On vipinthemix, you can stand at Soccer and kill T's that leave their cell in plain field of view. Where this guy was he would have had to run around in front of cells and shoot him. Where is the rule that says I HAVE to be in warday area at the time given for Ts to leave cells?
And no I do know quite a bit about Jailbreak, I have been playing it for over a decade!
I do not like the fact that i am seemingly a target for slayhappy people... No one even asks my side or anything it's just instant slay because someone says you should do it!

Dumbass in CS:S slays me because I killed a guy for leaving his cell early on warday, so of course I'm like WTF?! and argue the point, THEN he changes the reason I was slayed from "freekilling" to "not being in warday area by 7" so I comment about that and get kicked...

You're right and wrong. This rule Does exist, however it only pertains to a Fire Drill Freeday. I won't quote the entire thing, you can look it up if need-be under the "Fire Drill" heading. This is in No way implied on a Standard Freeday that all Ts are pardoned, as it does not state so under the "Freeday" heading. Vector was in the wrong as unless we magically have bombs back, it was a standard Freeday and was therefore a freeslay -
No it actually is not a rule.No, it's actually not clarified within the motd, so unless supported by staff currently on the server, it is not a rule. However if staff currently online says that something not in the motd is legal, then it is legal (once again, only within reason). For someone who rewrote (I'm using the word "rewrote" in the most liberal sense possible, all you did was rephrase the motd and change rules so you personally could remember them better) the motd, I would expect you to understand something this incredibly simple.
And if that is how it works, I am fine with that and understand that not ALL rules can be listed... but for something so entirely not obvious for a rule, and something that differs on other servers and CS:GO, it would have been better done to inform me of the rule instead of just slaying me.

I took a break from this thread for a while, mostly due to my category 5 headache I have right now, but I'll take some time to type up a response to as much I possibly can. First things first Matsi, you really need to learn how to conduct yourself on forums better. If you thought this was a stupid rule or if you were unsure on whether this was a rule or not, you could have typed up this thread and put the title as something more appropriate. Titling the thread "Bad Mods making up rules" is not the way to start out your thread, especially as you've had a history of starting flame wars over minuscule things with staff you didn't see eye-to-eye with. So starting off this thread by essentially disrespecting staff isn't a great way to get anything accomplished, but you continue to show your immaturity by continuing this pointless argument far beyond the point that was ever needed. Instead of asking why this was a rule, you immediately start an argument. Did you see the rebel or not?He was called out by warden BY NAME to be a rebel and I was told to find him and kill him, I was looking for him long before the warden died.
I don't remember if he was one I had actually seen myself to be rebeling but I assumed that the warden did since he called by name that he was rebeling...

What you said may not have been disrespect, but it was certainly uncalled for. Whether or not you agree with the rule doesn't make vector a bad mod. He did his job as he should have. So what's the point of this thread? All I see is it being a place to complain about what happened and not really deal with it in anyway.Either list the rule as a rule or don't enforce it when someone doesn't know it exists and when CS:GO rules on it differ.
A mod's job is to teach people the rules, not being a slayhappy douchebag, specially when the server is empty.

first off.... calling that stupid made up rule retarded and saying that noone likes CS:S wasn't disrespect towards any of the staf.. it was disrespect against the "rule" and the server.... learn the difference.
second off... Warden called him out as a rebel and I had been searching for him the entire fucking round, and when warden died there was ONE guy left that was going to get LR after I found the rebel.
third off... you prove even MORE how bad of a mod you are by saying that me not knowing that there is a made up rule that is LISTED NOWHERE AT ALL means that when I break it it is MY FAULT..... GG
I even went into CS:GO right after you kicked me and asked mods thre and they said you were stupid and that rebels remain rebels, one of the mods said that bleed even says that rebels remain rebels when it becomes freeday.

Matsi, I like you, you're a good friend, but please don't start up another flame war. All T's are pardoned upon a freeday being called. If you didn't kill them in time before freeday, its your loss. It's just like when we had FireDrill Freedays; the firedrill goes off, all rebels are pardoned as soon as the firedrill went off.
I am not trying to start a flame war, I am just pissed off that I try to play CS:S and have some fun only to be slayed, with no warning or anything, not asked "why did you kill this guy" not even given a reason until I asked for one, over a rule that is made up and not only is it made up, it' is not a very good rule. I don't like being punished because of a rule that is "accepted by the admins" and I have no idea it exists until I do it.

...That is a rule. Once a freeday is called all rebellious T's are pardoned. Unless the T was doing some kind of rebellious action AFTER the freeday was called, then you can kill the T. For example, if you were hunting for someone who perhaps killed warden and then a "warden-dead freeday" happened, then that T would be instantly pardoned once 15 seconds went by and a freeday was called by default (if you managed to get to him before the 15 seconds, you would treat him as a normal rebel). This is pretty much universally accepted among the CS:S staff.That is ridiculously retarded, it's no wonder all the CS:GO players say CS:S is bad and why the server is always dead. I was playing on it to help populate it but I am not going to anymore since the rules are so much different from CS:GO because people make shit like this up out of their ass. not to mention the reg sucks dick, when I awp someone for 30 dmg GG.
Not to mention the bad mods that will look for reasons to go slayhappy on your ass when they don't like you or you disagree with them.... reminds me of Line... :(

A Badmod slayed me today because I killed rebel after it became a freeday. Telling me that "once it becomes a freeday all rebels are no longer rebels" which is bullshit and mentioned nowhere in any of the rules! On every JB server I have ever played on(including xG's CS:GO) rebels remain rebels unless pardened.

But how could it be the mapgroup when everyone else can connect?Prolly isnt, but that's the only thing I was able to find with that issue... and my suggestion remains.... reinstall everything from scratch with fully up to date versions and reconfigure it from scratch to make sure it's all correct. :)

Someone should take the time one day to just completely reinstall the server and all the plugins. As well as configure everything properly.

So.... I am pretty sure there is no rule that states that CTs HAVE to be in warday areas by ANY given time, only that they cannot kill anyone while not in the warday area.
I am wondering why I have been slayed for getting to the warday area a few seconds late and then called names and told to read the motd, but the motd doesn't say anything about that and I have heard from other admins that the is no such rule.
