xG is too easy to get into not because of the rules, but because of several hundred people +1'ing apps without giving valid reasoning or just because they want to get their post count up. If members actually took the time to watch one applicant for say, a few days, then give their input, you would notice a lot less people being accepted. Another reason is the applicant's friends bombarding with +1s. Raising the amount of vouches required won't fix this problem, it'll just take more time for people to inevitably get accepted. Now, pertaining to the thread. As McNeo stated, this is up for debate in the Admin group and it is currently being worked with. Ban list for offending player: Xeno Gamers So it would seem the "past" owner was somewhat of a rule breaker. You were CT banned in July of 2012, with multiple and consecutive counts of freekilling as well as general rule breaking. Unfortunately, the mod/admin who dealt the permanent ban is now gone (If I remember correctly, abused his powers by slaying everyone then was banned?) so we can't hear their take on this whole thing. It has now been half a year since any of the offenses, and I personally believe this guy deserves a second chance (Previous owner or not). However; be aware that if you Are unbanned, you will be kept under close watch. If you somehow manage to get yourself perm'd again, you will Not be given another chance, this includes a CT ban as well as a Server ban. You have been warned mate - Dat guy, Forest

So it has come to my attention that as days pass without the "Warden" plugin, a lot of confusion and frustration has been going around lately. Arguments on who called it first and on who literally called it by giving orders is another problem. I'm posting this thread with the hope that we can have a temporary fix (Until the plugin is re-implemented or rather IF it is). Now back when we Didn't have this plugin, Warden was called Vocally in phrases such as the following: "I Call Warden" "I'll be your warden for today" "I'm Warden" Etc. Now I may not be like you fancy city folk with your fancy plugins and such, but I reckon we go back to them olden days. What I mean by this, is simply the following: The round begins with a CT calling Warden, if there is any confusion (Multiple CTs calling it), any current Moderator/Administrator will deem who called it first, and the day will continue on. If the Warden wishes to pass it, it will be Vocally passed as such "I pass my Warden onto [insert Name]". Now, "Warden" may Only be passed to someone who has a mic, otherwise it remains with the current CT who is Warden. The predecessor Must give at least One order before they are permitted to pass it on to someone else, however; it may Not be passed back to the previous CT who had "Warden" if they do not wish to have it. (This is to prevent a situation of "Hot Potato" with "Warden") These are just my thoughts on the matter, what do you guys think? +1 to abide by these hopefully Temporary rules, or to just keep going as it is?

I Really don't want to seem like a total asshole, but I don't know if I can make any exceptions, even though Papi is a great guy. This is in no way an act of hostility toward Papi, and should not be treated as such. If you really wanted to know what it felt like to mass free kill, why take it to the xG Jailbreak server? Why the server where you moderated for two years? There are many other servers in which you could have chosen to do so. The only viable reason I see that you did it here was that you believed you would be let off easily, and again, this is in no way supposed to be treated as hostility, i'm just assuming, so correct me if i'm wrong. I'm sorry, but I can't condone actions like this with the reasoning provided here, it's just not something that should be let off easily. I completely disagree with the removal of this rule for many reasons. First of all, as Loller has stated, it really depends on the scenario or the context of the order itself. It is one of those rules where Legally it is right, however it is Ethnically wrong to send that CT to their death. Now, in some cases people will deem it Unjust to send a CT to an area with rebels in it. If this were the case, nothing would be achieved until either that T comes out and continues to rebel, or receives a pardon. What if that T continues to decline that pardon? Also be aware that a T can camp that area unless it is deemed a cheap spot or is a vent, making the whole round delay even further. What if it is already 0:00? Not only is this delaying the round, but it's causing too many problems. This is why the Warden is entitled to command the CTs. The warden him/herself should Not have to search for rebels. I cannot even agree with Chrono's suggestion (as diabeetus said), because something like that could also delay the round even further. All in all, this is something that really can't be solved without making it even worse then it already is. LollerSkater did not do anything wrong, however I wouldn't have instigated a threat with a slay for something like this. Now i'm not sure if what Warriors said is exactly quoted from Loller, but a simple reminder that it is a slayable offense would suffice. In this sort of situation, I would have offered a pardon for the rebel in order to keep the round from delaying any further. If they decline the pardon, then I would have sent both CTs in after them. I myself would go with them, however a CT should be with the non-rebelling T at all times. In conclusion, what LollerSkater did was justified and does not require some sort of talking-to. I would merely suggest that Loller be more lenient at times like this to prevent any further delay of the round before resorting to what he did. -1 for the removal of the rule, as well as for the implementation of a 'clause' - Dat guy, Forest

We actually had one before. It was Like/Dislike if I remember correctly. I believe it was removed due to a couple occasions where it was abused in a sense that a couple people were Liking/Disliking almost every post of some members, and it greatly bothered them.. I'm not entirely sure..

I'm not saying I don't agree with you, because I completely agree in saying that any mod/admin who tries to avoid the penalty is abusing their rank. Any mod or admin who has broken the server rules should in fact deal with the punishment rather then avoiding and trying to sidestep it by pulling the "I'm higher ranked so I can make an exception". In all honesty, any Moderator or Administrator who tries their hardest to avoid the penalty even when they're in the wrong isn't mature enough to just deal with it. However; this thread is only pertaining to people posting in the wrong sections and the consequences of such. I'm posting this thread because these threads/posts that are targeting mods/admins are being placed in the wrong sections and because of that; mods/admins are being let off easy due to lack of evidence pertaining to the problem at hand.

Before you start calling people out on things, I will remind you that we literally do not have any requirements on being a Paid Moderator/Administrator. All that is required of the individual is the cash up front from what I've seen. Given that information, it is fairly common to have Paid Moderators/Paid Administrators who are hazy on the motd rules for their respective divisions. Therefore, is it not possible, even in the Slightest bit, that in this particular case, he had forgotten the Guncheck Freeze rule and needed to be reminded? I'm not saying it's 100%, I'm merely saying there may be a remote chance that he had.

If a CT instructs a T to drop a gun, you wouldn't expect that same T to pick it back up almost right after he dropped it, right? "Tarping" is a general action that involves many different situations. It all depends on the context of the "Tarp" itself. First off, any order that contradicts another order is considered a Tarp. An example of such would be Restricting Jumping and then proceeding to tell all Terrorists to participate in B-hop, or even play a game of First/Last Reaction. Another action that invokes a Tarp, is an Invalid order. An example of this would be a CT who is NOT warden, giving an order for Ts to relocate to another area. You can tarp to your heart's content after 5:00 (On CS:S, not sure for CS:GO) although I would refrain from doing so because it almost always ends up with free killing and confusion among both the Terrorists and Counter Terrorists. Now, pertaining to the thread itself. A Gun Check Freeze UNLESS SPECIFIED, implies that you are to look Away from cells and afk freeze. Honestly, with something like this, it's difficult to find out whether the intention to tarp was there, or if it was a real question. Although I will agree, that as a CT you should Not ask a question that may or may not confuse the Ts in All chat or over the Mic. This is what Team Chat is for. - Dat guy, Forest
