  1. shout out to poncher for getting us back the xg admins and mods steam group from darkwolf, welcome back bro.
  2. Game Name: Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines Platform: PC Time Spent: (A rough estimate is fine if the game doesn't track it) Multiple hundred hours across multiple characters. Do you recommend? Absolutely. What you rate the game: (1 to 10) 9 Initial Thoughts: I've played this game many times throughout the year, usually i run a playthrough once a year. However, previously when i first heard about it, i kept hearing on the internet about how atmospheric it was and how it was a perfect representation of being a vampire in modern times (at least in 2004). On top of the fantastic voice acting from a number high profile voice actors, i was interested and by time i got through Santa Monica, the first area, i was hooked. Gameplay and Story: The gameplay consists of a third person and first person perspective. When using guns your camera switches to a first person perspective where you can also use your disciplines (spells) and third person when using melee weapons such as a sledgehammer or your fists. Quite honestly, probably one of the weakest aspects of the game, that i will continue further down along the line. The game also has a number of skills throughout the game that you can increase that give you several ways to get through an area and can spec yourself how you want to be. Do you want to be a sneaky assassin that is more willing to get in and out of areas without being caught? Do you want to be a gigantic juggernaut who is willing to take numerous amount of bullets while feeding on your enemies? Or do you want to be the seductive or charismatic vampire that is willing to convince others to stand down, or even fight for you? Well that is all possible. Don't be afraid to experiment with other skills. I will say that 1 skill is only really useless and that's the inspection skill. It really doesn't do much aside from highlighting items you will probably see anyway. On top multiple skills, the game reflects to it's title name, Bloodlines and because this is an RPG there are 7 clans to pick from when you start the game. Each clan has their own unique special abilities, and lore. For example, the Brujah are your basic warrior class in an RPG, their entire premise is being freedom fighters and are always known for being the first ones in and last ones out when they see corruption in power positions in the city. You can also be opposite in the Tremere. Known as blood mages, the Tremere are known for backstabbing other clans to further their own clan's ambitions, which is why they are usually not trusted. DO NOT PLAY MALKAVIAN OR NOSFERATU ON YOUR FIRST PLAY THROUGH, NOSFERATU CHANGES THE GAME QUITE DRAMATICALLY IN HOW YOU ARE ABLE TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE MEANING, YOU HAVE TO MOVE AROUND THE SEWERS FOR MANY PARTS OF THE GAME AND MALKAVIAN'S VOICE IN YOUR HEAD WILL POTENTIALLY GIVE YOU SPOILERS BECAUSE OF THEIR CLAN'S INCREDIBLE INSIGHT. That being said it is often regarded as Malkavian is the most popular clan because of how different dialogue is and how funny the character interactions are. But as i said, i would only recommend playing Malkavian on your second playthrough. The story of the game starts you off as becoming embraced illegally by a member of the clan you chose and their execution. You are essentially then dropped off in the middle of Santa Monica after help from your friendly neighborhood Brujah, Smiling Jack you are essentially the lackey to your cities prince. I won't go deep into the story because it's best to experience it yourself. But you will be dealing with multiple types of creatures including vampires, werewolves, psychopaths, Italian mobsters and much much more. The game Backstory: The game had a troubled development with deadlines that needed to be met and a brand new engine, the source engine, made life incredibly complicated for Troika Games. The game was released the same day as Half-life 2 thus was very overshadowed when it was first released and while Activision pushed heavily for them to release the game on top, Troika Games eventually had to give in and release the game in a very VERY broken state. However, just a few months after release, a modder decided to create an unofficial patch to help fix these bugs. The modder eventually transferred development of the patch over to another user Wesp5 and he has been working on the development of the patch ever since. He still updates the patch to this day and has been working on it for over 10 years. More talk about this patch later. Pros: (At least 2 reasons) I just stated that the game was released in an incredibly unfinished and broken state. How are there pros? Well underneath the game's troubles were countless positive attributes to this game. First off, the voice acting is phenominal. Every character, and i mean yes, EVERY character's voice acting is top notch. From major characters to side character, every character feels very well acted. This also plays a part in the personality of many characters. Grey DeLisle does a fantastic job voicing many of the NPCs throughout the game and gives a stellar performance to one of the most iconic characters in the game, Jeanette Voerman. On top of the characters and acting being top notch, the music is phenomenal. The gothic setting of the universe goes very well with the music and from the over-world score with the great selection of Darkwave and gothic rock bring you perfectly into the environment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znc1m36BYng& The wide variety of environments and areas you will be going through are all very well made, especially in the beginning of the game. One memorable mission the Ocean House Hotel, often regarded as the best mission in the game for its very scary and thrilling tale of a murder in the haunted hotel. Many praise it for the same reason of "Even though you are a strong vampire, the hotel gives you a great lesson of there is stuff you don't understand and are powerless towards" and i feel this is a perfect statement for this. It's one of the only missions in a game that genuinely scares me, every time i go through even though i know what will happen. Cons: (At least 2 reasons) As previously stated, the game was released in a broken state and for the game to be even playable you need the use of an external download. It is free, but even then there are just something modders CANNOT fix. The animations can be incredibly silly, basically laugh out loud funny. When you are walking around in cutscenes, it may look incredibly awkward as you side step to your destination, or when your character's eyes start to bug out in certain cutscenes. These moments aren't super uncommon and they are noticeable, but they aren't game breaking. There was one incident of a quest marker being broken when i last played it last month, but thankfully that was at the beginning of the game and i was able to restart to play it. Another con, would be the combat. The combat just isn't good. A lot of the time by the end of the game, you will be relegated to using fire arms because of how broken they are and at times the game can throw you into a tough situation where the difficulty spikes. (The Sewers in Hollywood is the worst area in the game. Bring a lot of blood packs and ammo (THOUGH, DO NOT SKIP YOUR FIRST TIME, YOUR FIRST PLAY THROUGH SHOULD SEE WHAT IT IS LIKE). Some of these difficult spikes come unexpectedly where, one moment you are slaughtering through a bunch of goons, only to find one boss takes a lot of hits and dishes a lot of damage to the point where you might die in a few hits. Final Thoughts: This game is a masterpiece when it comes to roleplaying, atmosphere, and story. Not only does it keep you interested with how your characters take part in becoming a major player in the city but also how your character grows as a vampire. It's pretty clear that the game's quality and decision making of what you want to do in the game is by far most complete at the start of the game and kinda falls a bit in quality by the end, but it is attributed to the lack of support activision gave to the game, on top of a new engine . Don't let this scare you off from playing one of the best RPGs PC can possibly give you. By the end of the game you will feel like a head player in the vampire world on top of making allies and enemies. The unofficial patch fixes a lot of bugs as well as restores content that is cut from the game, including quests, areas, dialogue and decisions you make in quests to give you more freedom in solving quests how you want to do them. They also unlock some quests that were previously only available for a certain clan. the link will be down below. Oh, and your dance moves are amazing. 3. *4chan buzzword* *4chan buzzword* *4chan buzzword* That's all this dude consists of from those screen shots. +1 for spergin out and using shitty overused memes while being an edgelord.
  4. What the fudge. Rest in peace.
  5. Basically started working on void elf, i pre ordered the expansion and created a Pally and been rep grinding for days. just trying to look for buds to play WOW with. also, Horde lives don't matter @OneGlove Yeah @Amymaniaci heard they nerfed and made questing a bigger pain in the ass to give people a sense of accomplishment and fun i guess? They reduced refer a friend exp from 300% to 50% and now Heirlooms don't stack with that bonus.
  6. I need buds to help with the grind to 110 for the new void elf race. i'm bored af questing so i'm looking for companions to help make this long ass journey bearable.
  7. Basically, the intel processors in many computers, (a great majority of them, probably your own as well), have a major design flaw There are reports that it can range from 5%-30% and there is a rumor going around, a specfic generation of intel processors, skylake (6700, 6700k, 6600k etc.) can have loses up to 60%. These flaws are present in processors from over 10 years ago. "At worst, the hole could be abused by programs and logged-in users to read the contents of the kernel's memory. Suffice to say, this is not great. The kernel's memory space is hidden from user processes and programs because it may contain all sorts of secrets, such as passwords, login keys, files cached from disk, and so on. Imagine a piece of JavaScript running in a browser, or malicious software running on a shared public cloud server, able to sniff sensitive kernel-protected data." AMD users should NOT be affected by this "AMD processors are not subject to the types of attacks that the kernel page table isolation feature protects against. The AMD microarchitecture does not allow memory references, including speculative references, that access higher privileged data when running in a lesser privileged mode when that access would result in a page fault." Source: 'Kernel memory leaking' Intel processor design flaw forces Linux, Windows redesign I wouldn't freak out, as the embargo on this information does not lift until January 4th. and we probably won't have a grasp on this situation until later in the month. I just bought an 8700k too. Fucking reeeeeeeeeee.
  8. In fairness to vaporeon, i will give my experience when he was staff member. My experience with him as staff members was largly negative, there were times where i felt i was getting wrongfully targeted by vaporeon by the smallest shit that ranged from just cussing to throwing bantz toward my friends, even after i explained to him a number of times that they were my buddies and for some reason would always try to push me by doing silly shit like taunting after kills and other little things to get under my skin. Also, every damn time someone would talk about his vore sprays in disgust he would get incredibly defensive and usually cause some silly shit. Now is it entirely his fault? No. Some comments were really mean and vaporeon didn't deserve them. However, these people would be muted for causing a ruckus (i believe i was muted myself at one point and i had to talk to a higher up, however feel free to exclude this because i can't remember completely, i believe it was scootaloo who had to get involved). Some were deserved, some weren't but it begs the question if you have a controversial spray that you know will disgust people, perhaps you should change it? Because at that point in my honest opinion it feels like your baiting and just asking for shit to start. You can have a vore fetish and by all means, have fun getting off to that shit but in this environment where you are in control of people and wish for them to keep in an orderly fashion, it would be wise to just change it something else like a vaporeon skin. because it gets to the point where people are just gonna throw shit at you or just get very uncomfortable with it. I mean, his last mod tenure ended with him getting incredibly frustrated and stepping down after he kept trying to say his spray was a "political statement" or some silly shit like that. I feel it's very valid for people to bring up his vore sprays as an issue of concern, but meme responses are retarded and add nothing. I won't vouch because i don't think it's fair for me to +1 or -1 because i haven't seen him play recently (nor have i been on the servers) so i cannot comment if he actually has matured. Good luck vaporeon with your application. If you have improved on your attitude and take my advice to heart then i don't see how you can't be mod. Hopefully shit goes better this time if you are willing to put in the effort to compromise with people who have issues with your spray and or attitude.
  9. hit me up with some skins fam on steam, i'm actually really curious! Also, i'm not sure if people know what overwolf is but it's a really nice tool for teamspeak that really helps you interact with people in chat while in game, giving you a notification and telling you who currently is talking. You can install it when installing teamspeak. it's really rad.
  10. tagging @Forest because he wanted to say something to the tf2 higher ups. @Sesh @mrnutty12 @Vexx @Bello
  11. 2 posts on the forums and you guys are already going for his jugular. God damn calm down.
  12. messaged you on steam, i've talked to upperstaff about it.
  13. it's disgusting. and i've voiced my opinion about it multiple times. i've talked to the higher ups about it.
  14. Criminal Justice. Might become a police officer. REAL LIFE JAILBREAK HOMIE.
  15. LOL my bad fam, i didn't see this. It's just sad there was little talk in that said thread. Sad!
  16. So i've been thinking about this for awhile and there are many reasons for it. First off, my biggest problem is how disgruntled, the TF2 xG community is. I'm not naming names because i don't want to cause shit or belittle anyone in particular because it's everyone in the TF2 div's fault, mine included for not doing a better job at trying to mitigate these situations. It's just the sad state of affairs this community is and frankly i'm tired of it. Everyone is at each other's throats with constant bull shit flung from both sides. This is also especially true in the staff community. Everyone has a clique and if you don't like someone they will try and do shit in their powers to get people they don't like demoted or promoted. I've heard ridiculous bull shit like people going on alt accounts just to instigate staff with the hopes of having them caught handling a situation poorly just for evidence to get them demoted. No one wants to help their fellow admin or mod. I'm not saying you have to be their friend or even like them for that matter, but to do some lowly bull shit like cut evidence up to make someone look bad or just being hypocrites and i'm seeing it is dragging into other divisions too and i'm really just getting tired of it. i was hoping @Aegean would make a thread about the state of the community of the tf2 division but that hasn't been created yet. If you're glad to see me demoted then fine. But it shouldn't be a good thing that a staff member is stepping down nor should it be a good thing that they were demoted. People in this clan go out of their way to not help moderators especially with their job on the line and it's pretty fucked. It also doesn't help that there is always a fucking problem. It feels like at least once a week there is this massive shit storm where it's nothing but shit flinging or passive aggressive comments, discord rants and so on. You might be thinking, well you will encounter this any where. That's true to an extent but for god sakes people. This is a video community, not some corporate business where you gotta step all over people to get to the top or some cliche shit like that. Second, school. I'm leaving this sunday for school and will probaby too busy to moderate when trying to balance a social life, university and so on. Third, Tf2 just isn't really fun anymore. i'm struggling to just get the hours to justify my admin powers and with this TF2 update not coming out to help light some sort of interest in this game it's becoming more and more of a pain. I'm sure many of you playing tf2 right now can understand how i'm feeling about how slow this update progress has been as i'm sure many of you have displayed as well. Anyway, thats it, i'm stepping down. I will consider coming back in the future however as of right now, with school, little interest in tf2, and just the tf2 division as a whole, i think its my time to step down. Hope the tf2 divison gets their stuff together and i hope all of the mods/admins do a great job. Peace. i will probably still play tf2 every now and again. Add me on my main account because thats where i'm mostly going to be now. Steam Community :: Vector @virr @Sesh @mrnutty12 @Bello @Vexx
  17. i think it's pretty clear that the community rejects this protest. i don't see any real reason to keep it open. @Vexx @mrnutty12 @Bello @Sesh
  18. I honestly have no idea how many warnings i have had to give you. These include verbal and kicks. You always go on the border of rules and try to loop hole through them, you harass people who seem to frustrate you and you disrespect people to the point where it's comical. only a week after you were unbanned from your month ban did you harass a player that 2 friends had to come in and try and stop you. that same day, you were breaking multiple rules which i kept telling you to stop then you proceed to harass me in steam chat and voice no matter how many times i have told you to leave me alone and stop calling me weird names. You also hog mic that admins have to tell you to calm down on it for other people a chance to talk and when they do talk you talk over them, you also proceed to complain about being killed and that ties back to the harassment. -1 i do not believe you deserved to be unbanned. However you may do any of the unban challenges. Want To Get Unbanned? | Xeno Gamers
  19. WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING: IF YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN THIS SERIES DO NOT, LOOK AT THE COMMENTS IN THE VIDEOS I POST AND DO NOT LOOK INTO ANYTHING ABOUT THE STORY. YOU WILL BE SPOILED AND I VERY MUCH RECOMMEND AVOIDING ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SERIES IF YOU PLAN ON COMPLETING IT. Game Name: Dangangronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Platform: PC PS4 PS Vita PSP (Japan only) IOS/Android (Japan only) Time Spent: (A rough estimate is fine if the game doesn't track it) 18 hours Do you recommend? Yes What you rate the game: (1 to 10) 8 Initial Thoughts: After spending hours during the summer doing nothing and finding something to play, i wanted a game to play that would captivate me as much as Persona did. A game with good story, great characters and fun gameplay. I first heard of the series from @Kyuubey and he wanted me to play it really badly after i was discussing games i wanted to play. It turns out multiple friends of mine had played it and really enjoyed. After some convincing from @Sesh, @Kypari, and @Kyuubey i said fuck it and started playing. It was a pleasent experience and one ride that i was glad to be a part of, with some minor bumps in the road. Gameplay and Story: The story tells of students who attend a school named "Hope's Peak Academy". In this school, you must be the best of the best in what you do, for example, a student is given the title "The Ultimate (activity here)" these include The Ultimate Lucky student, The Ultimate Pop sensation, The Ultimate Programmer, and so on. Your main protagonist is Makoto Naegi, a student who is selected at random to join Hope's Peak academy, allowing 1 random student who has no special ability to join the school thus deeming him the Ultimate Lucky Student. Soon, you are found unconcious after walking a few steps into the school and you meet your main antagonist, Monokuma, who says they must either live there forever or kill someone, and not get caught and convicted in a trial by your peers to leave the school (the rest of the students who fail the trial die). The gameplay of this game is divided between the free time, investigation, and class trial. Free time, is essentially that, free time you can use to either go to sleep to get to the next event, or you can use to spend time with your fellow students and get to know them more. After perhaps your favorite student dies you will be given time to find ALL evidence relevant to the trial whether it be how the victim died, what the perpatrator used as a weapon and so on. Do not worry about not finding any evidence, the game will not proceed to the trial until you found EVERY piece of evidence relevant to the case. Class trials are where you use your evidence to uncover who the killer is in your group. You use truth bullets (your evidence) to fire bullets at statements to counter the story when you notice a contradiction in their statements. The trials have a few mini games, including the one mentioned before, and the game brings more and more challenges to said mini games as you progress through your deadly school life. Pros: (At least 2 reasons) The game's art style is really unique. Everyone looks like they are made of cardboard and while that may sound like a negative it really enhances everything and is quite refreshing to look at. The soundtrack of this game is also phenominal, when executions happen you really feel the dread of certain people who are sent to their doom (i won't post for fear of spoilers), and even after completing the anime, the game, it's sequel and prequel/sequel i have it stuck in my head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V61l6A3_6uA The gameplay can be either very fun or very frustrating depending on the case however it really requires you to use your head and that is refreshing. the closes comparison i can think of is Pheonix wright. Most of the characters are interesting. Some you may start out disliking, you could be missing by the end of the game or they get better as the game goes along and that is very rare, especially for characters who might seem a bit boring when you first meet them. There is a lot of story and a lot of content including a School mode included in the PC version and Vita version. Essentially this is a What If? story that's non-canon and is unlocked after completing the first game. It's pretty much a resource gathering/Dating Sim where no one dies and is just there for fun. So have fun trying to bang your waifu while creating dolls for Monokuma. Cons: (At least 2 reasons) After a case is complete, new class rooms open up such as the Dojo, Piano room, Etc etc and they are obviously there for future cases. Many of the rooms you see you will never return after completing a case. For example, in chapter 3 you can go into the rec room, and it's very important in the next case, however after that, there's no point in going in there. I wish there were some activity in each room rather than just being there just to further the next case. The washing room is never used, not once. (at least from what i can remember), it's just there to be an explanation for why kids keep their clothes clean (some don't even use it). I don't even know why you need certain gifts, nor do i really understand them. Basically you can give gifts to people you hang out with during free time to boost their relationship with them to get new skills that will be useful in trials later on. But even then, when you give a gift to someone, there is hardly any difference especially when you give them a gift they love and like and even then i believe you can still get the skills by just hanging out with them and not giving them anything. Keep in mind this criticism is for the main game, i'm sure they mean more in school mode ( i haven't played it thoroughly but i will eventually). As i mentioned before, you have to be very precise on what you use your truth bullets on because while in your head the certain counter point may make sense in your head, chances are they aren't. While you can argue back and forth about this being a con, my only complaint is that some of these bullets can sound correct but in the end are wrong so you have to keep guessing. Be very careful. Final Thoughts: You will get frustrated. Especially if you see a character you like die very early, but keep moving forward! its very much worth it in the end. By the end of the first game i was hooked and i had to play the sequel, the prequel/sequel and watch the anime. And as i said before THIS SERIES WILL FRUSTRATE YOU. Just remember to have fun with it and when you beat the game, you can play school mode and hang out with your favorite waifu or bro. Thank you for reading my review. Hope you enjoyed the game like i did. REMEMBER DO NOT LOOK UP ANYTHING ABOUT THE STORY OR CHARACTERS, YOU MAY AS WELL GO IN BLINDLY SO YOU WON'T BE SPOILED.

i only seen him once and i don't really play pokemon, but it wasn't a pleasant one. He was trolling and being a real pain in the ass. He wouldn't stop talking over people and considering he has 7 mutes with varying from disrespect to mic spam to trolling i don't see how people can +1 him. @Ms.Spooks muted him right before i was about to.
