Laying low for a bit helps, as it can prevent getting banned immediately after getting unbanned. *Lulz, why am i even trying? Multiple bans? Get out.

It goes without saying that joining the clan first would provide a MUCH stronger sense of assurance. Also, considering what has happened in the past, I don't personally think that applying for such a position so soon to your return is a good idea. I would say to join and truly prove what good you're capable of doing before anything else.

I would suggest going to one of the higher ups and suggesting things for the clan, such as expanding into different games by some means. Like Otherworldly said, xG isn't forcing you to play certain games. If it leans more towards joining a different clan, that's one thing, but to be bored of xG? Dude, there are SO many alternative actions you could take.

Being a moderator is not a position that should be taken lightly. It isn't like getting a new rank in CoD where you just get a few perks and you're free to use em as you please. Considering the power you get when you become a mod it goes without saying that you have to be particularly trustworthy and...well, I dunno. No offense intended, but making a post like this doesn't really inspire much confidence and assurance that you're thinking of it the right way. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like you think of mod as less of a prestigious position and more of...something less honorable? For lack of a better word, I guess. And your join date says otherwise, in regards to having been in for two months.
