The pic shows the offending Staff member slaying everyone, a command which should not be used unless given a valid reason. Unfortunately, there is no reason shown for the slay, and to add further insult to injury, the offending Staff seems to have "forgotten" why/when they did it . And to dig the hole even further, this particular staff member happens to be a Paid Moderator, a rank that is given much less "leash" in terms of slipping up. Given all that, it just isn't looking good to me. If checking chat logs were a possibility, that would be nice, but those are non-existent for our Minigames Server. Someone tag Karch in this so he can hopefully provide some background information, I don't know his forum name.

Mfw someone uses a slay@all command and doesn't remember why they did it. Btw, this screenshot was not taken by myself. It was posted in ShoutBox the other night.

Division: Counter-Strike: Source Staff Name: xG: PM PaperCreeper Staff's Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:40801204 Evidence: Not sure what the context is here. No one else seems to want to post it, but I will cause I'm curious to know since a Paid Moderator used the slay@all command. Would like to know why if there was a justifiable reason.

Any other person could mass freekill intentionally a few years ago and I would still remain where I stand. Its one thing to mass unintentionally (which is why they are allowed to protest their ban and possibly get unbanned) but to mass intentionally is a whole different story. Anyone who does so realizes the consequences of their actions and should have to deal with said consequences. To be honest, I think there should be a new policy that states that those who intentionally mass freekill may not protest their ban, simply because its stupid to even consider letting someone off the hook for something they thought would be funny or whatever. Maybe I'm just being a hard-ass, but letting anyone go for intentionally breaking our rules just shows weakness. If you're hell-bent on getting unbanned, just like anyone else, you can try the few options given here: Want to get unbanned? | Xeno Gamers I'm sorry that I provoked you into doing it, but that doesn't excuse the fact that you did it regardless. Nothing against you personally (just as I've said in the other threads) as I would say the exact same thing to anyone else who intentionally mass'd. Hell, I even -1'd that baddie Papi. - Dat guy, Forest

@ASock and @Maymalays are still tied. Winner will be decided two hours from now (given that the tie is broken). Someone rate one or the other, or you two just do rock paper scissors or some shit.

Permanent means never, unless given a reason to be unbanned. I would suggest taking a look at this thread Want to get unbanned? | Xeno Gamers . Judging by your history, I doubt that any amount of activity would result in an unban considering you were permanently banned once before. Of course I may be wrong since people may still be lenient toward this sort of thing :coffee:

I always found that if orders contradicted themselves it is the Warden's fault if it results in a freekill. An example of such would be restricting jumping until said otherwise at the beginning of the round, and then doing FR/LR later on without unrestricting jumping. However, in this case, since it involves Simon Says, its safe to say that every order given prior to the game (IE. Jumping was restricted, crouching was restricted, etc) is now null and void. I honestly think that it should be mentioned in MoTD in regards to Simon Says to prevent this sort of situation from occurring. To answer your question, I would jump given the reasoning above :coffee:

@Rhododendron or @Nomulous ShackNewsBot is only linking the thread number (IE. threads/29067/) so clicking on the link will redirect to a page that does not exist. Simple remedy is to just add xenogamers.com/ before the link, but I don't think anyone wants to keep doing that. If I'm not mistaken, its considered advertisement in which xG gets a small portion of $$$, so I doubt it'll be going anywhere (unless it isn't and its merely there to promote gamer related news since xG is a gaming community). Its not even that much of an annoyance in ShoutBox, its much more bothersome when you are looking through new posts and it covers 1/2 to 1/3 of the page and pushes more relevant threads to the second/third/etc page(s).

Unfortunately, I stand by my decision from the last Ban Protest. Intentional mass wuz intentional. You should definitely do the pizza challenge or something tho, I'll pay for the pizza ;)
