  1. Refresh my memory: - Why were you banned? - Why did you leave xG? - Why do you want to rejoin?
  2. Totally. I was banned last year for shooting open a vent before I was in xG (by McNeo), and I banned myself for slaying myself on someone's LR when they didn't want me to. Pretty drastic offenses, I know.
  3. Two mass freekills that may have been planned? Not answering Warrior as to how they happened and instead waiting until someone else says it? Easy -1.
  4. There is a new "rewritten" MotD out right now with a few new rules scattered here and there. I'm getting the impression that nobody documented these changes.
  5. Not sure if this has been reported, but if somebody rates your post , it will cut off some of the post's content (the blue rating bar will hide the content) sometimes. See my post here Admin "Rule changing" and copy paste my entire post into somewhere (highlight the blue bar too) and you should see what I mean. Also, how come when I click on a thread, I'm automatically directed to the latest post?
  6. Lol, freeslays? Confusion? All you need to do is ask the rebel-hunting CT why they aren't with the Ts. If they say that they're "rebel-hunting", then you have to give them the benefit of the doubt because, unless you were spectating them, you don't know if they saw someone rebel or not (not to mention the fact that they may have done a headcount). I appreciate it when my CTs aren't with me because wherever they are is one less place that a rebel could be.
  7. Lolz? There should be no restrictions on rebel hunting. Going by your contradictory posts, it's clearly not as black and white as "you can only pursue rebels you see" (as I've discussed with you before). Simplicity is one of the many reasons why this rule shouldn't exist. After all, a jailbreak that is more simple in its rules is what many people have been yearning for, is it not?

  13. To become a mod, you must be a master in coding.
  14. Pfft, make haste and close this thread. Silence himself said no! ;)
  15. >Voted no for the lolz. EDIT: Also, I knew this before voting, but why did you make the votes public? Not really a good way to get an honest vote for a question like this.
  16. Yeah...I left after Gungame. I'm pretty bad at it. It feels like Call of Duty.
  17. No, no, no. This is the most unbalanced Jailbreak map I have ever played.
  18. Even if that is true, coding is definitely an asset. It was a joke, but take it as you will. Besides, there are references to 4chan (and trolling) all over this community. It may have been ignored by some; it may have been counted by others. Needless to say, there have been invalid member submission acceptances - whether it's due to invalid plus-ones or other rules (like waiting 24 hours before accepting). It's not the community's responsibility as a whole to fix coding problems, although, in a perfect world, everyone could contribute to the solution. It seems like nobody wants to undertake the responsibility for coding. Naturally, eyes fall upon those of higher stature to get these things fixed because they are the ones with more permissions to actually access and look at some of these things in technical detail. It seems like you're being....Amish. Plugins, rules, maps...all of these things supplement the population and style of the server/community. Adding some common plugins won't make me feel prideless at the end of the day. This can go both ways. "Everything that is not in the rules, is illegal" will have just as many exceptions as "Anything that is not in the rules is fine." There's advantages to both philosophies, and I'm not a sole follower of either one. Maybe. The quality of our servers dropping is one possible reason for the population dropping. There are other possibilities though. Maybe other communities' servers have improved (to be superior to ours), or maybe the population of CSS as a whole is dropping slowly as new games come out. "Blind response"? Forums are for discussions. If everyone perfectly understood everything before posting, there would be a lot less things to discuss. I have my opinions, and stand by them. I believe them to be true, but I do not discount the insight gained from others' perspectives.
  19. Problem? There is a degree of knowledge and responsibility that comes with the acceptance of higher positions. If there's no difference in knowledge (example: coding) between Admins/DMs/DLs, why have different ranks? Why accept to become a DL (if you indeed accepted your position) if you lacked experience in dealing with problems that were likely to arise? And then you grow frustrated when people ask for what is expected from you. Nobody seems to mind when (for example) Tree gives meaningless plus-ones. In fact, people seem to laugh and encourage it. "Oh, Tree, you're so incredibly funny with your off-topic posts. Please continue." Not everybody has - or wants to kill - that sort of time. Just add the plugin. You don't have to use it if you don't want to. And yes, I saw your post about how it would be difficult to code it to only affect certain maps. However, features like this are what would make our servers stand out from others. I can't help but feel that your opinion on this is swayed by the difficulty of coding. Not always. Ever played on Steam Gamers? They have a timer plugin that activates only at certain points on obstacle course maps. The plugins don't define the community. Not sure what you mean here. I think the quality of the community (or at least the Jailbreak server) has been pretty static. Don't worry, I will.
  20. A: 8/10 M: 6/10 D: 0 You've helped the community a fair bit. However, your personal interaction with myself and others can be rollercoaster-like at times. I would suggest being more accepting of others' perspectives and not to be quick to get angry. It's mature to have calm discussions, but easy for them to escalate... I'll give you a specific example of one time where I felt you did something uncalled for. On the map "Black Ops" on Jailbreak, I did something that you felt was wrong, and you announced to everyone, "this is why I don't like Loller as a mod". Just tone it down.
  21. Ok, what can you tell us about yourself besides your ability to make throwaway threads?
