My opinion isnt a popular one, so I may receive hate for this, if always been one to speak my mind however. I feel that the core value xG holds is respect. Respect for boundaries and respect for each other. We don't tolerate bad behaviour because this is a clan built on morals and ethics. I have known snowy for a while now, however I have only seen two sides to her: the rule enforcing side which is fine and well, and the more abrasive side. I considered looking past it, as maybe I am missing a piece of the puzzle, However when I retracted my vote to consider her a tad more, not to say no, just to think, she disrespected my desition, and claimed it boring. These symbols are in the negative section, which is where my problem is. The amount of negative reflects what quality of a person I am and she knew this and used this as apposed to waiting out my response. And it is this that makes me feel she does not respect me.

There are times however where they are rude to the other players. It is understandable to get frustrated, but that doesn't justify rude behaviour. -1 to neutralize my older comment as I ponder this a bit.

The same can be said about any slur. The N word for instance more often than not offends no one. However xG takes no chances regarding the comfort of its members and I feel we should not exclude people suffering from ASD. I feel the word itself isn't bad, but the context it usually falls under. I suggest if we hear jokes using this disorder in a negative light, that the same procedures be done as with any other slur. Members of xG are always around to keep others in line when other slurs are used, and I'm sure they won't mind ensuring that our team members with ASD are comfortable as well.

This is true, most people aren't willing to disclose their mental issues. Especially if it's one that people tend to laugh about.

Xeno gamers has always strived to be a safe and welcoming environment for all types of people, despite a persons ethnicity, regardless of they are homosexual or heterosexual, ignoring The limitations of age, and treating the sexes as equals. XG however has been ignoring the comfort and security of one group : people who suffer from Autism Spectrum Disorder. More than 3.5 million Americans have been diagnosed with ASD and the number is believed to be much higher due to individuals who have closeted their disorder. The amount of people who suffer from ASD on Steam is staggering, and it is safe to say that we come in contact with some of these individuals online daily. Autism spectrum disorder more often than not leads to many separate diagnoses such as Anxiety, depression, and Agoraphobia. People who have been bullied due to their atypical behaviour begin to see themselves as lesser, worthless, and with a bleak future. ASD can also lead to dependency issues, which only amplifies these thoughts of self worthlessness, and in some cases these thoughts lead to self harm or even suicide. As a community service worker, I have seen this happen, it is heart breaking and it never gets easier. With all of this being said, why are we allowing people to use this serious disorder to be the butt of every joke? Yes it is a meme that is used often, but so are other slurs we find unacceptable. There will be people on the spectrum ok with these slurs, may even use them themselves as a joke, but this can be said about any slur. I have been receiving messages of people on the spectrum feeling isolated and outcasted to to these jokes and I believe that we must put a stop to it, for their sake and for future xG players.

I believe in second chances, and if what I hear is true about him improving his behaviour and attitude, then let's reward good behaviour by giving him a shot. +1

When I was new to xG I had a hard time navigating, and finding the rules was NOT easy. When I was new I would of really appreciated the rules coming to me as apposed to having to treasure hunt. Personally based on my own experience I think this is a wonderful idea +1

That's very true, I have met him before, and in my opinion he's a funny as hell guy. And I can understand the frustration he must be feeling. However I still feel that it should be talked about. When you are in a position of power unfortunately you have to remain cool despite the type of day you are having.
