What game?
-
Exactly. Getting a gun from armory takes...what, 2 seconds? Mass-freekillers have more patience than you think. How often do you see people mass freekilling Ts that are in their cells at the start of the round? That's what you're implying happens when you suggest (imply) that mass freekillers would run out of armory as soon as they possibly can. I think your point about less gun spam is more valid than your logic behind avoiding mass freekills. Wat. The bullet penetration and ammo capacity of those would far outdo the capabilities of the auto shotgun. And don't forget about machine guns... EDIT: -1 to this thread.

Lol, I knew this was coming soon. I've been in a few communities with SeaBiscuit. I think he held the record for the most "leaves/rejoins" for one community in particular: ~4 times. You're a cool guy, Sea, but you really need to sort out your commitments.

Why did you leave before, and why do you want to rejoin?
-
Why were the rules changed if a consensus wasn't reached? In fact, if you look at the corresponding thread, you would see that the net score for changing the rules is -4. And that's only accounting for people that actually put a -1, not those who disagreed without putting a -1 in. Granted, this new rule isn't bad. I'm just wondering as to why you went ahead with your own decision on the matter instead of considering the majority's opinion. EDIT: Also, does this mean that mods/admins cannot say "Off" in All Chat to make someone turn off their music since it would only count as 2 votes?

Both of you are in the wrong; you both insulted each other (it seems like this has been going on for some time now). However, Abraham has gotten better over time than what he once was. Decision: 0

What sorts of exams are you facing?

No need to be so melodramatic. Isn't it a little contradictory that you want to increase the number of "off"s required to stop a sound clip, yet you wish for mods to be able to hand down a "stop using HLDJ" command? I think you and I both know that spamming hasn't been as bad as you're making it sound. I will admit that I've seen an increase in complaints about it since Onward started playing, however. If he or someone else gets really out of control, there's usually an admin on. If not, players can record demos. In response to your comment on Diabeetus' post which says this...

accepted John Wilkes Booth's member application!

Easy +1. Active, strives to better-understand the rules. Friendly. -
denied Onward To The Edge's Member Application
Lollerskater replied to ryfly95's topic in Member Submission
-1 No. Has misunderstood the rules quite often. Plays HLDJ - way - too much. And you know that means something when I say that. He complains pretty often when people tell him to turn off his music. Argues, etc. Not member material. If I see an improvement over the course of the next while, I might change my mind. -
So a permanent ban isn't a permanent ban if people wait long enough?
-
So when you say "friendly fire is off", you mean "friendly fire is on", right?
-
Why did you leave before?

This needs to be closed. I remember Aaron's mod application being denied (click here) because he didn't have 100 posts. The fact that these recent mod applications are even being considered when they don't meet the requirements shows a degree of: a) Favoritism, or b) Disregard of the rules. The leaders need to either stick by the rules or change them.

Fixed. These would be the conditions for me to plus-one any bomb ideas.
-
No, there should not be a way for a bomb to detonate upon death. No, there should not be a mega-bomb. Yes, special days should be brought back for a price. Lolz, Simon Says LR sounds hard to code/enforce.

After reading a few of your previous posts and thinking on it, I've decided to +1 you. This is because you seem to have improved over time since the time you joined to where you are today. You seemed to know the rules in-game, and were nice. Good luck!
-
Very well. For what personal reasons did you leave?
-
I made a thread on this a while back. Store option: Teamswitch Immunity

Make that + 12. +1, seen him on often, never had a problem with him.

Hmmm, maybe. There are some rounds which are pretty obvious on who's going to win. For example, when a new map begins, the team ratios are usually pretty messed up. I think earlier on today I saw 1 CT go against ~15 Ts. Also, you would have to consider if there should be a maximum amount of credits that a player can bet. Someone could easily get lucky with a !bet CT 5000 and not have to donate for quite some time since they would have 10 000 credits. Then they could go !bet CT 10000, etc... A T could also buy a large bomb to ensure the Ts' victory in a round. 500 credits is a small sacrifice to make when you know you will win a much larger amount because of it. This could cause a severe credit inflation in the server's economy, and before you know it, there will be large bombs every round since everybody has ludicrous amounts of credits. I'm just saying that it might be a good idea to set some parameters in place that define the ways in which betting may be used. Maybe make it so that only CTs may bet. This would encourage better team play (less derp CTs since there is more at stake), and would solve Ts using bombs to win a bet...although the possibility for inflation would remain. (Decision: 0)

[MARQUEE]-1 KK FREAKIN' CLOSE THIS -1 (Towlie, 2012)[/MARQUEE] (white text?) + 1; very active, knowledgeable of the rules, actually met all of the mod submission requirements before making a submission.

This may just be me, but I enjoy being able to choose the less common weapons like the SMGs or dual-elites. Thanks for adding the other suggestions though! Hopefully things will turn out good. Probably too early to set a timeframe for a release date, huh?
-
Primary suggestions: Make the map spacious. Nobody likes being hopelessly bombed every round. No guns that spawn in the cells. Vents are okay (if you must), but no guns. Or, if you absolutely must spawn a gun in the cells, don't make it spawn in random cells; make it a specific cell each time. Keep the number of map secrets (like secret places to rebel) minimal. Make them obvious so that the CTs have a chance to shoot rebelling Ts if they are paying attention. If a T wins a map game, make it obvious as to which T won. This can be done with podiums. Secondary suggestions: A sewer or some sort of pit that players can voluntarily jump into and commit suicide (like in Sunny City). Add tracer grenades like the ones Desert has after you complete climb, or put them in hard-to-reach places for the Ts. If you add a man-cannon, try to make it possible to shoot multiple people at once. Add a buyzone in the armory (in addition to the guns that already spawn there). Don't add a close button for the cells. Add some J-Biebs to the map's disco selection.

So...is anything being done about this? It seems like the majority of us want at least one rule to revert back to how it was.
