  1. This is actually fricking brilliant. Ohstopyou, is that something we can do? And if so, perhaps we should consider guides for ALL our servers. Lord knows Jailbreak could use one.

I would be more than glad to attempt to work on guides, regardless if I haven’t been in said servers, The only one I would most likely suck at making is Jailbreak, I went to the jailbreak server, watched for like a half hour, and still had no idea what the hell was going on.

  2. I don't know why a guide was needed for a TRADE server but k.

You should PROBABLY remove the "commands removed" bit in the Donator perks.

Copy paste is cool and all but you should probably look into things like that a little more

    TRADE server why does this need a guide ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, there are many trade servers that run pretty much the same way, and from what I have seen, XenoGamers likes to keep their ways of running in a way that isn’t like other servers. “Unique"

Some people attempt to use !savloc, !trade, etc. things like that...

Those commands aren’t commands that exist in the server, however those commands are pretty common in many other trade servers.

Although the idea may sound rather humorous that a guide for a Trade Server was created...

I still think it can be pretty useful for people who are joining the server for the first time,

and for those whom would like to get some information about how XenoGamers runs their servers.

  3. This map includes:

    • Breakable windows! (in the Pokétower)
    • Music from the FR and LG Lavender Town
    • A music off button, for when you're feeling not so nostalgic.
    • Routes 8 and 10! (because just the town would've been too small)
    • And plenty of health and ammo kits!

  5. Hello, I wanted to make you aware of a problem that has recently started occurring quite frequently, That being of the NSPOSIXErrorDomain:100. My operating system is OS X El Capitan‎, and the browser I am using is Safari Version 9.0.1 (11601.2.7.2). At times when I go to a different page, such as the forums... This error shows up :

"Safari can’t open the page “https://xenogamers.com/”. The error is: “Protocol error” (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:100)"

This problem’s duration has been lasting for about a week or so, and it still happening.

  6. well. there was this extremely elaborate trade scam which i was suspicious about from the start. This person Steam Community :: COOLIO offered 350 keys on my hat, told me to trade it to one of my trusted friends (Jamio Jadeux) Steam Community :: Jamio Jadeux ( Don't blame them for it) to check if it was duped or something? I really wanted the keys, holy frick. Then he told him to trade it back. A bot made the same account as my name Steam Community :: asdadadada and Jamio accidentally gave the haat with him. Now I just got scammed out of my favorite hat and I'm extremely worried.

Another person from jamios name tried to trade me and asked to give me all of my stranges, too, but I cant find them. This is fricking terrible.

Someone please help, oh my goddddddddd.

It was my neptunes nightmare+death at disco

    Some dude attempted to do the trusted friend scam on me a few weeks ago, immediately reported him to steamrep. {he already had 2 other people report him for same thing XD}

But yeah, report them, and try to contact valve with proof, hopefully they will help you out.

  7. Blu Spawn is easily camped

This is undoubtedly true. However, this is another one of those kinds of maps that make implementations of spawn points trivial/difficult.

Having both spawns in the city would be chaos; the layout just doesn't allow it.

If I were to go with even more trigger_teleport & info_teleport_destination entities, it would swallow up even more entdata (currently around 90%). Not to mention, it may even be the same kind of clusterfúck that the Minecraft Realms map went through before the map creator decided to opt for traditional spawn rooms (at least I believe the map was called that. It's made by TrollX).

I'll think of something when I get around to it.

Radio Tower (interior) is really small

It is but it isn't, I shall explain.

When recreating things from older games that use tile sets, map makers will often utilise a simple formula when bringing something to scale.

    Example:

    1x1 (16x16 pixels) Tile = 128x128 Hammer Units.

The reason that Frewie's work on the internal aspects of Goldenrod differs from mine in this respect is that he factored in every visible tile. I only factored in the tiles you were able to walk on in the games because logic.

As a result, the rooms he built are 1 unit larger in reference.

Ground Floor of the Radio Tower

    Frewie

    (l x w) 512 x 1152

    Me

    (l x w) 448 x 1152

The formula we both use (for the interior) is 1 walkable unit is equal to 64 x 64 Hammer Units. For whatever reason, Frewie included the wall. If you play Gold, Silver, or Crystal and enter the Radio Tower (or anywhere for that matter) and count how many steps you are able to take in a room and convert it using the information from above, it will make more sense to you on why this is the case.

Gaps between buildings are too small

True. I'll think on it. I would have to resize every brush and re-work the textures to scale properly.

    Music Buttons

Well, that's the way it is.

Ah, I see. Thank you for taking the time to explain these :)

It will take some time to get used to the new map, but it still is one hell of an awesome map :D
