  2. Power to the authority, I agree. Keep it allowed, but respect the law.
  3. I believe spawn camping should be allowed. It's kind of the point of engineer and sniper. When the camper is abusing glitches and exploits to reach an impossibly hard to reach spot, then it should be banned.
  4. It seems like Valve is trying to make things more complicated. While I like the direction their going, it sounds like they need to fine-tune them a bit. For the first map, I believe they can add some pathways in which spies can sap the sentries. They can be one-way paths so that engineers can't camp the pathways, though knowing the community, I think they'll find some kind of exploit. I have mixed feelings about the ramps. I believe it's nice to have them so that the game will be somewhat longer. On the other hand, it also adds unneeded frustration. As for the second map, I like the space theme. It would be interesting to see them integrated into SFM videos. TF2- IN SPACE! All jokes aside, the second map probably just needs some more direction, and it would be a fun map. I bet there would be lots of moments spawned from this map.

  7. As far as I'm aware, I believe there are other servers besides TF2. Although, maybe he should prioritize this a bit more.
  8. Here's three ways I could go: 1. Disable BASE for everyone. 2. Disable for RED, and make them go into the armory to receive it. 3. Just make an order for no BASE Jumping, and kill anyone who disobeys. If a RED base jumps, they can simply be taken out of the air with a few well-aimed bullets. If a BLU jumps, I see it being only able to delay their death after a rebellion. The RED can take the armory weapons, go out to the BLUs, and murder them in cold, blue blood. And if people complain about BLUs being given more power, then that's fine. I believe that a BLU should have power over the RED unless they're overpowered by sheer number. Currently, I believe that it's little too easy to rebel. However, my viewpoint may change
  9. I think SyrJirk speaks for me, and a select number of other people. It's really opinionated and the "maturity" of their voice is a factor, but a small one. If their voice is unbearable by most of the players currently on, they can, instead of kicking/banning them, merely agree to strip him of warden. He can communicate through chat, as well. When they start to scream, be irrational, and abuse their mic, then it's off their little voice-machine.
  10. Immature isn't exactly an adjective I'd use to describe a voice. I believe that if a person can speak clearly, at a good pace, and is mature, they should be able to talk on Blu. I can't even understand wardens who just merge every word in a sentence.
  11. The taunts aren't necessarily RUINING TF2. I believe it should be done on none-serious servers, but doing it once in a while on a server isn't so bad. When someone uses EVERY SINGLE ROUND, then it's gone too far. Besides, I believe TF2 needs this taunt hype. It's a nice change.
  12. Okay, I can't exactly give an organized idea... so I'll just summarize my thoughts on the Homing Ball perk... First off, I believe that it does give the scouts an advantage, but it can be easily countered by the hale. The scouts may not pay attention to where hale is, and he may sneak up on them. The scouts may bonk incorrectly and stun him only for 2 seconds. And my strategy is to take them out first or hide in isolate areas in which the balls cannot home in on me. Hachi mentioned someone giving an idea of charging the balls while crouched. I believe this would balance this out, since the scout would be taking a risk and would be reduced to a homing turrent, similarly to the huntsman homing. Also, I believe that 520 Scouts are more annoying and overpowered than a homing ball scout. The only hale that can use projectiles is the Christian Brutal Sniper. Because of the perk, scouts are able to run at a constant speed, partially negating the rage's ability to hinder the scout's movement. This virtually gives scouts away from danger from the Hale's meaty fists/Giant axe/ vaporizing wrench.
  13. The points have been reset lately, but I didn't notice the change immediately after the server started allowing non-arena maps on the voting list. It's more of a risk kind of thing, as I've noticed that many people, including me, gain many more points in a non-arena map. However, it's better to let it stay as arena-only, since it is a hale server, and changing so is risky.
  14. Server: Tf2 Vs. Saxton Hale Suggestion/ Bug: Suggestion In case of an AFK player, spectators may type !afk, and after a few votes, a text message will appear to Hale which will alert him of the AFK player.
  15. Server: Tf2 Jailbreak Suggestion/ Bug: Suggestion How about whenever a guard takes a free kill, they get a huge de-buff, like very slow movement speed. This would discourage guards because the de-buffs will make them easy targets by rebels.

  18. Hasn't been happening as of this weekend. However, I noticed that they removed the option to RTV a map other than Saxton Hale/ Arena maps.
  19. This needs to be fixed. If it's been going on for a long time, I don't see why they haven't bothered to fix it or come up with a loophole around it.
  20. The reset happened again, but this time, the map wasn't reset, but just RTV'd.
  21. Still not working, but I have retained my points since the reset. I'll probably have to work my points again, but it's really annoying and needs to be patched.

  24. Server: Team Fortress 2: VS Saxton Hale Bug or Suggestion?: Bug What is your bug/suggestion?: After buying the Soldier Perk, Homing Rockets, which is in slot #1, I tested it with the Direct Hit and Stock Rocket Launcher, but the rockets don't seem to home in on my target (Saxton Hale).
