God damit, you Literally just got dem tags. Oh well, so long as you'll still be around, that's fine with me mate. It is a shame that you resigned membership though </3
-
Congratulations to all of those who have been promoted! And a special shout out to a sexy new mod as well as admin (John and Diabeetus, in that order)

Never met you, never got to know you, don't play TF2. However I can say that you did not waste Our time, and although I do not know you, it's always a shame to see a member leave. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours mate! - Dat guy, Forest

I thought those classes already had perks? Last I checked the Swat class gets lower gravity, the Medic class gives the ability to heal allies, Sniper class.. Well, gives you an o/p rifle and Support.. I have no freakin' idea.

All in all, ScubaCat, calm down on the hate. Seriously. It's over a spray. You're blowing the top off way out of proportion, and it's unnecessary. ShadowSpy, please follow the procedure when dealing with problems such as this. EDIT: Duckii beat me to closing it by a minute ;/
-
Alright, bottom line here is that Scuba Cat has had "inappropriate" sprays in the past. ShadowSpy, an admin, found his spray to be inappropriate/offensive. If a Mod/Admin wants you to change your spray, you must change your spray. There are no exceptions if you are asked by a staff member. However; be that as it may, Scuba Cat should have been warned before leading to a 5 minute ban. The second time Scuba rejoined, he disrespected ShadowSpy and his spray Still had not been changed, leading to another 5 minute ban. Coming onto our forums and blatantly disrespecting in an aggressive behaviour in shoutbox is uncalled for. If you two have a problem with each other, solve it in a private chat. We don't want another "Duplolas vs Aubri" situation going on forums (No offense Duplo). I want to hear what @@ScubaCat has to say on the matter, and I want him to know that this behaviour will no longer be tolerated. Also, @@shadowspy I understand he has a past of inappropriate sprays, but this does not mean you may by-pass the proper procedure for dealing with this sort of thing. It will Always be in the following order: Warning to change spray, giving atleast one round for it to be changed > Gag (Only if arguing) > Kick > Ban for 5 If they have the same spray and continue to rejoin without changing it, lengthen the ban by 5 minutes each time until the spray is changed. - Dat guy, Forest

Alright, you got a few mistakes in your Application, but it's all good! Here are some things you should consider editing in your post! A. Wrong Steam ID - You can find your Steam ID here: Steam ID Finder B. The Division refers to what Game Division, in this case, Team Fortress 2 (TF2) I can't give my input, but I can point you in the right direction! If you can't edit your Post, just comment on it with those edits! Good luck in getting your vouches mate - Dat guy, Forest

Found a great Icon for Threat Management (In other words, Clan Management): I personally edited the badge there, just cause. @autumn

#Mathieu4Membership It's great that you're taking the task of creating an official xG map for CS:GO! I may only be a CS:S player, but you have my full support in this endeavour mate!

What about the possibility of a temporary sort of Time-table? It could possibly boost the activity on our extra servers. What I mean is, from a certain point in time to another, a server is "active" for a couple of hour(s), and then during the next couple of hour(s) another server is active. It would look something like this for example: Counter Strike: Source - (10:00 ~ 11:00) xG RPG Surf - (12:00 ~ 1:00) xG Awp/Scout - (1:00 ~ 2:00) xG Mini Games - (2:00 ~ 3:00) xG Death Run - Etc This would allow a sizeable portion of our players to try out our new servers with a bunch of members, and it may even result in that server being slightly more popular then before (This time-table will only be there as a sort of test run, and will not be permanent). I mean, what do we got to lose? If something like this Does happen (Should be on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday) we will need the full co-operation of our current CS:S staff members as well as active players to make this work. Any thoughts? - Dat guy, Forest

Internal Management?: (No idea if pic size is too much, lol) Website Management?: (Again, big pic, but I think it matches the color scheme of xG) Just leaves Clan Management left btw

Well, some people say my Bark is worse then my bite. Some people also say that I'm a poor Sap. Although I'm also a pretty Hard worker, and by the end of the day I'm completely Bushed. All in all, I have to say that I'm a pretty Poplar guy among friends, and I'm not just Sprucing up what I think I'm like. But even then, I'll admit that from time to time I can be a Shady character. ... .. . I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. But I'm going to go out on a Limb here and say that Yew guys had it coming. - Dat guy, Forest

Instead of raising the number of vouches, I suggest that the Member Application must have At least one (or perhaps two?) Staff Member's thumbs-up in addition to the respective requirement of vouches for their Division (this does not mean a +1 from them, merely just a "I allow this"). Also, if something like what I mentioned is implemented, the Staff Member must have watched the person over a period of at least a week to ensure they're xG material. Mind you, the Staff Member must not be bias and give them a +1 just because they are a bud or friend. That's what I think, I mean you can increase the number of vouches, but I think giving Mods/Admins more of a "hands on" experience on forums is a good thing. They'll have experience in determining whether or not someone is a good fit for xG and will gain a unique sense of responsibility outside of servers. - Dat guy, Forest

Broke my heart. Legit. I don't know if you can still be the holder of my tree saplings </3. You better still play as much as you currently do, and you better be on TS3 as well. Jk, you're still my holder bb. <3

Closing thread due to: A. Improper Format B. Failing to meet Requirements C. Wrong Section Please make a new thread with the correct format. Under Division you should put the Gaming Division you're interested in (IE. CS:S, CS:GO, TF2, GMod). Also note that lying about previously being in xG is a bad idea, considering you'll need More vouches then the standard requirement, as well as the "thumbs-up" from two Co-Leaders. You can not apply for a Moderator/Administrator status if you are a non-member, however you may purchase Paid Moderator/Administrator status. ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods

Rather then posting a new thread, I will continue off of this one. I apologize for my inactivity, but I am still currently settling into the new home. Furniture still needs to be moved, and i'm the only one available to help out in moving things. I'll get on TS3/forums/CS:S as much as I can, but in the mean time I can't guarantee a lot of activity for the most part. Again, I apologize guys! Happy gaming. - Dat guy, Forest

The thing is, everyone wouldn't be so upset if it weren't for the amount of immature and arrogant behaviour that Towelie has shown during his time with xG (and more-so after that). TL;DR - Towelie has messed up many times, and there are perfectly valid reasons as to why so many members dislike and disapprove of his "duplicating" of a community of which is roughly based off of XenoGamers. Whenever Towelie did not get his way in something, he would immediately blow a fuse and start throwing a tantrum to get everyone's attention. He was never open minded in any conflict or arguments, and was always trying to defend himself, even when it was blatantly his fault for messing up in whatever way. He would literally Not give up until the thread was actually closed. His pride and ego were far too blown-up to the point of bursting. Now, when Towelie decided he wanted to do something to 'help' the community, he ended up buying the Paid Moderator status. Almost immediately (A day or two) upon gaining his powers, he was demoted for abuse of his position/rank (https://xenogamers.com/showthread.php?t=13239) Some time after this, he was banned for one hour during a scrim game for legitimate reasoning, and once again proceeded to post a thread in which he plead his blatant mistake. ([PLAIN][xG:DJ]Towlie The Wizard[/PLAIN]) A short time afterwards, he left xG with a 'Goodbye' thread in which he continued disrespecting. ([PLAIN][xG:DJ]Towlie The Wizard[/PLAIN]) This is when it went too far. Five days after his resignation, a new group surfaced with the name "Anti-xG" (Steam Community :: Group :: ANTI XG [Anti-Xg]) which to this day is still very much alive. The group owner was none other then Towelie. As you can see in the link provided, the description involves some very hostile and aggressive attitude toward our community. A couple of weeks later, Towelie decided that he would Re-apply for membership to our community ([xG]Towlie The Wizard). Note that in the link provided, Towelie claims that if he gets back into xG he will close the Anti-xG group. This was implying that if he were not to be accepted, it would still be up; and was also being used as a sort of threat. Again, up to this day the group is still alive. About a week later, Towelie has already joined another community with the name of "Inferno Gamers". He then proceeds to go onto our XenoGamers Teamspeak server, and advertise his new clan. Shortly after this, he is forum banned. (Hey Autum check this out.) What I have listed so far are several "highlights" of Towelie's blunders, in which he was given much leniency and many chances. After reading all of the above, you can get an idea of why xG members would be outraged and frustrated that he would start his own clan of which is a crude "parallel" XenoGamers, and then continue to copy and paste our work to be used for his community. I am in no way intentionally being hostile toward Towelie, so much as I am describing why he is so disliked among us. - Dat guy, Forest

Not only are you not providing any proof, but you're posting about a single CT who managed to get away scot-free because we did not witness it happening. With your logic, we should just start slaying anyone without question who gets a complaint on freekilling/baiting/gunplanting. I'm sorry that we can't be watching everything 24/7, but you know better then to post a thread about something as trivial as this when it could have been resolved ingame with you accepting the fact that we do not have eyes on every single CT. Next time you post a thread for the sole purpose of trolling like this, you Will be forum banned. Closing this thread due to stupidity and ignorance. ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods

Holy hell, at this point I'm going to start saying "Take a step out of your cell, face your cell and afk freeze. If you cannot leave a knife mark on the left or right of your cell opening at your current location, you will be killed." Even then, that's a hell of a lot to say. We don't have this as a current rule, and I highly doubt it ever will be. However; you can obviously use logic that One Step out of your cell is One Step, meaning you should be in close proximity of your cell. If you really find it that much of a problem, if you're warden just say "You must be within a reasonably close distance from your cell."

This is currently being discussed with the higher-ups. What has come up is an implementation to the motd rules where Camping will not result in a slay (under certain circumstance) unless the Campers are delaying the round any further then it should be. IE. Camping when a T has already been deemed LR as the reward, etc.
