There have been past instances I recall in which some set of bots came on our server (like 3 or 4) and kept spamming the hell out of the chat with IPs or something and clouded the mics with a bunch of white noise. It was quite a while ago but I had to deal with that and it was absolutely ass, so I feel ya stickz

-1 immature chat binds aren't an issue if they arent spamming, if it gets bad call a mod, we have like 20. Otherwise, get rekt m80

But seriously, what's better than to make people stop playing on our servers because they do the lenny face in chat?

We're dealing with a population failure at the moment, and this rule will make it worse

Just to recap, the following are posts by Stickz that suggest the use of a plugin to deter chat spam. Seeing as this thread is going to hell with all of the instigating and flaming, I thought it would be easier to have this easily accessible as well as to close it to prevent further deterioration.
