Kid. I've played fucking highlander/competitive tf2. I know what it's like to play without crits and I feel it is inferior. I'm not on xG servers to play actual tf2 I'm on xG servers to fuck around, even on jb. I think crits need to stay because the random luck aspect is fun. And because competitive tf2 is great and I love it, and screw around tf2 is also great and I love it. We don't need to combine the two, which is what it sounds like you are trying to do. xG servers are for fun above all else. We frankly do not need Competitive settings. Crits should stay. Keep competition and fun separate.

they keep saying the same stuff because we genuinely enjoy random crits, and that "same stuff" is just another way of saying our reasoning for keeping random crits. we like them and want them to remain a part of the game. an opinion that goes against yours is equally as valid as yours. there are some people who just don't want crits to be removed. I am one of those people. you can't claim we are wrong just because you chose to articulate an argument and we didn't. we don't want crits too be removed, we have given our reasons why here and in the previous thread. we disagree with you, we think crits should stay in the game, and you don't have a very good chance. the tf2 division writ large has spoken, and we overwhelmingly support random crits and want them to remain active in game on all xG tf2 servers..

crits are funny and happen to both teams equally. if you get killed by a crit just laugh it off and try again. somebody as into competitive, skill based play (On a jailbreak server #sotough) as you should know crits are luck and not skill based. if you get killed by one so what? that doesnt mean the other person is better than you they just got lucky, so gg and try again next time. i'm starting to think you're just upset because you thought more people would want crits removed, but they obviously don't. crits keep things fresh and interesting you are not going to be able to hold back every rebellion that's the point of jailbreak. if you get this upset by dying in a gamemode made for you to die sometimes maybe you should go play something you actually enjoy? because it doesnt sound like you're having any fun.

I have been playing this server for over a year. not once has it not been fun. but these last couple of days since hub was added have been hell. nobody talks or fucks around, nobody let's people duel, all anyone does is kill eachother for credits. i know i have mod powers and can just go in buddha but being in buddha is lame without other friendly players to screw around with. I'm not having fun on the server anymore. I enjoy the server for the people but those people are either just killing on sight now or are coming back less and less because if you don't feel like being a tryhard the server sucks to play on now. if i wanted to play tf2 like a tryhard i would play a pub game. Hub is cool, but it isn't cool enough to stick around if the server sucks to play on. it's not the plugin itself, it's the players. every single one of them is a faggot with a hardon for credits and will either kill you on sight or farm your credits as a friendly scout. Hub has ruined this server and i'm not sure i want to stick around if this is how it's going to be. I came here for fun, and i'm not having fun anymore. and i'm not alone in that regard.

i would have still have disagreed, but it would have been more proper and smart

-1 crits are random and funny. thats the point of the trade servers, rtd gives people a random advantage but you dont complain about that? come on. if you get killed by a crit then just gg and try again. the chance of randomly wrecking someone keeps thing interesting. this isnt competitive tf2 and if you care that much about keeping killing fair on a TRADE server then go play competitive tf2. random crits will be disabled. your a mod anyway, you can just buddha yourself if you dont want to be killed by crits. i have never once heard anyone else complain about random crits. and they cant just buddha themselves.
 
 
 
you use the danger shield anyway, so you can already tank headshots and have more then enough health and defense to tank a crit, why complain?

We should allow it. Not everyone has a mic and as long as the quality is fine they should be allowed to be on blu. And it would feel like a dick move to take action against someone who has broken absolutely no rules. not everyone wants to be on blu or has a mic. if we bar certain people from being on blu we arent going to have anywhere near enough CT's to play effectively.

I don't think everyone should be able to use the command but I think the staff should be able to trigger it on other people themselves. Currently you can only target yourself with the command.
