Baiting a Rebel?

Recommended Posts

Ok, just wondering even though im sure u can't.

Is it possible to bait someone who is rebelling? As in they weren't pardoned and at the time you are within knifing distance they are a rebel.

As said, im pretty sure you can't, so just a question

I wouldn't think so but what if a t is pardoned and comes out of a cell without a ct knowing and goes through him. Would that count as baiting?

Baiting is defined as being within knifing distance of a Terrorist (or being in a cell with a Terrorist directly outside of it or in a close proximity). Because it is not defined whether or not this applies to Rebels, it's implied it shouldn't count.

Just as it is implied in ThunderDome that CTs may be within knifing distance of the T they are fighting without fear of being slain. It's just one of the basis rules that under certain circumstances, CTs may be within knifing distance of a T.

TL;DR - No, I believe it is not considered baiting if you are within knifing distance of a Rebel.

or being in a cell with a Terrorist directly outside of it

Duhrr... Does this also count with the VIP cell in vipinthemix? If you aren't too close to them? I think it's rather unfair to make a quicker cellcheck considered baiting :/

Again, if you look at it logically, you can deduce the following:

- Baiting is being within knifing distance

- Being in a cell near a Terrorist with only one entrance, therefore meaning you can bait the T if they're directly outside because there is no other exit

- VIP cell in vipinthemix has multiple entrances to leave through, plus you aren't within distance of the T even if they enter (IE. You're on the second or third floor, you aren't within knifing distance, not baiting)

Like Gkoo stated

Just judge accordingly as a staff member. Depends on the moment.

And if you aren't a Staff Member, just use logic.

I know exactly what this is about. I was inside iso, and the previous warden did pardon me, told me to go inside the pit. I was told not to move from the new warden as soon as the previous one died. I followed orders, you ran in front of me, within knifing distance, so I slayed you for baiting. I wasn't a rebel, I was stuck inside iso, and WAS pardoned by the current warden.
