    Per the new membership guidelines, he has received his DM+ vouch and five vouches (even with the -1's, which don't take away from the score, according to Rhodo). Even with the -1's, he has still received 9 positive vouches. He will be accepted and given a chance at being member.

    I'll review the demo shortly. If this is true, his powers will be removed. I already spoke to him (literally the day he got his powers) because he was killing people while being resized. Not only that, I linked him to the guidebook when he got his powers so that he would know the rules.

     

    Edit: Yeah, he knew what he was doing and chose to ignore you. Then he left the server after you confronted him. His powers will be removed for abuse.

     

    I'll leave this open for anyone else to add input, but I feel this is a cut and dried case.

    +1 He's changed. No longer feeds or acts on drama. Actually fun to have on the servers now. I can verify that I've played saxton with him at least 5 times in the last month. He's on every time I join. Not only that, he's active on the trade servers and Jailbreak. He helps populate them everyday.

    The reason why I didn't go straight to the report is I wanted to ask a admin if it was important enough to report and what I should do. Along with I didn't want any grudges, but anyway, I went to Bello today and asked to help as he did to fill the report. With that said, I can promise you I do not remember having a vote for this event along with no past experiences in the past with Spook. As far as I know I just met the guy and witnessed it, and if I did have any past problems with you, please show me or tell me. But anyway, if there was a vote I am sorry for the inconvenience of this report AND I have no intentions of having him demoted but then again, it isn't my decision.

    That's fine. I'm glad you spoke to a staff member. No grudges should be held because you reported something that you thought was wrong, not out of malicious contempt.

    No inconvenience; I'm glad you brought this to our attention. There really isn't enough evidence as is. He assures me that he did a vote (and the logs show this). Even so, I have still reminded him to continue with votes if he wants to do something that affects other players. However, as for the sniper switching... I'll admit it's creative and weird, but I don't find it detrimental. Anyone can change their class back to what they were. He only did it so that it would seem inconspicuous, instead of just switching the one guy. He explained to me that the person in question was a spy and he had no way to verify the aimbot like that. We don't really have any set guidelines for dealing with cheaters, so he did his best to deal with the situation without causing a lot of damage.

    In conclusion, nothing here really screams to me that he abused. The screenshots just show him using the commands, but provide no backstory. His explanation seems to corroborate his actions, as do the logs. I'm going to close this, but keep an eye on Spook. If you have any more issues, please open another abuse report.     First of all, you didn't appear to try very hard at contacting him, considering he said he was leaving. From what he has told me, you have had some rough times with him in the past. He explained that he changed everyone to sniper and hid it as an event to see if he could catch a suspected aim botter.

     

    Your screenshots do not provide any/enough evidence. All that they show is the command being executed in the chat. They do not provide any sort of context for the situation.

     

    Also, he didn't abuse. He remembered that he launched a vote last night before doing the timebomb. That's a snip from the logs last night:

    I'm curious and I have a question for you. If this happened last night, why did you wait until nearly 5 PM today to even post about it? If you weren't okay with it (and it was truly abuse), you should have posted it right away.

    In hale the map Complex D or whatever needs to be removed. If players are in vents, hale gets teleports they will be outside the map.

     

    Vents are long too, miles of mazes

    So it sounds like you're basically expecting Liekos to keep up the forums himself with only a little bit of help every once in a while. Plus things have been way picking up since we lowered the age limit. Plus he's expected to just start getting super forum active now. I don't know all the details but from this it kind of seems like Liekos is getting set up to fail.

    No, what I said was: "I expect both of you to communicate and work out a plan of action". Whatever they decided, is up to them.

    These are the donator perks available for our Team Fortress 2 servers. Please note that this is a one-time purchase; we do not have subscriptions. If you wish to upgrade your tier, you only have to pay the difference. For example, if you want to upgrade to Upgraded from Basic, you would only pay 10 USD. Please be sure that you add our division leaders on steam, or message them on the forums, and provide them with a receipt so they can verify your donator. If you are upgrading, you need to provide the original receipt and the new receipt. We no longer accept keys as payment. All donations must be made through the donation tab (PayPal or Stripe).

    !robot(Turns you into a robot)

    !resizemyhead (Changes the size of your head)

    !resizeme (Changes your whole size)

    !resizeresetme (Resets any resize changes)

    !voice (Allows you to change the pitch of your voice from 50-200)

    !trailgun (Opens a menu to set up a custom trailgun. Must be equipping a flaregun to use)

    Donator Rules and Guidebook:

     

    General Guidelines:
    • If you want to do anything that affects gameplay or other people on the server, make a vote for it first and only proceed if the vote passes with 70% or more Yes votes (some examples are things like using !gimme to give yourself valve weapons or the HHHH and killing people with it)
    • Follow this template while calling a vote: !vote "question" "No" "Yes".
    • On Jailbreak, if you're using something that prevents you from being eligible for LR, slay yourself when it's down to you and the guy that should be getting LR.
    • Don't delay any round using donator powers
    Boss Spawning
    • Use !vote before spawning any of the bosses.
    • The vote must have 70% wanting the boss to be spawned.
    • When you are making a vote for things such as boss spawning, make No the first option and Yes the second option. (/vote "Spawn the HHH?" no yes)
    Boss Spawning Commands:
    • !hatman - Spawns a Horseman.
    • !eyeboss - Spawns a Monoculus.
    • !eyeboss_red - Spawns a red variant of the Monoculus.
    • !eyeboss_blue - Spawns a blue variant of the Monoculus.
    • !merasmus - Spawns Merasmus.
    • !skelegreen - Spawns a green variant of a Skeleton.
    • !skelered - Spawns a red variant of a Skeleton.
    • !skeleblue - Spawns a blue variant of a Skeleton.
    • !skeleking - Spawns The Skeleton King.
    • !ghost - Spawn the Ghost.
    Boss Slaying Commands:

    • Only give yourself weapons that are normally for the class you are(no rocket jumping sniper so you can get to a nice sniping ledge)
    • Don't abuse this to get ammo
    • Weapon ID's can be found here.
    Noclip
    • Do not use this unless you are on a trade server, Mann vs Machine or Jailbreak.
    • Slay yourself after using this if you wish to start killing people, otherwise it's considered abusing even if you turn off noclip.
    • Noclipping to the skybox with intent to build there or cause any harm (sapping buildings, building, killing etc) is forbidden.
    !raffle
    • You do not have to have a staff member present before doing these, but it is advised
    Resizing (!resizeheadme !resizeme !resizemyhands !resizermytorso)
    • Don't resize and rebel or attack people.
    !rocketme
    • Don't use while dead or it will kill the person you're spectating. DO NOT do this... even if they broke a rule, you are not staff and using this to "slay" a rulebreaker is STILL ABUSE.
    Stuns (!stunme !gstunme !bonkme)
    • Don't spam these.
    Turning into bosses (!bemerasmus @me !behhh !bedeflector)
    • Don't rebel or attack people while using these unless you go through a vote
    Custom Projectiles (!proj)
    • Do not use models on syringes, this can create a lot of lag and can really clutter peoples screens.
    Robot & Skeleton
    • Do not use these if you are fighting other people.
    Kartify
    • Always be in !friendly mode to avoid dealing damage to enemy players when using this.

     

    Abusing any of your powers will result in the following punishment system:

    Warn -> Kick -> Day Ban -> Warn -> Week Ban + Removal Of Powers.

    Gonna throw in my two cents on this issue:

     

    Like most of you guys, I too am beginning to have reservations about the number of 12-year-olds we are making exceptions for when it comes to giving membership too. Clearly, we recently made the change to drop the required age for our members from 16 to 13. And the first member to actually get membership after the change was a 12-year-old.

     

    Obviously, this screams "Incompetence" by the higher ups when it comes to following the newly implemented rules. But allow me to provide some perspective on the matter.

     

    Beefalo has been here for literal years. He is a donator. He plays almost 100% of his TF2 time on our servers. He is the perfect candidate to be considered for membership. He is kind-hearted and all around a good kid. He directly communicates with many of our staff members and is actively trying to find solutions to the server problems.

     

    When the new rule was changed, he first messaged me and asked if he might be able to apply, since he will be turning 13 soon. I decided to make the executive decision and make an exception.

     

    Now, obviously going forward, we will not be allowing every 12-year-old in the world to toss up an application and automatically bypass the rule. This time, Ohstopyou is taking initiative with another exceptional case where we have a younger player who is a regular and very active. He has also donated money to our servers and helps to curb issues whenever he is online.

     

    Is he under the required age? Yes. He is. But I think that someone who has already dedicated so much of his time and money to our servers should also be given the benefit of the doubt.

     

    Obviously, if this wasn't a special case, we would have already closed this thread. You'll also notice the thread is going forward as any member submission threads do. We aren't automatically giving him membership here. We are still leaving it up to you guys to decide. If you feel that we shouldn't allow another exception, just leave your -1 and be done with it. If you agree that this individual has proven himself to be an asset to our community, +1 him.

     

    I've already conversed with Ohstopyou about the matter, and assuming Jordan gets the 13 +1s, he will be handled as if he is another new member. If he does not, then he will be asked to wait until his 13th birthday. But let me end with this: He would not be up for discussion to be a member if we honestly didn't think he was good member material.

     

    That all being said, I will show my support and say this:

    Someone who devotes so much time to our servers, and someone who supports us financially, DEFINITELY should be considered for membership, even if he's only a few months away from being 13.

    Exactly. So before you -1 him because he's 12, actually consider what he has done and how he acts.

     

    I think it is very sleazy that we would take his money and time, but not allow him a CHANCE at getting in. Like Scoot said, we aren't just accepting him off the bat; he has to go through the same process as everyone else.

     

    Final notes: Stop derailing the thread; keep any new posts on-topic. If you seriously think I'm just letting random people in or bending rules for no reason, you need to reevaluate what you know about me.

    Are the Moderators, and Administrators still 6 year old children who aboose, complain, and have zero sense?

    If not great, if still....well, try to upgrade will ya.

    Our staff roster has completely changed. Most of our staff are younger, as most of the TF2 member base is younger, but we do take maturity into account when adding and removing staff.
