  1. I'm plugging through the front jack with 3.5mm.

Have you tried different headphones/speakers to ensure the ones you're using aren't the problem?

Check the front audio header on your motherboard for any shorts, loose plug, etc. Follow the wires from the mobo to the front audio jacks and looks for any damage/shorts.

Try installing a new front audio port if all else fails. If you install a new port and the issue continues then it's probably the mobo.

  2. You call yourself mature, but get more butt hurt then everyone on this forum combined. You didn't hack shit, you made a batch script and failed to even do minimum damage.

$48,000 is what I was charged with. Had I contested it they could have charged me with more, such as lost revenue for each client site, etc. In the grand scheme of things, $48k is minimal, I agree.

You admitted in a Steam convo that I was one of the people you wanted around, and what xG needs. I'm not sure if butt hurt is the right term, but maybe it is... but I only called out the things and people that were causing problems. And for the most part you agreed.

I'm not here to argue that, you know the conversations we've had and I don't need to prove anything to anyone else.

  3. Some of the newer members are a hell of a lot cooler than you even give credit for.

Because "being cool" is what makes you mature and tolerable...

Seriously though, I don't think xG will be going anywhere, and I hope it doesn't. This clan and these people can be a good bunch and most of the people get along alright. It's hard for things to go smoothly for everyone which such a big group.

I've been around for just under a year and in that time I've seen a lot of change, and I've heard about a lot of change even before my time. People will come and go, it happens.

However, I will agree, that things seem to be on the down and out. No disrespect to any individual, but the average maturity level is plummeting - the trolls are trolling so hard that when a troll reports a troll the troll trolls the troll who trolled (well, you see where I'm going with this...).

But again, xG isn't going anywhere. I've seen xG in financial hardship, and I know there under-played and dead servers. Will it downsize? Maybe. Will things continue to change? Hopefully (for the better). But is it folding? No.

    My 2 cents.

  4. My Mentions notifications are still messed up.

When Silence finally fixed it it drop from 400-something to 10, which seemed right, but when I opened those 10 it still said 10.

Since then there's been 3 more. So, now 13, I opened the first 2 pages of comment notifications, but it only went down by 3. So I still have 10.

These 10 are from before Silence fixed whatever needed to be fixed, so is it possible I can't clear them because of that?

  5. +1

I really really don't want to dig up past threads, that's a lot of searching and digging and shit. But yeah, Chrono is a pretty bad apple. I don't think if I've ever posted (started) an official report or abuse thread on him, but I know I've voiced my opinion time and time again about him.

  6. remember that time you almost got co leader?

Kinda almost got it twice, actually. The other co's decided I wasn't ready and I respect them for that decision, and at this point I appreciate it lol

  7. Well, I'm off.

I'm expecting a whole slew of mixed reactions from this, and it's all good.

I've been working way too much to spend a considerable amount of time on xG's servers. I've never considered Admining a hindrance or a "job" - it's something I enjoyed doing, I like helping out in-game because I hate getting the short end of the stick just as much as the next guy.

A handful of events and people pushed me over the edge and rather than ragequitting I took a few days to chill and decided to come back to say good bye, so here it is.

In case of tl;dr - stop reading here.

I'll still be on xG's servers from time to time when I need my JB or MG fix, but for the most part I'll be playing other servers (which I've been doing for the last few months anyway).

I won't be keeping up on the forums, but I'll drop by from time to time. I really REALLY don't like having a clutter of people on my Steam but I'll add a few of you if you send requests, if you want to hit me up Facebook is your best bet (facebook.com/dave87everett) just inbox me so I know who you are.

I'll still donate from time to time when I need funds for bombs and such, and if by some odd chance I discover I still have mod powers in-game I'll use them for good, but I won't wear xG tags.

Thanks for the experience guys, see ya around. #serbian2013

No white text here. Do you seriously highlight everything you read?

  8. If it's really an overheating problem, you most likely have a serious fan problem. One might be clogged up. However, I may be wrong but between 70 and 100 degrees Celsius your computer wouldn't blue screen, it would just shut off.

Depends on the chip. Some under-clock until they cool down, some dump and cause bluescreen, some lock up and the PC freezes... while others push on and start behaving like he's describing (though, those that "push on" just keep going and going... until they literally burn up with smoke and sparks and everything.)

  9. That's an unusual stop code for a CPU overheating. Is it related? Could be. But when I researched the stop code I was seeing lots of issues with Windows and various Anti-Virus programs, specifically ZoneAlarm.

  10. Now that I'm home from work and have had some time to think, here's what I think...

We continue to perm ban as we have for offenses that deserve one. However, we make a little list of situations, rules, whatever, etc that could result in a perm ban being lifted after X days/weeks/months if the user makes an appeal and certain criteria are met. This list could be kept internal if needed to prevent abuse.

This way, if someone gets permed that don't automatically get unbanned (by changing "perm" to 6 months, for example), but we still have a set of guidelines that can be used for certain situations. This way these types of ban appeals can be handled more evenly and fairly.

  11. McNeo perhaps spend ten minutes in the server with him

If he is breaking any rules, feel free to get demos and post your own threads regarding him.

THIS thread is not about him, is actions, or forum content - and should not be taken into consideration. This is a ban request, with proof, regarding you. That is the issue that is at hand here.

If you want to report his actions, start a new thread for that.

  12. he is also forum banned and a trouble maker

Not going to chime in on the ban issue here since I haven't watched the demo. But Matsi is forum banned for an unrelated incident, and even so, another person's bans have no weight on your own, so it's kind of a moot point because it's something you can't really compare.

Also, from what I've seen, Matsi isn't a trouble maker, he gets good proof of infractions on players and staff a like and does the right thing by reporting it.
