Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - When they cry:

Meet Maebara Keiichi. A newly moved high school boy who spends his days blissfully playing games with his newly made local friends. Without that superficial look on his life, his life becomes much worse with every turn of a corner. Where friends are not as great as they seemed, and where it seems like everyone's out to get him. Just for reference, the anime does skip around time a bit. Also, it may get a bit bloody.

Just finished it last night, was by far the best anime ending i have ever seen.

Episode count: Six (Each about 45 minutes long)

Genres: Supernatural, Tech, Action

General rant on it: This show is very...interesting, by this I mean, it's taking place in 1985 in the first episode. And the series ends in the year 2055. The story is about two immortal women who have come to the fact of their drawn out lives. They vary their lines of work, to seek entertainment. But, as immortals, there are people after them. And being immortal, it can lead to some brutal scenes. This includes some torture, so if you're not into that stuff, I'd still say "Watch this anime, just skip ahead four minutes." Because the character interaction, the daily life of seeing and meeting new people (Only to see them age and grow) makes this series fantastic. There's a small race of 'angels' which are biologically attracted to the immortals - which are consisted of women - and while the angels are consisted of men. But this drawn of natural urges is beyond wants, the women can be affected psychically if near them. Resulting in immortals completely avoiding them.

My general rating on it: 8.5/10 Would recommend, if you don't mind torture scenes and nudity.
