My great grandma is dying, and not even a heed of warning. Remember earlier about two months ago when I made the thread "How to deal with death" and I thought someone in my family was gonna die soon? Yeah. That happened. I guess this is mostly a notification that I'm not going to be able to act accordingly with admin duties over the holiday weekend. Sorry if I haven't been doing my job as well recently, with all these games coming out and getting piled with speech and debate and work...it's a little too much right now. It is fun Aegean! People are usually more prepared because this isn't some unorganized debate, but one with certain time frames. I do a partner debate, so 2 vs 2, on hot political topics. You have to make a case for each side of the resolution, the affirmative, and the negative. The resolution (topic) this month was: Direct election should replace the Electoral College in the Presidential election. I ran negative the whole time because people had a bias towards direct vote and all of my opponents picked affirmative, basically say DE is good. I feel myself in my own opinion that Electoral College keeps everything in balance and only had the few instances where it failed us, because DE is really unorganized and a whole majority premium can be swung to a side too easily. But yeah, you get nervous before your tourney everytime. It's fun talking to your opponents before hand! You feel more comfortable in the debate.

Ok, I am back :D I did win 2 - 2, possible 3 - 1 (Wins-Loses). Last time was 0 - 5 (my first tourney) so I have improved a bit. We won our last round because our opponnets brought themselves up in a debate, meaning opinions and not actual political evidence, so my partner wiped the floor with him using himself as an example and Fox News as a 'reliable media source' My captain flipped out when I told her that she got into semis for her Expos. She hugged me for like 3 minutes in front of her boyfriend. She's a senior. Feelsgoodman.jpg I ALMOST broke off to octafinals. I have another tourney in two weeks, so that's gonna be fun :D

People CAN get offended. Some people aren't offended by 2GOC, but most are. So does that mean we disallow it? Sure, but we can't be biased and say that certain 'porn sprays' are allowed. We would have to allow all porn sprays if we allowed porn sprays. I'm fine with saying boobs are ok...because boobs are ok. But we just have to allow the majority or don't allow any at all. We can't say specifically to a point what we can and cannot have.
