actually.... im kind of learning how to code and yea Div Leader material right here.
-
If the Staff Members who were on at the time can vouch that it was done under confusion and was a complete misunderstanding, then I don't see why a shortened ban isn't in order. Just be aware of the Warden's orders, and be especially careful if you were afk. The best thing to do is to ask what is going on before shooting left, right, and centre. +1 for a shortened ban.

Gentlemen, the time has come. The time has come to learn how to code. .. What, no, I'm not doing that shiz. Cuss on that. I don't know nothin' bout coding.

I don't agree with [nor condone] mass intentional freekilling. Whether it was for shits and giggles, or done upon a "no balls" request, the intention to do it was there. You're a great guy Trin, but I made a recent vow to treat every Ban Protest with the unbiased truth of the matter at hand. You Intentionally mass freekilled, you knew the consequences of your actions (as do most who do it) yet you continued to do so. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not spiting you in any way, I'm just doing my job as part of the Staff of XenoGamers. My decision is a -1, as will it be with any other player/member who is naive enough to mass freekill and expect to be unbanned. If you people want to carry on this legacy of the "But this guy did this and got away with it" then you might as well remove permanent bans. Hell, you might as well not deal out punishments while you're at it. Regarding this ordeal of "Warrior freesmited @all, why shouldn't he be punished?", to that, I say the following, as I did in a previous thread: At this rate, the more you unban permanent CT bans that are perfectly valid, the more you're implying "It's okay to mass freekill only once, everyone gets the one free of charge and won't be punished." - Dat guy, Forest

+1 for a shortened ban. Although he did intentionally mass free knife (7+ Ts were damaged) and baited, he did not Kill any of them. (Btw, almost 100% sure you were left-knife clicking, as you definitely would have killed a few via back knife with right-knife clicking. You were knifing pretty fast too.)

Finally found a balance between my personal life and XenoGamers, so expect to see me far more active in the CS:S Division. Just thought I'd let everyone know! Let the good times rooooooooll. - Dat guy, Forest

So, you were banned under the reasoning "Freekiller" by our very own @@Rhododendron. (Click Here for ban list) I've also noticed this is your one and only offence on your banlist, but this normally happens with those who aren't aware of the rules for our Server or, in this case, a misunderstanding happens. Just have to wait for his opinion before anything can be established unless any other Staff Members were on during the time. - Dat guy, Forest
-
If that's honestly what happened and Staff Members saw it happen, then I don't see why a shortened ban shouldn't be considered. The reason we have Ban Protests is exactly for these sorts of situations. Quite honestly, it's a good thing you immediately posted a Ban Protest while the "scene of the crime" is still fresh in a lot of our Staff Member's minds. -1 for an immediate unban, but +1 for the consideration of a shortened ban (only if the whole thing was unintentional) - Dat guy, Forest

@@DarkWolf6052 @@Gkoo @@PiNoYPsYcHo @@HighSociety Going to keep mentioning you guys until you edit the MoTD and state that you've done so on this thread so it can be closed and be marked as resolved. It literally takes 30 seconds to Copy+Paste the rule into the MoTD under a heading of "Rebel Hunting" or whatever. Is there some sort of problem or something that's preventing this from being pushed through?

Whatchu talkin' about

I can understand it gets annoying, but you have to keep in mind we are moderating the servers (or at least should be) whenever we're on, so sometimes it merely slips our mind. It isn't fair to call us out on it when it isn't completely our responsibility nor duty to count the days between Special Days. But if you're pointing out Staff Members who are playing as a T or CT to relax and just play casually with a side of moderating, then by all means call them out on it (they are more involved in the rounds and should therefore know). But like I said, making a thread specifically to mock/demean us as Staff Members isn't exactly respectful. I mean, you can let us know we need to do a better job without saying:
-
I apologize if our Staff Members have more important things to do such as scouting for rule breakers, dealing with said-rule breakers, or resolving any conflicts/arguments that may or may not be going on. I also apologize that we clearly aren't doing a good job as "official special day counters" since no other player is capable of doing so, and it is obviously our job to keep track. And as my fifth point, I apologize that we can't count. You don't have to make a thread and mock us m8. - Dat guy, Forest
-
Yeah, I have to say, what gives? DMs are all in agreeance, so throw the rule in there and let all the Staff Members know it has been implemented via xG Leadership Event/Announcements or something. @@DarkWolf6052 @@PiNoYPsYcHo @@Gkoo @@HighSociety

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEqmkduIeMU! I'm sorry but the amount of goosebumps this trailer gave me is ridonk. Still a shame that David Hayter won't have a role to play (or will he?) in this game. What is xG's opinion on this game? Think it'll succeed in becoming the most sought after MGS game in the series? I'm So stoked for this game, it's not even funny. Warning: Does contain spoilers (obviously) as well as graphic material.

I'm not entirely sure what's being shown here.. Is this text implying that Jordo gave a freeday if everyone picked #2 for map choice?
-
Looks like an absolutely amazing map! A lot of effort is clearly shown in it, and the map games look great! Very nice job mate, 10/10 would Warden on.

Most common and frequent order that ends up with the most freekills is this: "When cell doors open, take a step out and afk freeze. Do this by 'X amount of time'" (X amount of time goes by) "Okay, kill anyone who is facing cells." (CTs get CT banned/slain left, right and centre for freekilling) Problem being, ass-hat didn't specify a direction. :bucktooth:

As Pep already said, we already have a DeathRun server. If Members dedicated their time to a certain server that they themselves enjoy for an extended period of time, then there is a possibility of more players joining. Adding new servers won't solve anything when we have a large number already that are almost always empty. In order for our servers to receive the slightest bit of attention, you need: 1. Members/Players to fill in the slots for it to look appealing. 2. Players who are fun to hang around with and who make the server that much more enjoyable. 3. Finally, the Players/Members need to dedicate a good chunk of their free time to keeping the server populated in order for it to succeed. Normally we can get the first two no problem, but we're lacking members with the capability of sitting on the server nearly all day to ensure population. Hub is merely a Perk that (I admit) will increase the amount of players joining, but it's not a necessity. - Dat guy, Forest

Welcome to the xG community mate! I'm Forest, currently a Moderator of the Counter-Strike: Source Division. You'll see me around on the Jailbreak server (not a lot as I am currently inactive). Hope you enjoy your stay bud!
-
I- You- FUCK. It's a shame to see you resign mate, you did a great job as a staff member and were great to hang around with. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours though, hope to see you around some time in the future! - Dat guy, Forest

???????????????? Meaning that he has prior experience with running things and would like to help out.
-
It was working, but for reasons unknown it just stopped halfway, don't know what happened with that. Like Gawd already brought up, something like this requires dedicated Members/Players who want to take charge of it and organize it, they can't quit halfway through and need to set their priorities straight. It also helps to have several people involved in getting it going because not only can they give their input, but they can help schedule teams and evenly distribute the work-load so you aren't crushed under all the organization and decisions. +1 to have another go at it, it doesn't hurt to have more events like these - Dat guy, Forest

As Jordo said, not everyone's going to find something disrespectful, just like not everyone has the same capability of taking criticism or insults. If you [in general] don't find it insulting, good for you, but it wasn't directed at you and therefore you don't have the right to be saying "Oh well, it's not disrespect". Warrior clearly took offence, and it's pretty obvious as to why that is. A stern talking-to should be in order here, and it better not just be a slap on the wrist. - Dat guy, Forest

Two midterms on the same day followed by a Business Presentation I have to give. Glorious.
