  1. "Are CTs allowed to go rebel hunting without SEEING a rebel or getting permission from the warden?" - Definitely not. In no way is this implied Anywhere in the MotD Rules. The MotD Rules state that CTs must be with Ts at All times. CTs are not permitted to go "rebel hunting" unless they have physically Seen a Rebel, or are ordered to by the Warden. There was a discussion a while back regarding this, and many players/members have been misinterpreting it. The discussion was whether or not CTs had to ask for permission from the Warden to Pursue a Rebel. This discussion ended with CTs being able to PURSUE a REBEL without the permission from Warden. No where in the discussion was "CTs can leave the Ts if under suspicion of a Rebel" established. Long story short, people have been lead to believe that you can go looking for rebels whenever you want. You may not just randomly go searching for Rebels unless you physically saw one, or were ordered to by the Warden. @@Gkoo @@PiNoYPsYcHo @@DarkWolf6052 @@diabeetus @@Lollerskater @@snakeboyeric @@TheAlpha31 @@DeathGod @@Unit12p @@Chrono @ShdowSpy @@Cristo @@Gawd @@Trente @@Sporky @@orangejuice @@ItsAaron @@lEcho @@arvelez @@JINGS @Vector @@Mythic @@Wing @@Kirito @@John @@Jordozombie @@AbrahamL @@Phantom @TheLostCause @@Black_Rock @@Hidingmaster @@SuperNarwhal @@Superkiller67 @@Sarcast1cninja Upon request that all Staff Members be made aware of this rule. 2. Alright! After looking over your application, you have more then enough vouches! However; we have to give at least 24 hours before accepting anyone. Unless you get a buttload of minus 1s by tonight, I think you're pretty much a shoe-in Eden!
  3. Er, my apologies for my lengthy post, but I hope that answers most/if not all of your questions Mega.
  4. I'm really liking the color scheme. Of course if this does end up being the new XenoGamers logo, the color scheme of the site would have to match. Loving that Cyan/Teal/Whatever with black. +1

    Quick Question

I honestly have to say, I believe this was kind of wrong as well. I can understand if the position was completely open with no 'runner-ups' and there was a dire need for someone to fill in (in which case Warriors due to his experience), but Mythic has been working his ass off for the MC division from what I've seen/heard. I don't find it fair at all to give away a position that Mythic has definitely Earned to someone who has just recently rejoined (Ily Warriors). I'm sure if anyone were to put themselves into Mythic's position, you would feel pretty bummed out and you would definitely feel a sense of disrespect (couldn't think of a better word). I'm sure I would. Mythic is a humble guy, which is why he hasn't said anything btw. Just how I feel on the subject. - Dat guy, Forest
  6. Before I even say anything, keep in mind that MotD Rules > Whatever Staff Members say, UNLESS whatever it is you're dealing with is NOT implemented or in the MotD Rules, in which case it is up to a Staff Member to clarify. That being said, i'll give my opinion on the Questions/Statements you have written down (my apologies for a lengthy post); "If a T enters a 'cheap spot' instead of a vent, are you allowed to kill them?" - This is a perfect example of what is/isn't explained via the MotD Rules. No where in the rules does it say that entering a Cheap Spot deems you as a Rebel. This is completely up in the air and differs from each Staff Member's opinion. As Shadow said, it depends on the context of this "Cheap Spot". Does it have a weapon in it such as the Tele Tower in 'Lego', or the AWP window on 'electric_razor'? Or is it just a Hidden Area such as on 'blackout'? Depending on the area, we Staff Members have to make a call because it is not determined in the MotD Rules. "If the Warden orders a T and CT to knife fight, (not during pokemon/thunderdome) is it only allowed if both T/CT agrees? - If both parties are willingly up for it, then I don't see why not. However; the Warden Cannot force it if the T is not in agreeance. This is due to the fact that the Warden cannot order a T to kill a CT. "During a Joke Day, if 2/3 or 3/3 of the judges say "Die" before the T even says his joke, are you allowed to kill him?" - Again, there is nothing in the MotD Rules in which covers this sort of scenario. It is up to the Staff Members who are on to make a call and give their judgement. I honestly do not condone killing a T when the joke has not been stated, as it is a Joke Day, not some sort of 'Executioner Day'. Consider this; If you were able to vote on the T before the Joke is given, what's stopping the CTs from voting No/Die to All of the Ts until the minimum amount of Ts are left? "During any opinionated games (FR LR, Trivia (or something)), And the warden says "warden kills only" and the T who is suppost to get shot runs away/stacks with another T intentionally, are you allowed to kill them?" - Regardless of whether or not it is 'Warden kills only', if at any point a T chooses to Rebel, they are Kill on Sight by anyone. "During LR, if a CT intentionally freeshoots a T or freetazes, is he allowed to be slain?" - Is the Terrorist rebelling? No, he isn't. The taser is only to be used against Rebels. However; I believe that if the Terrorist is fine with such actions (asking for it, etc) then it is acceptable. If at any point the T is freeshot or freetazed in a manner in which they did not want it, they are able to request a slay for the CT. Again, depending on the scenario, Staff Members must make the call and give their judgement. Freetazing as deemed by the MotD Rules is a slayable/teambannable offense. Freeshooting is not slayable. However; if it is intentionally being done (the CT is continuously shooting a T, meaning to harass them/lower their health) then the appropriate course of action would be to slay the offender. "During LR, if the T does russian roulette, and places the CT in an area with guaranteed death (pit of doom, door, etc), is that allowed?" - Because there are no rules for this, it is up to the Staff Members to give their opinion/judgement on the matter. "During LR, if the T plays Deagle on Air, is the rule "Must be in the air at all times" implied?" - Yes, because although we do not have a determined preset of rules for 'Deagle on Air', there is always a "No Cheating Is Implied" rule in general for All Last Requests. Unless stated otherwise by the T, you should be doing whatever it is that the Last Request implies (IE. Knife Fight implies you use Knives only, Shotgun Wars implies you use Shotguns only, Deagle on Air implies you use your Deagle in the Air, etc) "During LR, if a T "Orders" you to do something, (i.e. all CTs stack up on my spray), are you suppost to do it?" - No. The T may only give "orders" to the CT they are playing against in their Last Request. CTs however, must be in the same area as the T during Last Request at all times. 7. There's your answer bb. Need 20 vouches and a thumbs-up from at least 1 Co-Leader and must have given it atleast a month (except for Neo). It was always a rule under anyone who is reapplying to xG.
  8. Who's saying there won't be? ;)

    Bug Reports!

Also, I got a problem when trying to quote someone. First off, normally you would highlight whatever amount of words, and a small bubble will pop up just below saying "Quote me!" Well the problem I'm facing (don't know if it's happening to anyone else) is pretty annoying. Whenever I highlight whatever to quote, I noticed that the side-scroll bar extends for whatever reason. After this, I can scroll Pretty far down, seeing an endless blue background until I hit the bottom, where out of the blue (literally, out of the blue background) the "Quote me!" bubble is at the bottom of the page. Provided is a picture of the highlight, and then a picture of the "Quote me!" bubble at the bottom of the page. Also note the placement of the side-scroll bar. @autumn
  10. Please provide more information as well as follow the proper format/template when giving vouches, otherwise your vouch will be disregarded. Follow the link provided for an example: Member Submission Guidelines. (Read) Unless I miscounted, you are at 6 vouches in total (counting the negatives as well). I am going to leave this thread open over this weekend due to the fact that you have recently received feedback. This thread has until Monday to receive the full 10 vouches required!
  11. I hear ya. What I believe is really attracting people to HG is the amount of plugins/trails/models/etc they have. I know this is CS:GO discussion, but's fairly the same thing that's happened with CS:S. We used to have around 50+ during the day, and around 15+ people during the night. Then, kaput.
  12. Alright, this thread is getting nowhere fast. The point has been made that this is the kind of stuff to be expected when you're playing a game with a bunch of other players. This kind of stuff Will happen, and the only thing to do is to stop taking it seriously, as well as learn to take a joke every now and then. No one is out to get anyone, some players just like to see the world burn. #Closed ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods

  17. Congratulations to all who were promoted! Special shout out to our two newest CS:S Moderators as well :D
  18. If you hover your mouse over one, it drops down a menu, and if you move your mouse and hover over another, it should close the previous menu and drop down a new one. Don't know why they're all staying shown for you. Best way to get out of it is to just click on any part of the background. It'll close the drop-down menu.
  19. I'm not sure if it has been patched or changed yet, but the !pass command only works for the person who called Warden. Staff members are unable to pass it, mind you I noticed this last night. I didn't really mind not having the plugin, it really reminded me of a younger Jailbreak. We can have it, or we can not have it, either way is fine with me
  20. For the sake of everyone, this is the most recent addition to the "Camping" rule that is in the new motd rules. Camping: Being within 10 feet of the same location for more than 15 seconds, unless instructed to by a Warden. It does not matter how many entrances there are. This is not a slayable offense, unless last CT is in effect or the "Camper" is within an area or it is during a special day that prohibits camping IE, Wardays, vents, armory, cheap spots (deemed by mod/admin). T's may not camp if it means delaying the round any further. Doing so will result in a slay. (IE, Two terrorists left, one is camping and is therefore delaying the round. This applies to any number of terrorists left if lr has already been guaranteed.) I hope this will clear things up with everyone.
  21. Alright, but in all seriousness, what would you have us do? The moments when you tell us people are disrespecting you, are when they are saying things like "fuck you" in reply to an order or in reply to something you said. With that in mind, it's established that it isn't disrespect if the player is just replying to a certain scenario or something that really allows it (IE. The player gets killed by you, and therefore says "FUCK YOU". They are mad that they got killed, but they really don't have anything against you Personally.) As for the whole Warden ordeal, you may think you got it first, but as Chrono stated, we have to determine who we as Staff Members think got Warden first due to the lack of a Warden Plugin (which is actually up now), no matter how much you believe you got it. If a Staff Member says otherwise, then you should just listen to them, do not try to argue and discuss it as we are merely trying to get the round going instead of delaying it any further. We have nothing against you, or anyone for that matter. It is just our job to prevent arguments and fights that may end up delaying the round. So, with that all being said, you really have to realize that it is only a game. People do not always mean the things they say, and even if they do, it's not something you should take to heart. They are just playing to have a good time, and I understand you want to have a good time as well. The only thing I can suggest is taking things more lightly, or if you really hate all the criticism you get, don't try to be Tute or LollerSkater (no offense guys, you do great as warden, <3 you). The way they Warden just screams for Terrorists to get angry, and that's how they prefer to do it. If you don't want a lot of hate, do what the Terrorists want to do, and it will minimize the amount of assholes/jerks who disrespect and complain. - Dat guy, Forest

  23. Please provide more information or your +1 will be disregarded. Follow the link provided to see the proper format/template when dealing with vouches! Member Submission Guidelines. (Read) Also, pertaining to this application: This is a quote from when you posted your resignation. I'm not sure if you were leaving because friends were, or because you truly believed xG would fail, but either way, you shouldn't post a resignation saying something like this if you mean to rejoin. Whitestar was one of the moderators in our CS:S division, and he did a fairly good job when moderating. He stuck to the rules, and didn't cause too much trouble. However; after his resignation, I saw a Whitestar who insisted on trolling and generally being disrespectful on the server. The opening sentence as well as the couple following it in this Member Application is almost enough to make me -1 it alone. A: 7/10 - Activity is almost where it should be, he is a commonly known player and is on Jailbreak every now and then. As for teamspeak, barely, even when he was a Moderator (which is a must for staff members). M: 5/10 - Major issue here in terms of maturity. There is a lot of blatant disrespect as well as moments where he blew his top and made some wrong moves, mind you this is before And after his resignation from xG. D: -1 I believe in second chances as much as the next guy, but I sincerely think you need to check with the attitude. Resigning from xG with what you said, and then reapplying as if you expect us to be begging you to come back is just as egotistical as you can get, and it's really not something to be proud of. If I see a noticeable difference, then i'll reconsider, but at the moment, I do not agree with how you are acting. - Dat guy, Forest
