I already banned him once, so this is his second ban. I banned him the first time for breaking rules and mass freekilling, but that wasn't before he has a screaming match at me in Steam. He said that the rules didn't apply to anyone, and he used that exact phrase. "What rules?"

He promised to improve and said there were no hard feelings, but it appears he will not change.

Reasons: Ignoring/Disrespecting Staff, disregarding server rules, player disrespect, trolling, and an intent to cause a disturbance.

I'll leave it open for a little while more for any extra comments.

I mean, there really aren't any Halloween noise makers. Are there? They were spammed constantly so no one could hear the warden, so we just disabled them.

I cannot teamban him unless he physically joins the servers again. I apologize for not being on (I'm still sick). Next time just do a week teamban and ask us to extend it (you can send a message on the forums or steam).

TF2 is flooding sourcecomms with temporary session based mutes. It's improper for these to be synced to the website, and makes it extremely difficult to find legitimate communication bans. And it can heavily bloat the MySQL database creating infrastructure problems down the road.

Add better way to achieve the mute effect is to set the client listening flag to muted. This is exactly how mutes work on a lower level. Passing it through the mute command creates an unneeded recording effect; specially, when a client isn't being muted by a moderator.

Well one, if you want to be unbanned you need to fill out a "protest a ban" form, not an abuse report. You don't protest two bans in one post; if waldo wants to protest his, then he needs to make a separate one. Three, from the numerous times that whyte has told me about you and your friend doing these "easter eggs", it's not like you don't know the rules.

You and your friend constantly exploit and refuse to listen to staff. Not only that, you proceed to talk shit about them behind their backs saying that they are abusive and don't know how to do their jobs. If you don't like it, protest your ban and provide actual evidence to report abuse.

Admins have had access to the flag "ADMFLAG_VOTE", though the donator "package" has direct access to the command "sm_vote" as an override. Potentially, within SourceBans Command Overrides someone has added an override that makes "sm_vote"'s only ADMFLAG into "ADMFLAG_CUSTOM5" or anything similar for donators. Which results that even though "ADMFLAG_VOTE" should have access to SM_VOTE, the override overrides this and changes the flag.

Long story short, the donator package just uses the command directly; whereas, we still have the flag. That means we don't need the sourcebans override. If so, I've removed it from the sourcebans override, so it has reverted to it's original flag.

It was crashing the servers before. I don't believe it was ever updated.
