  1. Some of these make no sense.

    * DO NOT SUICIDING TO AVOID DEATH

This is annoying and will get you kick/banned!

    * NO GHOSTING

This is telling other players, while you are dead, who are alive where the opposite team is currently located, doing this is a kickable/bannable offense.

    These are so pointless.

"Do not suicide to avoid death" - What is even the point of this? Someone's going to press their kill bind when they fall off the surf ramp? How does this change anything?

"No ghosting" - So it's an offense to say where someone is on a surf map?

Plus, these are jailbreak rules. Not surf.

  2. Get hype!

Event starts tonight at 7:00pm EST, (5:00pm MST), and we have a large schedule of games and events planned for the evening. For those of you wondering, here is a generalized schedule of the activities that will be taking place tonight:

    7:00pm - Populate the Server

    7:15pm - Random Item Raffle

    7:30pm - Event 1 - Mass Spycrab (1 key prize)

    7:55pm - Random Item Raffle

    8:00pm - Event 2 - Heavy Boxing (1 key prize)

    8:25pm - Random Item Raffle

    8:30pm - Event 3 - Fashion Contest (1 key prize)

    8:55pm - Random Item Raffle

    9:00pm - Event Freform Mode

This isn't a set schedule, but we will be sticking to something close to this, firing off raffles as often as possible. Once again, the more items we have to give away, the better this event will turn out. So, if you have anything to donate, PLEASE send me a trade offer and I will stow them away tonight.

Thanks again for all the help!

    God damn it

    I hate being British

  3. snip

Either just shut down steam for about a minute or re install tf2. Helped me

    Just restart steam via task manager (completely, you can't have it running at all) or restart your pc. It might be conflicting with some mods you may have installed. If not, then just ignore it. It happens c;

  4. Staff kind of do that already. When I used to be mod, I'd always play on TGH and Pokemon Trade. I'd still go on servers that had rule breakers on or if I just wanted to play that gamemode.

I think that staff should know the rules for each server. I never knew the rules for saxton hale even when I was mod, and I still don't.

    Idk.

  5. I search for things that way often... but if I searched for a server looking for a map... I would not join one that wasn't on the map I searched... and would prolly blacklist it thinking it was doing some shady stuff by showing up in my map search without being on that map :)

Yeah but some people could either wait for the map OR the name could be something like

[xG] Trade Gaming History (Zelda, Mario and more!)

  6. Regulars don't need to play on the 24/7 clock town if they don't want. Tgh will still be there for them and clock town would still be on the rotation, but then one of our dead servers will be changed to 24/7 so if people only like clock town (which seems to be a lot) they can play it. It worked once to repopulate tgh so maybe our dead servers can be made useful with this

Make another server 24/7 Clocktown. Trade Gaming is still very much alive.

  7. Or we get rid of our non populated servers and make it 24/7 clock town since it was populated on its own

No, that won't work. Loads of regulars laugh about when TGH was 24/7 Clocktown when someone brings it up.

Loads of regulars will just stop playing. Plus, Clocktown is a shitty map imo

Recently, I've been observing how populated Trade Gaming History is based on certain maps.

Who would have guessed it, TGH was most popular when the map was Clocktown.

When the map is set to other maps, the server population decreases a lot. It can be full on Clocktown and drop to around 16 when the map changes.

I've also noticed that Pokemon Trade pretty much always has a full server.

Why? Because of the "Pokemon" in the name.

When people search for servers, they often search the name of something they like. People search "Clocktown" into the search bar way more often than things like "Rusty Bucket Bay" or "Lava Giant".

To make it so that TGH is more populated when on other maps, I think that a name change is in order.

[xG] Trade Gaming History (Clocktown, [ADD NAMES OF OVERPLAYED MAPS HERE])

This would make it so that people search "Clocktown" and then join the server whilst we're on a different map, which they could remember or they could rtv or whatever idk.
