Akio 0 Posted September 23, 2012 He does not the admin banning procedure and has wrongfully banned players. I was forced to make this thread because of a recent player he banned "minion." He was mic spamming and Tennis let his anger get to his judgement and server banned him for 4 hours when he should have just muted him. Bo Burnham, Rpgs, and I tried to tell him that he can't server ban people unless certain reasons have been committed stated in the admin handbook. tennisnoob 0 Posted September 23, 2012 in regards to this heres what I have to say I was AFK For 2 rounds, meaning that this guy has been trolling for 2 rounds as I get messages from players all the time telling me to kick or ban this guy and stuff. So I come back, and all i hear from this guy is, "FUCK YOU ASS HOLES, YOU MOTHERFUCKING ADMINS DONT KNOW WHAT YALL ARE DOING, YALL ARE FUCKING DICKS, STUPID ADMINS ETC." Constantly ranting the Mic., so I find this as profanity towards admin, abuse, and annoyance to other players with the mic spam. According to Akio when I asked him Why didn't you do anything to stop this, his response simply was because i was busy dealing with something else. How are you not able to stand up for your self and do something to have a player stop ranting the mic, throwing profanity and directly commentating against admins for minutes straight in a row., Especially when players are spamming and tired of this guy. So I dont know what he was so busy on doing Also I did not say that i didn't have to listen to it, I said Ive seen other ppl and listed an example. My game crashed before it happened and when I got back in I saw Akio saying something in admin chat and you weren't responding at all. Then I started trying to ask you questions and before me or Akio apparently Bo Burnham had been trying to ask you why he was banned. I find it hard to believe that you weren't paying attention to chat for 3 straight rounds and didn't respond until Akio said he was going to make an abuse thread if you didn't respond. And then you just acted completely confused and disoriented about the whole ordeal. I've seen you teamban people before and then when they ask why you take about 2 rounds to finally answer them and then by then your answer is just a generic "You've had it coming" or "You break alot of rules." Quite frankly, that's not going to cut it. If you are going to teamban someone you better be prepared to tell them why and you shouldn't take so long to tell them why. Aegean 849 Posted September 23, 2012 He has bans based on people doing stuff like freekilling or freeshooting, mic spamming also does not warrent a server ban untill multiple steps first. (warn, mute, kick, then ban) Anyways, you do not deserve to be mod if you do not follow our moderator guide accurately. Server bans are not to be thrown out about issues dealing with CT bans. If anything, his ban lengths and numbers are compassionate given how the climate of CS:GO right now. Guaranteed if I was in the server for as long TennisNoob was, there'd be hundreds of hours in CT bans and quite a few server perms. He has done a fine job as a CS:GO moderator, and frankly, the only problem I see with this situation is the CS:S veterans who wander over to CS:GO on occasion but refuse to help out the CS:GO newcomers, and instead choose to start this unnecessary drama because they feel emasculated by any CS:GO admins who didn't meet the strict standards of the CS:S division. I completely agree with starbuck, and i had to ban the same person [minion] again today for disrespecting,not only admins but many other players. i gagged him on two different occasions he refused to stop, kicked him and he didnt stop, then 10 minute banned him as a warning, he never came back again but he has been consistently trolling, dissrespecting on everyone, and on some occasions being racist towards other players. Given that the offending player, minion, was already muted/kicked at least once, TennisNoob took the exact appropriate action, according to the Admin Handbook, regardless of whether or not he was familiar with it or not. The complaint from Akio is without merit and, as punishment for these frivolous claims, lack of maturity, and apathetic attitude on the CS:GO server, I'm removing Akio's privileges on the CS:GO servers until such time as he assists TennisNoob in better understanding the Admin Handbook in a friendly-manner or TennisNoob's moderator privileges are re-instated, whichever comes first. Also, TennisNoob must complete a quiz on the Admin Handbook in order to be re-instated. If someone wants to overrule that, then they should provide an explanation as to how TennisNoob's actions in -this- complaint have violated any xG rules. We're not going to go grave digging expedition on trivial matters for a division that isn't even 1 month old.
