Alright so, after taking into consideration that Darkwolf is on the fence about it and Gkoo is for a shortened ban, the best course of action will be a shortened ban to a length of one week. However, I caution you again that should you end up being permanently CT banned again, you will not be given any leniency if you decide to post another Ban Protest. You were banned by serbian on the 1st of July for mass freekilling on other servers. The ban length is two weeks. Maybe next time you'll think twice before giving our community a bad name. Take the time to review your actions. Just because you remove xG tags from your name, does not mean they can't check your previous aliases and notice the 'xG' tag in your other names. Meaning, I don't end up giving the winner more then they should be getting as, like I mentioned above, it's coming out of my pocket!

Another date will then be given, stating the time of day when I will be pulling a winner (via random name generator). The name I pull out and will be announced via forums! Think of it as a drawing. Depending on the amount of players joining in, the date will be announced soon afterwards. I am still deciding on a date for the ballot box to be closed, but I will notify anyone who posted when a date has come up! Heads up! Do NOT donate as soon as you post. All players/members who have entered will donate on a date (yet to be decided) so that I may tally up the amount of donations to be sure on the total amount being given as the cash prize. Date of Drawing and Donations The drawing for the cash prize will be held on August 2nd, 2013 (Next Friday) where I will be drawing the name (written on a piece of paper) from a hat. All entrees must have donated from the previous day (Thursday) until 7:00 PM on Friday, when the Drawing will take place. Yours truly, will be hosting an event that will not only benefit Xeno Gamers, but possibly yourself!! Interested? You damn well should be. What? No, this isn't a scam. Shame on you for thinking so! At this point, you're probably thinking "Forest, how about cutting the crap and getting to the point? How much $$$ are we talkin' here?" Well guys, we're talking about winning up to an amount of 100 big ones!! That's right guys and gals, $100.00. Now obviously I'm not going to be handing this out to just any player, I'd be crazy to do that [favoritism, am I right?]. So here's how it will work, it's actually quite simple. The cash prize will start at $30. "Now hold on a second Forest, that's not exactly one hund-" I KNOW. I know. There Is a catch, and it will require the complete co-operation of our players/members! In order to be eligible to receive this cash, you must first submit a post stating that you will donate a measly $5 to Xeno Gamers. The format will be as follows (for example. You may donate more then $5 should you choose to. In multiples of 5, your name will be added multiple times. Donate $10 = name is show twice in the ballot box, meaning double the chance of you winning! Donate $15 = name is show thrice, etc): >Forest Donation of: $5.00 It's as simple as that! Now, remember when I mentioned the cash prize will start at $30? Well here's where it gets interesting. For each member who states they are interested (posts a reply in the format shown above, minus the use of "code") this amount will increase by 2$. Now, that may not seem like much now, but as more players/members join in, the higher it goes! Up and up and up until, you guessed it, $100.00. A date will be given where the ballot box will be closed, and no further entries will be allowed. I'd like to know ahead of time how tight the budget is regarding the CS:S Division. That way I can appropriately determine how many servers [in my opinion] should be shut-down. Otherwise, the four I've voted for are RPG Surf DM, Build Wars, Gun Game, and the Christmas servers. Reason being: Let's face it, RPG Surf DM is dead. We already have an RPG Surf which is highly populated [when compared to RPG Surf DM] and it's pretty much the same concept. In almost all my time being here in xG, I have never once seen players on Build Wars. Granted, I never exactly monitor it nor do I check it, but judging by the sheer amount of people voting for it, it's a given. Yet another empty server among our many. Rarely do I see players on here, unless it's a group event. Needs to go if we are that tight a budget. Need I say anything? It's not exactly the "season to be jolly" so why is this even here? Takes up space, costs Silence more, needs to go. (I will however agree with what Twig suggested; this being the conversion of the Christmas server into a vanilla CS:S Server. This should really be considered [depending on how tight our budget is]) The reason I didn't cut out servers such as AWP/Scout, Death Run, and ZE/ZM(?) are simply because these servers are almost always used when a community event is being held. Granted, the most previous Community Night (excluding HidingMaster's Community Knight) had Gun Game in the server rotations, but it was far too much chaos to handle and drove players away. So, again, here are why I personally think these servers should stay: AWP/Scout may be unpopulated, but with the removal of Gun Game, there will be no other "competitive" servers we have [with the exception of our Scrim server, unless Twig's idea of a vanilla server is pushed through]. Death Run simply because it's extremely fun with a large amount of people. During a Community Night, most of the players/members thoroughly enjoy Death Run. I know, I know. Why keep ZE/ZM? The exact same reason presented for Death Run. Sadly, the plugins are broken and the server itself is pretty much out of order. If no one can step up to edit or fix it, then it is with a heavy heart that this server should be removed. Just my two cents on this whole thing. As Ganja already said, your best bet is to get on our TeamSpeak server and alert any CS:S Staff Members of any rule breakers. The majority of our staff is normally on during the afternoon, but I'm sure a few should be on in the morning.

So, recently our members (as well as myself, including a few Staff Members) have noticed some questionable changes regarding the MoTD for our Counter-Strike: Source Division. The edit above is one of a few changes in which none of us were even notified or made aware of and is now in the MoTD Rules. I'm not posting this thread to spite anyone or to get anyone demoted, nor am I posting it for any such negative responses. I am merely letting it be known that this is something that we, as Staff Members, should be notified of. Whether it be through a simple "Edit: (rule being edited) (date) (time of day)" or more preferably sent through our xG:Leadership group via Announcements or Events (preferably both. Events because it will pop-up on the screen, announcements because it'll be there in written text). If neither of these two are an acceptable means of letting us know, then at least post a thread in CS:S Discussion and mention all of the Staff Members (IE. @[name]) Minor/slight adjustments are the only things we shouldn't be notified of (rules that are simply fixed due to grammar or loopholing), but any edits that involve "serious" penalties such as slays (in this particular case, the slaying of Last CT for not giving time or even a teamban) should be broadcasted to us so that we may enforce it. Just giving my opinion on this whole thing, going to be going over the MoTD Rules for any other rule changes/edits that we were not informed of. If I see any, I'll be posting them here. Hopefully next time anything else is altered, our CS:S Staff will be let known. @@Gkoo @@DarkWolf6052 - Dat guy, Forest

Obviously the only likely candidates for this had Forum powers. Either way, didn't post this to start an investigation so much as I did to get it fixed. @@DarkWolf6052 @@Gkoo @@HighSociety should be edited back to it's previous state. In other words, the removal of these ludicrous sentences: "the WARDEN ONLY may give the T a gun to fight with and it NOT considered gunplanting. The fights must also be equal (T has a glock and the CT must also have a glock."
