I've done that but it only works to some degree because they still spawn around my land and wander into it. I've made the snowmen to get them away but it doesnt have much affect because if the mob is a spider or something faster(?) then its just going to demolish them

I don't have a towny nor am I thinking of making one because I am already part of one. I live separately from the town but close to it.

Put torches all around your house so there can no be spawn area.

Well that is one thing but I live in a biome FULL of snow so i could just walk around my house and just get snow that way. I WANT SNOW SOLDIERS!!!! But no seriously I have them to (attempt to) keep hostile mobs away from my land and so I want to add damage (even if its like half a heart) to them so they can be good house guards or something.

disabling Mobspawn is a thing.

Try using them for gathering snow, or you can just level up your excavation levels by making a ring around it (have the golem in a 1x1 area) and mine the snow that it generates.

To any MMORPG players who does not have a current game, I would suggest to them Black Desert online. It is quite cheap, only 6$ right now I believe. Very fun game, watch a few vids on it.

I personally feel that this plugin is too easily abused on surf maps with powerups, as it allows people to instantly teleport back to the powerup at any time, and not allow any other players to get it. On quite a few maps with powerups, such as surf_utopia and surf_tensile, in order to re-aquire the powerup after it expires, one would have to surf the whole map again, allowing other players a chance to obtain it. With the checkpoint plugin however, the person that first finished the map has a strangehold on the powerup, throwing off the intended balance of the map.

 

I understand using it to get back to sniper boxes if you get killed at the end of the map, but I think there should be more restrictions on using it to hog powerups. I've also seen people troll with it, by continuously teleporting to the end of the map, attempting to kill everyone there, dying, then instantly zapping back after they respawn.

I think cptele is fine as it is. If there is a problem with dmg, make it that you cant cptele within 10 seconds of taking dmg. The powerups on utopia is not very strong, I believe? Pretty sure they barely make a difference.

Planning or placing a few of these airships for something special planned in the future. Any suggestions on what to change about it?

The game rule is currently set so the server wouldn't lag and affect other people. Wouldn't want people to be lagging and have a no fun time due to mass amounts of mobs.

This is only effective in their loaded chunks. even if there is a lot of mobs without 500+ you wouldnt notice a difference at all.

Can we take of gamerule maxEntityCraming? This makes auto mob farms EXTREMELY impossible as mobs suffocate on each other in large amounts.

There is such a thing as not running your games graphics settings all on high and ultra.

 

Set it to low, it looks like crap but you won't be disappointed.

I switched a PSU to date rn its working fine, will report back if broken

I have an AMD CPU, and it gets pretty hot. Even stress testing it and seeing how far it would go, it was fine. Nothing seemed wrong.

But my CPU would overheat on games like Overwatch, GTA V, etc.

 

Dust out your computer, like Virr had suggested. Dust build up doesn't help venting.

Certainly sounds like overheating to me. If at all possible, keep an eye on your CPU temps while playing a demanding game. If it runs super hot then shuts down, then that's your issue.

 

Question though... What CPU and cooler are you using?

Its really weird. When I put it on my desk it doesnt crash at all. Stress test both up to 70C + and doesnt crash.

Check to make sure your graphics card is plugged in and powered. Mine hasn't for about 5 years.
