I haven't been on the servers in a little bit, because I have just recently moved to college. I probably won't be on in a little bit either, simply because my dorm wireless network is weird and it whispers suggestive things in my ears at night. Which is super hot and all, but it makes it difficult to launch Steam and go online. Until these issues are resolved and I become a crazy psychopathic cyber-hacker who can figure out how to get Steam running here, you will have to make do without me talking 24/7 nonstop about worthless things at two in the morning. My apologies to those who like to have me play, and you're welcome to those who don't.

I don't think that's entirely what he was saying. He was saying the the word of a moderator should hold more clout in decisions (such as bans, protestes, etc).
-
It doesn't look different enough, IMO. It's like playing CS 1.6 and playing CS:S; yeah, there are some subtle differences, and if I was playing competitively I'd care, but for the most part there is not nearly a big enough difference to justify buying it again.

Dude a long, mature, thought-out post that tackles fifty topics? SOULMATES <3! Hurry up and apply man we could use like sixty of you in this clan.
-
Why do all of you have so few classes? I took 7 classes every year when I was in high school. What do you all do with all the extra time? And don't say homework, because I did pretty much ALL of my homework at school, in class. If you need a study hall for homework, just learn to multitask better.

I was out on Catalina Island once with my friends, and I was walking along the shoreline. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my arm, and I look down and see not one but TWO wasps wriggling around on my arm trying to disattach their stingers. I was like, "WTF?!" I hadn't even been near any plants or animals or anything, two wasps had just quite literally charged me out of nowhere and assaulted my arm. Well, I was so caught off guard by this that I panicked, and tried shaking the wasps off, but in the process I waved my arm so hard that one of the wasp bodies hit my friend right in the forehead. I was embarrassed and felt bad, but it was also quite hilarious. I probably would have laughed if there still wasn't a wasp crawling on my arm.

+1. Drank is probably one of our best mods.

I don't mind you resigning your position. I never said that. In fact, I respect that decision a great deal. I don't mind you leaving. I'd leave a community too if I didn't feel like I fit in anymore. What I DO mind is you bashing xG for being terrible and full of idiotic children simply because you haven't taken the time to be active and get to know them. If you had simply said, "Hey guys, it's been fun, but my time here is done, peace," then my post would have said "Bye Vero, rock on wherever you go!" However, you decided to bash and belittle the clan on your way out, and that's what I objected to.
-
I play, it's a fantastic game. We should get a 5 person xG premade going, I think that'd be good fun.

I know some people are intimidated by my long posts, but I'm a quick typer and they really aren't all that much trouble to write. It's hardly the impassioned speech that its length would portend it to be.

Silence has recently added a ton of new stuff to the servers. Our minigames server is keeping a steady population now. We might be getting a new box soon, just for kicks. We just recently added a TF2 division. This clan's growing a lot, and it's getting better all the time. Now, you'll be like, "No, the people are ****!" but I want you to tell me all the people you've seriously given a chance in the clan. Usually when you post you're talking to the same handful of people, and that handful is getting smaller. The members haven't changed -- your friendgroup has. Now, if you don't want to spend the time to get to know the new people in the clan, that's all well-and-good, by all means sir. You have no obligation to try and socialize with people. However, you can't tell me that the people are **** -- there's plenty of fantastic members that have joined semi-recently (King J, Zehdari, and SnowyHW, just to roll off a few examples). That's stupid, it's ignorant, and it's disrespectful to people that really don't deserve it. You've made the decision not to give them the time of day, to write them off, and to proclaim that they weren't worth getting to know in the first place. THAT is why you do not enjoy xG, and unless your modus operandi changes, and THAT is why you will only enjoy any other community you join in the future for a brief time before you decide that it's golden age has ended and you want out. To reiterate something I said in a separate thread, people come, people go, and if you focus more on the people going than the people coming, you're going to spend your time with the glass half empty. First of all, unless you're in your twenties, throwing around the word "children" is just typical high school lower-than-me-is-bad arbitrary nonsense. We're all in our teens here, and we have perfectly fine members who are young (Otherworldly is a good example). It's really silly to me to be throwing age-related invectives to people only a few years younger than you are, and also slightly hypocritical. Second of all, for every idiot you name I can provide you two great people in this clan. Sure, some of it may be matter of opinion, but I guarantee you that you are no better than half of the people here. Get off your high horse and stop holding your nose as you look down at us lowly peons. The large majority of this clan is just as interesting and fun to talk to as you are. Honestly, if you would deign to mingle with us mortals, I'd think you'd find that many of us are worth knowing -- unfortunately, you've decided to scoff and laugh and ridicule everybody else instead. Which is, by the way, a great social skill. I'm not denying you that there are ridiculous people in this clan. Individuals like DuckiiJr, CharcoPandaKid, and MajorB always make me chuckle when they post. There ARE annoying individuals in this clan, but the thing is, there are annoying people in every community, you just learn to ignore them so you can enjoy the non-annoying people in the community. If you spend all your time looking at rock, you'll never see the ore. This is a valid point, and I would like to see it fixed. There should be a set number of moderators and admins, not some exponentially-growing number of members who have been in the clan for more than two months. However, I fail to see how this niggling concern ruins the clan experience as a whole. Yes, well, by shouting at how terrible everybody here is and labeling the members of xG a bunch of idiots and children, you've really done your part in counteracting the negativity. Believe it or not, the people who start drama about drama end up causing drama, and the people who hate people for hating people end up hating people. It's all very ironic. As a 420channer, this is the part where I belittle you for being a 4channer and feel a smug sense of superiority due to the fact that you visit a different image board than I do. But seriously dude, "summer fags" is only used by 2009+ users of the site, who are desperately trying to defer the noobishness of themselves onto other people. It's a stupid term and you should stop using it. Brian also sets up meaningless secret councils with like five random non-administrators to decide the fate of the clan. That's not organizing, that's just wasting time. Anyway, I've yet to see you try to rally the cause, sir, so you can't really sit back and complain how nobody's doing anything when you yourself are not doing anything. It's like driving to a "Go Green!" charity fund in your Humvee. In other words, Vero, I'm sure you're a nice guy and all and it's sad to see you go, but I really think you need to stop blaming the clan and start blaming yourself for the fact that you don't feel like you belong anymore.

I'm DysprosiumJudas, and I'll do things to your body for a price. Meet me at the general board at half past three. Cash only. You know what's up.

If they wanted to leave, why would they care about a one hour ban?

I think all of the anti-young member stuff is ********. I mean, honestly, I don't think age factors in at all in the good-bad scale: there's young people like Zehdari that I think are perfectly okay human beings, and then there are older people in this clan that I think are jackasses. It's not age. Sure, being older gives you some much-needed perspective in life that makes you take the game a 100x less seriously, but for the most part I think young people can still make good members and that the new guards against them are ridiculous. I know that with the recent dramafest over Colour leaving that we've had some whining about our newer members. Personally, though, I think that when people ***** about the new members being ****, it's just because none of them have made the effort to socialize with them. Usually people join, hang out and get to know the people there, get welcomed and become comfortable, and then never in turn welcome the members who walk in through the door themselves, so that when those old people leave there is nobody that they feel at home with. This, to me, is just a lack of social effort. Most of the old people that I thought were awesome when I was first getting into xG are gone or dying off, and since Colour left there legitimately is like one person that I had a lot of fun with in my "old days," and yet I still feel like I fit into the clan because I've made the effort to socialize and get to know the people who joined after me. I get online at 2 or 3AM, and I talk with whomever's there; my reward for that, I think, is that no matter WHO is online I feel comfortable. There's countless non-xG scrubs that I recognize and enjoy playing Jailbreak with now, all because I don't immediately press tab and count up everybody in my clique. If more people did that, then I think we'd have a 100% less complaints about the new members, because everybody would realize that they are just as cool as the ones who are leaving. So yeah, people come, people go, but everybody who constantly complains about the people coming being worse than the people going are almost always just too lazy to give the people who come a chance. They spent effort socializing with the OLD people, and so they don't want to have to start from scratch with new people. In a social environment like a clan, that's just a negative attribute all around. Anyway, I don't object to having the minimum number of vouches go up (even if it does mean that I'll have to actually browse the new member application board now), but adding extra gates to younger players seems ridiculous to me. I'd rather we judge them based on who they are, not what age they are. If they're cool enough to get 10 vouches, who gives a single **** that they were born in 1996 or whatever. They're interesting people, let's play CSS with them. TL;DR: I'm a pedophile, keep the youngin's comin'.

It's not surprising, he's been hinting at wanting to leave for awhile. It's a shame to see him finally go though. He was, in my opinion, the best moderator we had. 'Tis a shame, sir, 'tis a shame.

Haha wow bro. Anyway, while you may enjoy a map that is a soccer field and a pool and nothing else, many people don't, and when people land on either Razor map it's usually a quick RTV (hell, the funny part is a session of Electric Razor gets RTV'd then ****ing Summer Redux). It's a poorly-made map, one that only nostalgia could love. We don't need two of these maps. Either we should get rid of Razor Redone or we should get rid of Electric Razor. I'll admit Electric looks better than the shitty reskin in Redone, but Redone also offers several things that aren't in the initial Electric version (such as a Daft Punk soundwall lolwtf). Which one we remove isn't my concern. I suppose there are pros/cons to both options. However, in my opinion, it does seem pretty cut-and-dried that we should get rid of at least ONE of them.
-
We're currently running both Electric Razor and Razor Redone. The former is a terrible map. The latter is a bad-looking reskin of Razor that adds a roller coaster in pool, a high-spray wall, and a nightmare-inducing disco. We should get rid of one of them, since they're more or less the same map, and neither one is exceptionally popular (both result in quick RTV's). I would recommend keeping Razor Redone, as its literally the EXACT SAME map as Electric Razor, just with more stuff that makes it a less-shitty shitty Space Jail. In other words, remove Electric Razor, keep Razor Redone, absolutely nothing is lost and we clear up some trash in the map selection.

I think the initial idea of the new tag was to create more character space for usernames. Making the tag LONGER, then, is largely antithetical, and very ironic.
-
Also, apparently this map has a skybox 3x bigger than the actual map itself. Houston, we might have a problem.
-
Aren't we all, like, technically in the other clan since it's the same tag? I guess it's like a double-feature thing; join one clan, get in the other free!

Since you have decided that you want to speak in proper English, I have outlined a few mistakes that you have made and have detailed for you how to fix them. says THAT I should be Colon after me, not a comma. The rule of the serial comma dictates that there should be a comma after all items in the list besides the last one, including the one before the conjunction. Parenthetical statements have two primary modes, the tangent and the elucidation. The one in the quoted example is an elucidation, and therefore should not contain any capitalization. So the "S" should be a lower-case "s." Either you should put a "since" or a "because" between "forget" and "life," or you should place a semicolon there instead of a comma. You cannot link to separate sentences with a comma. does not mean THAT I will have any intention Place a comma after the me. A comma after the Snoopy, since this is a direct address. Thought, not though. However, this is probably just a typo and is not necessarily a grammatical mistake. 1. The punctuation should be inside the quotation mark. 2. Instead of a comma, you should use a period or an exclamation mark. "In fact" is, in fact, two words. However, "however" is one word. Remember, "I before E except after C (or a bunch of other arbitrary rules)!" There should be a comma after the "as," and the rest of the sentence should be in quotation marks. A comma after course. doesn't mean THAT I won't be on It, not this. Assured, not assure. I do not even know what that sentence is supposed to mean, but "talking" probably wasn't the best word to choose either way. There should be a period (or exclamation mark) after "forgive," a space between the quotation mark and the dash, another space between the dash and the 2, and a final space between the dash and the LOL. That is all.

Nice kid, plays often. +1

This is a positive thing and good job.

I don't know about you guys, but a twenty dollar bill appeared next to me the second I clicked on this thread, so it looks like it's working to me?
