't tarp at all when it's a tarp game?

After considering what Vector has said, and after looking over your rather brief ban history, I will +1 for a shortened ban length. According to your ban history, you haven't been CT banned for anything as of recent over a period of three months, which means you most likely have an understanding of the MoTD Rules (or have been busy). People don't seem to understand that there are many reasons why we want players who are active on Team Speak. It's not only because we just want more activity on it. Team Speak can help in the following ways: 1. You are more likely to become better known 2. You can contact Staff Members whenever needbe 3. More people on Team Speak = better for us 4. Requirement for a higher rank 5. Attracts more players to your application as they will get a better opinion on you without you having to advertise

He means an Application for smart phones/tablets, not a form/application you fill out that most people here are thinking of.

Banlist for the player. @Vector for his take on this. You should be more aware of the chat mate, as that is how several of our Mods/Admins contact the players. Seldom comes the time where we have to use our mic to address a problem.

#OrlyWellInThatCaseStillOpenForDebate Didn't see a time-limit in Ban Protest guidelines, so I figured it could just be whenever. Also just to add onto my first post, he was only banned for being in the WD Steam Group, nothing else. Unless told otherwise by one of our Higher-Ups, just going to keep him unbanned rather then muck up his ban-list by banning Again only to be unbanned later.

I still don't quite understand the reasoning. Is it because the chances of getting through the vent/tele are higher if the 'campee' is scoped in rather then being directly outside of it with an automatic?
