I gave the okay for the permanent CT ban, for the sole reasoning that it was indeed a Mass Freekill, regardless if it was accidental or unintentional.

 

Judging purely by the fact that ShadowSpy was in the same room with MineCrack and is in complete agreeance that it was not intentional, I can honestly give a +1 for a shortened ban (reason being that a punishment should still be given, as with any other CT ban, time undecided).

 

Given that it was a Freeday as well only helps his cause, meaning anyone could have done the same thing and unintentionally mass'd. Permanent CT bans really only pertain to intentional doings more than they do unintentional. This is why we have Ban Protests and why we listen to those who mass. If permanent bans were permanent, this wouldn't even be discussed nor would any threads be open for debate in regards to mass punishments.

-/+ 0. Going into race as a CT you can sort of expect you're going to have Ts following you into the area. It's a 1 entrance area technically. I know the doors both lead into the same area, but once they're shut, its two ways out. Win, or die.

It's not a good idea to hide in race if you intend to finish it while camping. It would lead to either a mass freekill as a CT, or a mass teamkill as a T or CT.

The rule is you cant CAMP in a one entrance area on a freeday (as a CT) , he was running around and he didnt camp, he had just run in a few seconds before that, from where he was, he couldnt see Ts ( only me, and he killed me as a joke, that i was fine with ) who had just run in (the door was still open from them entering)

With my velocity well over 800 and going in race before cells were opened, no one would've seen me go in.

 

It has 2 entrances, technically.

 

My intention wasn't to finish it, nor did I ever say it was. I was hiding in there for last CT.

 

Usually not many Ts go in there as most of the people who play JB can't complete race in a timely manor.

@@Warriorsfury Pornhub did something similar on blackout with the dinosaur (and he did it on purpose, killed like 5 or 6 ts) and got like a 1 or 2 week CT ban, so to be fair since it wasn't intentional and he only killed 3 (4 if you include me, but he did it as a joke with me, i thought it was funny until it killed the other Ts) he should only be a few day/week CT banned

I disagree with this... I don't really think it should be considered mass teamkilling/freekilling if it is a map game... the other people could have decided to not enter the game in progress but instead they did and they died...

 

HOWEVER, I do not think that anyone(or at least a CT) should be allowed to be in there waiting for someone to come in just so that they can finish and kill them.

 

I do not think anyone should be punished for actively playing a map game on a freeday that leads to deaths to the losers.

 

This being said, i was not there and I have not seen any proof of what happened... if he was waiting for people to come in and not finishing race then -1 for unban but +1 for 2 week ban, if he was actively playing race then +1 for unban now or definitely shortened

I was going back and fourth on the last part. I saw Shadow and I playfully taunted then finished the race. If it wasn't him I would've just baited out a T to attempt kill me so I could shoot them. Or some other form of baiting to get them to knife me, I wouldn't have straight up kill them.
