Hello! I am currently creating a surf map and am looking for suggestions from more experienced mappers. Currently, due to how I have my storage set up, I cannot use CS:GO Source SDK. Instead, I can only make CSS maps. Things I need help with: I would like someone to explain to me how to port a CSS map to CSGO. How to set up teleporters. How to set up spawns correctly. (It currently says that both CT and T teams are full.) Suggestions: (Please suggest ideas for the following, I am open for change) Map name: surf_charles (Only a temporary name.) Theme: Wood Tier: 1 Stage #: 5 Bonus #: 2 Beta testers: (Apply down below, only accepting people who can someone surf or is willing to learn. Only accepting 3 members from here.) Charles CS:GO Staff 1. Bonk 2. 3. Also, beta testers name WILL be included at the end of the map in the credits! If you are applying I want constructive criticism, trolls will be eliminated from the project and will not be featured in the credits. If this project goes well, I will make some exclusive xG surf and JB maps.

No, the version is still running 1.17. In 1.18 it shows your record AND the SR on the timer panel. The bots also have trails.

The new version of the plugin isn't running. (I found installing the beta version made it work, but I don't know.)

ckSurf has released a new update, 1.18. It would be nice if you guys could update to it. Updating may also fix the problems with the record bot.

Not currently, no. I removed it about two weeks ago when payment was a problem.

I recommend restarting the server once making changes to cksurf.cfg if you haven't yet. You can also enable it in-game with !ckadmin. Might help with testing. :3

@Snackbar I'm sorry that you feel that way, and I find it interesting how you can hold a grudge and be so immature as to not judge people by their overall personality, and not one way that they acted at one point. And as for an end goal to cause a disturbance. What are you even talking about? Explain to me how applying to join this community could cause any disturbance that would satisfy me in anyway? Just doesn't make any since to me.

I'm not applying because I'm "good at surf", I'm applying because I like how the counter strike community isn't dead anymore. And by being meaningful I like to think me recommending people to come and helping people get better at the game mode is meaningful enough. I like to think if people get better at surfing, they'll actually come on the server.

You guys (Lithium, other DL/DM) should add the replay bot to the server that way I won't have to be on to show people how to beat the map. Also, surf_imagine crashes the server at the end. ;3

I'm being serious, and if you feel that I'm still a racist troll, go ahead and -1 . And if there are no admins on to see if I really am qualified, admins should start going on the server. >.>

Another idea would be to fix the timeleft so that the map can end. Every time I'm on the server, the map goes on indefinitely until rtv'd.

Can one of you boys with FTP add some more surf maps? If you really need, I can provide 80+ more if you're willing to make it a little bit harder. And the extra difficulty may bring more/better players to the server. It's getting a bit boring repeatedly doing the same maps over and over and OVER again. :3
