  1. Again, I can't edit posts as I do not have Forum powers any longer. The only time I can edit posts is like everyone else, within 5 minutes of it being posted. So unless I get some sort of special privilege, don't expect any more updates or edits from myself :(
  2. I said I was going to CT ban this player, and by god it's going to happen. The proof is there, and he has yet to be dealt with. I will not be sound of mind until he has been CT banned for a day, regardless if he still plays. No one slips through the cracks, not when I'm around. :beaver:
  3. @@Gkoo @@DarkWolf6052 If you guys could CT ban (1440) this player for breaking rules (old thread, I know, but doing some clean-up) it'd be greatly appreciated. I never got around to doing it as I was never on when the player was on. But from what I know, you can now CT ban through SourceBans (whereas you couldn't before), so if you could do that it'd be greatly appreciated! 5. Verdict? Thread has been open for a while, should be closed if nothing will be done about it. Doing some late-night clean up is all. (Not sure who to tag here, soooo...) @@serbiansnaga

    Heyy

Welcome to the community mate! Forest here, Moderator of the CS:S Division (most often found on CS:S Jailbreak). You'll most likely see me around at one point or another if you play on our CS:S servers; otherwise I hope you enjoy being here! I (strongly) suggest hopping on our TeamSpeak server every now and then, as it is a great way to make friends and meet a bunch of our other Members! If you're ever planning on joining, feel free to scroll to the top of the site and click on "Forms" to fill out a Member Submission where you will be evaluated by our Members to determine whether or not thou art worthy to wear the xG tag! All that aside, if you have any questions concerning the CS:S Server (mostly pertaining to Jailbreak) you can contact me through Forums, Steam, or through TeamSpeak. Cheers! - Dat guy, Forest
  9. I never specified at what time of day, but yes, he was on at that time, but he d/ced afterwards due to a storm.
  10. Just posting this to let everyone know that LostCause will be inactive due to a storm knocking out his internet yesterday. He says that it will hopefully be fixed by next week, so don't expect to see him around for a bit. Just a heads up! @@DarkWolf6052 @@Gkoo
  11. Welcome to the xG community mate! I'm Forest, currently a Moderator of the CS:S Division and frequenter of the CS:S Jailbreak server. I'll see you around, and hope you have a great stay! (Be sure to check out our TeamSpeak server as well to make new friends) - Dat guy, Forest

    Problems?

Implying that a Community Night has to be a "one-man-show". There isn't anything wrong with asking Higher-Ups if they're available to help out with the whole affair, let alone any other Staff Members of a higher rank. As said earlier by Chrono, it doesn't Have to benefit the players by earning credits. It could just be a fun night, a get together, etc. Just takes a little initiative is all. Recently I tried to get a Fundraiser going, but got too sidetracked with school (this was when I was a moderator, still am). Anything that involves the community can help out

  15. What no one seems to get or realize, is that if you people keep living in the past by saying "This guy got off scot-free, why shouldn't this guy" then we aren't going to get anywhere and we might as well remove permanent bans. I don't know how many times I've had to bring up the fact that these are two entirely different situations, and therefore cannot be compared but here I go again: 1. This was an intentional mass freekill, it was done with the intention of breaking rules, and Lapis was completely aware of his actions. It was in no way, accidental. 2. Warrior, on the other hand, did something as he thought it was the right thing to do. He did it with the intention of Enforcing rules which could have been done in a different way, but the intention was to "maintain the peace". He was in no-way smiting everyone because he wanted to nor did he do it with the intention of trolling/screwing everything up. It just so happens that what he did was a terrible idea, but whether or not it was stupid, it is not the same thing. I don't mean to muck up this thread with this, but seriously; you people gotta draw the line and stop coming up with excuses to allow someone to get unbanned. As much as I love Lapis, he intentionally broke the rules for the sole purpose of doing it, he knew what his actions would warrant, and therefore he should be punished accordingly. Just because someone else is 1-up'ing for the reason that "other people have done it and got away with it" doesn't mean you should automatically agree for the same reason. TL;DR - Stop comparing a Mass Freekill to the incident with Warrior's "smite@all". I won't say stop being biased as that's almost impossible, but I will suggest to at least try to stop. @@DarkWolf6052 @@Gkoo @@HighSociety - Dat guy, Forest

  18. Very active frequenter of the CS:S Jailbreak server (from what I've seen), never seems to create any problems nor instigate any unwanted situations or scenarios and is enjoyable to have around. Up till now, I still have not seen any reason why he shouldn't be an xG member. He's both polite and pleasant to be around, and I honestly think he'd make a great addition to the clan. A: 7/10 - As I said, he is a frequenter of the CS:S Jailbreak server, and is on often enough to be rewarded with the xG title. I will however note that being on TeamSpeak is not only a great way to make friends (as well as a requirement), but makes it much easier to contact a Staff Member whenever called for. I strongly suggest getting on TeamSpeak every now and then. Activity is almost where it should be. M: 8/10 - Never seems to cause any sort of trouble on the server, nor does he argue or discuss with Staff Members regarding any problems or rules. Also doesn't react to disrespect or insults in a way that would jeopardize his xG-name (in other words, doesn't troll/harass back and keeps a calm attitude). Maturity is where it should be. D: +1 ShyGuy would make a great addition to the ever-growing xG family, and I don't think he'll tarnish the tag of 'xG' at any point. Good luck on the remaining 1-ups! - Dat guy, Forest

    Problems?

@@Hidingmaster, it's virtually impossible to determine who posted unless the person who posted said they posted (Dat alliteration). Unless you want to go through each and every Member's profile, chances are you won't find out who the person is. I would know, as I've tried to find out who posted something in that section of the forums to no avail. Point is, so long as the person who posted does not give out any specific information about the thread to friends (making it obvious) then I don't think there should be too much of a problem. Granted, you can find the information of someone posting there in their previous posts on their Profile page, but again, it is incredibly difficult to track down said person unless they hint at it.

    Anonymous reporting

Some sort of notification that alerts the Division Managers (Or even Division Leader) for the respective Division and displays a "Preview" of the thread would be a great addition (if possible) before it is accepted. +1 for the implementation of this. We had the right idea with an Anonymous section, but the ability to post threads with no restrictions ended up destroying the whole concept and idea.
